[Q] voltages on stock EC05 kernel? - Epic 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello, im trying to find any resources what are the voltages for the stock EC05 kernel
i think its 100-1000
but i don't know what the stock Governor and IO scheduler are.
conservative and cfq?

You mean frequencies, yes 100 - 1000 Mhz.
I believe you are correct that the default is conservative and cfq. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. A lot of people like ondemand.

[Q] Using SetCPU profiles with SavagedZen governor?

I am currently running Savaged-Zen kernel with the SavagedZen governor. I was previously running the stock CM kernel with conservative governor and had a screen-off profile.
Does anyone know if you still need to keep profiles if you are running a smartass/savagedzen governor?
I don't believe so, as the governor and setcpu would counterbalance each other. You can keep the profiles, just don't enable setcpu.

About CPU frequency governor

I'm using arconium 8.0 with doomkernel v19, and recently install setCPU. In setCPU I can choose min/max cpu freq. and different governor. I just wonder what is the original governor of arconium? (or should it be decided by the kernel??) before I adjust anything in setCPU. And if I uninstall setCPU, will everything go back to original?
It's not in Acronium 8, but in the kernel used that the gouvernor and the frequencies are fixed on the init.d script. You can change both the frequencies and the gouvernor on set cpu. When ininstalled, they come back to the original values in the kernel.
If you use stock kernel, there is no settings for the gouvernor and the scaled frequencies.

Are you sure about this? They remain on last setting value if i remember right.

Stock GNex voltages

Hello, can someone please help me by telling me the stock voltages for the CPU,GPU and IVA? I have freezes with the basic voltages in franco's kernel SmartReflexand enabled.
I saw that some voltages from the CPU are decreased from the stock ones. I think my phone can't handle those voltages(maybe something chip-related) and I want the stock voltages and franco's kernel tweaks too
Im on AOKP milestone 1 (4.1.2) and franco's r300 kernel.

Up the voltages yourself until device is stable. And its indeed related to your chip quality.

I just disabled the SmartReflex option in franco's kerenel and my device is working like it never did, hope it will remain like this )

I thought you knew the stock voltages, seeing how you mentioned that franco's voltages are decreased
Anyway here it is.

those are exactly the ones that I knew,i need for the CORE and IVA :-/
I dont think franco's messed around with core and iva, only cpu voltages.

I overvolted each freq in CORE with about 50 mV and the games that use to have many little freezes, now they don't i probably need to overvokt IVA aswell. The only thing that slutters now is when watching a video, and sometines when scrolling thru desktop pages and appdrawer pages.
That's what i said.

[Q] Which scheduler and governor are you guys using ?

I flashed the rin kernel and wanted to know what you guys using as io scheduler and governor. What were the effects of choosing them ?
Thanks.

You can find explanations of governors and schedulers here:
[REF][TWEAKS] Kernel Governors, Modules, I/O Schedulers, CPU Tweaks, AIO App Configs
[Info]Useful info about I/O scheduler and CPU Governor!
Thank you for these useful posts but im more interested in what people actually experience. And i heard that some governors are not supported by some phones.
Interactive/noop
Now i set it up to smartassv2 and sio for screen on. For screen off i use smartassv2 and sio. I'm using performance profile xposed module.
EDIT: Now i read some of those and learned that using different governors for screen off and screen on would cause lags when waking up the device so smartassv2ed all of them.
I use intellidemand and deadline for screen on. Has always worked well for me on any phone.

What cpu governor?

Heya What cpu governor do you guys use? anyone use conservative? how is it working for the g4 ? Thanks in advance
I use the default Interactive on the little config
And onDemand for the BIG. Feel/saw no difference. Might swap the BIG from onDemand to conservative
