I don't think that this is a problem, when the light intesity is dimming the
white balance change and you get far from 6500K color temperature.

Hey guys just noticed after comparing with another galaxy nexus handset that my screen brightness when turned low red hue tint to the display. My friends screen is blue hue which is better sharper when brightness has been turned down off.
Has anyone else had an issue to their devices with the screen I would like to hear from them
I have searched the web and there is a problem on the screens either yellow blue or red
I have now read that it maybe a software issue in ColorSync in the android os that's need to be addressed
Thanks
I compared my note 2 with 3 others and have realised that my note 2's notification Led Is much LESS brighter then the others. I have no idea why. But is there a way to increase the intensity or can anyone shed any light to why this can happen.
Thanks!

The LED brightness varies on external light source, if you are out in sunlight then it will be bright but if you are in a dark room the LED will be dim.
I think the third party apps turn them to brightest possible always, like Light Flow or Light Manager.
I have tried both the above mentioned app they dont have a setting for brightness just for colour and blink rate. Also i tried covering the light sensor to see if the LED would get brighter or dimmer but no change occurred .

I have the same problem and also the ambient light doesn´t change the LED intensity
I've noticed that the difference between the lowest setting and the brightest setting is not that great. In other words, the screen doesn't get that dim or that bright.
Has anyone noticed this and does anyone know a fix?
Anyone else have issues with the screen where certain colors just disappear at lower brightness? Red's just disappear on my screen and so do grays. Here's a video of me adjusting the brightness and you can see the red and gray just disappear and comeback as I adjust the brightness.

Try this app:

people have been using:
fluorescent
strength 40%
contrast 100%
brightness 100%

Brightness should stay at zero% and I'm using the strength at 70%
I'm getting to the point where I want to get rid of my pixel 2. Sick of black crushing. Videos at night or in dark rooms look garbage. Even taking photos at night I can see the sky or blacks pulsing in a blotchy mess. Looks like Google is going to sweep this under the rug.
Tried all types of settings and the app and I still see it.
Hello. Playing with the wallpapers from pixel, i noticed a white tint on the bottom part of the screen. Only on low brightness. Has anyone encountered this issue?
Nope, its probabbly only on your device.Dont panic it happens ?
