i did this method also but when i go into settings>about phone it says under build number "starburst stable 10.9.11" so its still using the starburst rom. the only thing i have noticed is it just gets rid of CWM... what am i doing wrong then??? sorry if the answer is obvious i am a newb still.
did you download the file from the link I posted? The Stock-EG30.tar file? If you used the .tar file you listed in first post that might be problem. Download Stock-EG30.tar , open odin and put Stock-EG30.tar in the PDA slot and hit start.
thanks for the patience with me. i was using the other file because they had a similar name.... this fixed my problem thank you very much!!!!

Hello all. I messed up my phone and need help
I tried to flash a kernel thru oden. When I flashed it I placed the file in the phone part instead of the PDA part. Now my phone is in a constant Los and won't get out of airplane mode. I've tried flashing different kernels with no luck. Any ideas?
I'm a bit of a noob so I could be wrong but I Believe u need to search for the modem to flash via Odin there is a few threads floating around about this subject. Hope that helps some.

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my phone's USB connection. It constantly believes it is connected regardless if it is or not. As a result, I cannot put the device in Developer mode to unroot the device.
I need to unroot the device so that Sprint can replace it for me. Every version of odin I see available is of the rooted variety and the FH13 Odin unrooted version has been pulled for now.
Does anyone have an unrooted odin tar available?
Thanks

Thank you sir, dev-host looks like it's in the middle of an upgrade. Any chance someone has a mirror? If not I'll just wait.
Thanks again!

We aren't allowed to mirror the file. What Rom are you running right now?
rwilco I believe also has a FH13 stock unrooted one click...
http://rwilco12.xdafileserver.nl/?dir=LeakSite/LEAKS/Samsung Epic 4G Touch/FH13/ROM
That should get you going.

I believe he removed all of the unrooted versions for now. I could be wrong but I think I read that somewhere.
I am uploading a zip file that will fix you up. My upload is slow but I will post it when it is done.

You can use one of sfhub's One-Clicks on the phone.
You'll need a zip extractor and Mobile Odin. [There is a free version of Mobile Odin around there that Chainfire provide for the XDA Crowd; you just need to flash his support files]
Follow sfhub's superb instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721229
Then just delete the superuser apk.
That should surely be enough for you to show Sprint your stock.
Finally finished. Backup whatever you need to and flash this in CWM. This will give you stock FH13 with wiped data and stock kernel. You can flash the FH13 modem before using that zip or Odin it if you want a matching set. If you aren't already using the FH13 modem that is.

I am told that I am in download mode, but my phone will not boot, it will not move past this screen, and I do not seem to be able to do anything with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do from this point. I am willing to flash the stock rom to it, but it's not responding. If you have any links for instructions on flashing the rom, please, let me know...
It's the Sprint Galaxy Nexus.
Download Mode = ODIN Flasher look into that, but please do be careful. ODIN can do more harm than good if not used correctly.

I have searched on that, do you have any suggestions on where I need to look, or what I need to look for as far as instructions to properly make this work? I just want to make it work. I have the recent tar files for the antenna and the stock rom, but I can't find any instructions on how to load it.

Yep. I had that screen before...all you have to do is js follow the link mentioned above..you'll be fine. Thought I was dead when I seen that screen, took it into sprint corporate store and they seemed suspicious so I js read up on it and fixed it myself..as long as your computer cld still read the phone, js run the original files posted in shabbys thread using Odin and you'll get everything back to stock. And start fresh

I have gone back and loaded the file into PDA with the odin and it recognizes the phone, but it sits on SetupConnection. Is that normal?

Okay. Check that, It's now loading. I had to re-install the device drivers. Now, how do I go about installing the FD02 antenna file? Do I install this through Odin as well?
Sorry for all the questions. I'm a newbie at this.

He needs the tar files too
Ok everyone, I am new to all of this..so i hope I dont sound stupid.
I have a Sprint Galaxy s3, and the person I got it from has rooted it and installed a custom rom, etc. I would like to go back to what it was when it was first out of the box, or the stock rom. I am afraid of bricking the phone, as I have never done this before. I am assuming there is a forum post on here with exact instructions on how to do this. Can anyone point me there, or help me out? Thanks in advance!

Yes I would probably do this.
Watching the video now, and following the instructions to click on the links he says to..but when i click on them..it says page not found, on everyone of them.
I agree with Giantjay, it's always a good idea to get as much info as possible before doing anything. Read, read, watch the video, read more, ask questions.
So i found the Odin download, now my question is..where do i download the right TAR file.

Hello fellow XDA
I know what the problem is. I wanted to return to stock so I wiped everything and I forgot to install a ROM. I manage to fix this problem before. All I need is a PIT file but I cant seem to find any. I tried Odin using only an AP file but that didnt work. Not sure what steps to take. If you guys could just point to the right direction it would be awesome
