Site Ideas

So, I have taken a Web Design course and just invested in Dreamweaver and Photoshop (both CS5.5). I am looking to make a site similar to my guides. Kind of an Incredible 2 reference site. I was wondering what things you guys would like to see in this type of site. Thanks.

All your guides you made, and a forum like setup for anyone who doesn't understand them completely as well as other walkthroughs and general android news. Also see about making it tapatalk compatible.

That would a lot of help, to noobs and a directoryof dinc2 info.

I actually think there are enough Dinc2 forums out there. I'd personally be more interested in a nice, neat maintained list of ROMs, tutorials, and resources. Info tends to get buried in forums, especially for a noob.

Guys, I am working on the site, but I need help with a name. I originally came up with "HTC Resources" but then I might get into copyright issues, and make it seem like I am affiliated with HTC. Any ideas for good names?

Well, the site barely has anything done so far, because I've scrapped stuff several times, but I like where it's going now. The name I have decided on is:
quietly rooted: make the most out of your HTC phone

Man I had the same idea as for making a reference site for the phone. Would you mind if I linked you're guides in it? You wrote up some good stuff that's helpful.

He posted something earlier that he was leaving xda and wouldn't say the reason. But that it's deeper than we think and it has nothing to do with the users. He said to follow him on google+ but I couldn't find his account on his xda page.

He attacked me personally when I was trying to complement someone other than him in his thread... He then went on to delete my subsequent replies because they made him look bad... I'll miss his ROMs but certainly not him!

may have jumped the gun posting this....believe i had a misunderstanding myself. the threads are back, likely just some cleaning up to do.
that being said, i've never seem tdj post anything that spoke poorly of his character. i've 3 kids & i'm sure i wouldn't have his patience & temperament dealing with what gets directed at him around here. and i'll agree with you on one thing...i would miss his roms if they were no longer available

New to the T999 community!

Hello guys! My name's Jose and I came over from the galaxy s 4g forums. I finally decided that I needed something better
So, I was wondering if yall could give me some of your opinions on some ROMs to check out? I Havent rooted this bad boy yet but ill read up on that later. Thanks guys and I hope I can bring some help to this awesome phone's community!

Agreed, there are at least 4 threads on this matter and all you have to look at is the amount of support (change log) and look to see what you like after 2 hours max of reading you will find what vest suits you. At least do some research (state the rom and the features you want, need, and questions you have about each rom) and then you'll get some responses that aren't derived from frustration at laziness.

Or after reading you can just post any further questions here as it may be helpful toward the community. I'll probably see it updated and I'll give you personal feedback. I've flashed them all and tested for at least two days even took notes down at one point lol.

I was just showing this to my husband and explaining what I think happens....
It's probably people using the app because on the regular webpage the sticky threads are obvious and right at the top when you open the forum but on the app they are hidden in another tab.
I think people would probably stick to a visible thread if there was one....took me a while to figure out the hidden sticky thing...
Oh well. I don't suppose they're going to change the app...

I know... Right?! It's kinda ironic that site full of devs and we can't get a decent mobile app version. Don't get me wrong... It's not horrible but it certainly is lacking in some areas. My guess is someone is being stepped all over in development (meaning various developers with hands in the pot) but I don't know for sure.

Hello XDA.
I Just wanted to start this thread for 4.3 info. I have looked online but info is vague. So maybe the community here can drop solid links or info for the big update. I did find an article that says the Note 2 and S3 are skipping 4.2. But no real time line. So does anyone else here know anything more? Sad this is a great phone...still sort of new...but has yet to get a real update.
Also. Search function on phone app kinda stinks. I did search for this topic first. Got every topic that even mentions 4.3 or t mobile note 2. Sorry if it is already posted here.
When a New XDA app update is made...here is an idea...a detailed search function. :thumbup:
