[Q] [req] Beats on poweramp equalizer - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good Evening gentlemen
I'm a music lover and my current rom is rcmix3d runny 3.3. As most of you know the rom itself contains beats mod. Im also a fan of poweramp and I use it. Poweramp has a DHD button in equalizer page which has Dolby mobile effect. I was wondering if any of you devs add the beats mod there. I'll be so glad.
Thank you

Only the author of the poweramp app can add it. Read their forms. Answers are there.

When u run default player, and play music with beats audio, then pause it, and run poweramp, something happend with its sound, think beats still on...its not best solution, but it could help

Beats is entirely a software mod, i think, if you mess with poweramp equalizer settings, u can achieve the same effect as beats. Even better, if u succeed, u can use dolby or srs together with your equalizer setup.

[Q] Beats Audio feature

Just mentioned that the beats audio like not really a good audio enhancement because it boost the treble too high. When I use my earphone to hear , the music just like imbalance.I am not sure that whether is my personal problem or some of you also feel like that.
Any of you can recommend me a nice music player ?
Beats work fine for me but i prefer SRS sound way better,

[Q] Unable to mod Beats auido

hi
i am using MildWild 3.7 version ROM
i tried beats audio mod from below link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226
after reboot, it struck at the boot screen
please say
if any one know how to mod beats audio for this ROM.
Thanks in advance
I hate to say this to you but that **** doesn't work. It's all placebo. Don't waste anymore of your time. Just get a decent music player app, or DSP manager and a good headphones.
yeah u are absolutely right
please suggest any good player
i had samsung g s2 headset
I just use stock music player plus dsp manager. Some people like Poweramp. Its a paid app but a trial version is available if you wanna check it out.
via xda app

[Q] Sound Enhancer

While browsing through the the default music player I checked on various sound enhancements of my One X, it had the beats and usual presets, but then I noticed that it does not have HTC enhancer (I believe it is called SRS on other phones like on my Desire HD and HD7).
Whats funny is that this preset is present on the default video player (along with the beats preset).
I actually prefer this preset compared to the beats or any other preset and I was wondering if it was possible to enable it on the default audio player or any other 3rd party audio player (currently using Ubermusic).
Headphones
To use the sound presets you have to be using headphones, it should then appear in the settings but probbably only in stock music/video apps. Although once changed should effect every app!
Yeah, I am aware that would be the way to do it, but my question is how to get the HTC SRS enhancer on the default audio player (or any other player) as it is available in the default video player (Why put it in the video player in the first place?).
Im assuming HTC thought people wanted the beats preset over anything else when listening to audio. I would have wanted the choice on using the SRS one as I feel the sound is more clean and surround.

you may need to edit an .apk file in the system and the framework.jar. I know the file is srs_trumedia_51.cfg in /system/ect/soundimage.
It would be awesome if someone did make it work for music.
Try THIS or THIS for improved audio

ty for linking my thread
BassMod is nice but currently only works for the included music app doesn't work with stock but does work well and has the srs thingy bobber.
DSPManager works with both headphones/speakers and with any app, but you don't get srs.
i would try both i'm currently using BassMod to test out.

then you would need to mod the stock music app, it used to have a "htc enhancement" but that seems to be removed.

The code to enable the HTC Enhancer is either in the HtcSoundEnhancerSetting.apk or HtcMusic.apk however I suck at finding things
gonna wait until someone can find the right codes
It really is frustrating that it is available on video players but not on music players. I'll take what I can get, whether it be a music player, equalizer manager or modified apk. It seems I'm not the only one who misses the punch SRS does.

[Q] Firmware with the best musical tweaks

I bought a monster studio headphones, but not yet bought the iPod, so I listen to music on wildfire. Advise the firmware with the best musical tweaks.
Now I use a stock 2.2 with the root, the player PowerAMP, flac music.
JetAudio app on CyanogenMod rom with BeatsAudio tweak. Although I think the wildfire sounds best with it's original ear phones. Btw "I bought a monster studio headphones, but not yet bought the iPod" awesome logic!
Focused on the cyanogen with DSP and standard player, poweramp is quieter and less bass even with the preamp. Beats is massive)

Make Music Sound Absolutely Awsome With Beats Audio + Ac!d Audio Technology (ROOT)

I wen't across a Rom for the Galaxy Ace called Beats With Smooth Sense. This Rom is a HTC like look for the Ace, but come packed with Beats Audio DSP manager. I also had DroidAce V3, but music didn't sound as Good as smooth sense rom. So i thought to myself, what if i had the Beats With Smooth Sense Rom and also installed AC!D audio technlolgy to the Galaxy Ace's system. So, i wen't ahead and insatlled AC!D audio technology, and still had beats DSP manager. I Enabled BASS BOST to Extreme and put on EQ to Bass Bost. Then i activated the AC!D mod (actully activates it's self once headphones are plugged in). Then i opened up my music player and put on Bass Bost within the player. Then i started playing music (Earthquake By Labrinth Actully ) and the music sounded outstandingly better than the stock ROM with no mod.
It had the Bass that Beats Audio Promised and the crispy crystal clear audio that AC!d Technology promised. Music sounded great even with cheap $2 headphones from cheap as chips. But this modification really made a big differance to my stock Samsung Headphones.
I have also chucked in Dolby Mobile wich made a slight effect on the music if you wan't to have a try. It made it slightly clearer.
To do this you will have to:
Download the Beats With Smooth Sense ROM here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1535536
Download Sytem App installer from Google Play from here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.traber.systemappsinstaller&hl=en
Download the attached files to this Thread.
Now once you are ready, cook the Beats With Smooth sense ROM to your Galaxy Ace. Once done your device will reboot with a beats audio start-up animation. (It'l take about 2-3 minutes before it'l boot) Then once done download the sytem apps installer from Google Play (in the rom you must update Market to Google Play automaticly). Once system apps installer is done you should transfer AC!D soun mod.apk to you devices sd card and also coppy Dobly Sound mod (if you also chose it) wich is something named under com.krabapple.dolby.mobile. Once done open up your file explorer and install the two sound mods. Now open up beats audio DSP manager and switch on bass bost and put it up to extreme also put on the equilizer in dsp manger to Bass Bost. Now open up AC!D sound mod an tick allow notification (just so you know it;s on and working). By now you should plug in your headphones and go to your music player and go into settings> equilizer> bass bost. (5.1 Channel makes it sound horrible, especially since you just did all that work of activating Bass bost!) So use bass bost. And dolby mobile will activate and change from speker to headset the moment you plug in headphones so no worries about that. Now you can start playing some music, yeap you probably already notice the MASSIVE improvment! Sounds awesome, hey? A song that came out pretty good was mind your manners, you could really hear that gutair do it's work
I tryed a $2 pair of headphones and it made it sound great but with Stock samsung headphones it was awesome.
* Note that i'm not responsible for any damage this may cause nor is the dev of this software and ROM. Also note that i take no credit for the ROM and apps that the devs of them made them.
Now you can sit down and REALLY enjoy your music.

Hmm sure it wasn't a placebo effect?
Because Acid Audio Engine needs the lib files to work and you only have the apk link (which does not have the lib files)
hm.. i already try this on Cm 10.1 by Old droid n it make dead speaker, i dont know on Ics or Gb but i think it is work
