I've done my research but i couldn't find any answer
Does anyone here work with the Go Launcher EX Theme template? If so, can you please post a tutorial on how to add docks to the template for use on the homescreen?
And if possible also, how do you add a background on the APP Drawer?
Thank you in advance!

To change background of app drawer:
1. Go to home screen
2. go to Preferences > Theme Settings > App Drawer Background > Custom Background
Now as far as adding docks to the template.....I think they only have a template theme creator for Go SMS.....not Go Launcher. Other than that I'm not sure I fully understand what you are asking. Are you wanting to change the look of the icons on the dock bar or are you wanting to change the background of the dock bar?
To change the way the icons look you just long press the icon you want to change, select "replace," and then choose whether you want the apps default icon, the theme icon, or a custom icon.
If you want to change the dock bar background go to Preferences > Theme Settings > Dock Background
Below I've included thumbnails of the icons and dockbar I used to use. If none of these are what you're trying to do then let me know.
Theme template?
Can someone tell me where the theme template can be found or any other way of creating Go Launcher Themes. I can't find it on their site. Looks like its been taken down. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, any idea how to change the background wallpaper in the menu screen? It has always been a black background after pressing the menu button. Quite ugly looking. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Yes i would like to know as well how it can be done. I had once a HTC Touch Diamond 2 and the winmo had an optionto change thw wallpaper in both home screen and start/menu programs.
+1
Would've been cool to know how to do this...
i want to know the same
You mean when you press the apps icon and it takes you your installed apps? that background? or your dock background? Dock backgrounds easy so id guess the other may also be, backup your touchwiz30launcher.apk throw it on pc use winrar to check it out res/ drawable-hdpi folder. There should be a .png in there to change it i'll check tonight if time permits..
Did it worked?
I have Louncher Pro, do I need to change it to touchwiz louncher?
thanks
hey guys
adw launcher allows you to have a transparent background you will still see your homescreen pic, or u can change to any coklour you like and it also comes with themes you can download to spice up icons and layout and so on. thats the free one. there is also adw launcher ex which comes with animations and more
I want to know how to change the background of the menu's (and I don't mean the background of the app drawler as mentioned in the post above. i know how to make this one transparant)I mean al the different menu backgrounds. Now they are all black.
I made some icons for the Go Launcher and Launcher Pro so as to match as it possible with the ICS Themes and to show uniformity.
Will be continuously updated and added more.
Also You can ask the icons that interests. Of course I can't create icon for each application of the Market but I will try to do my best.
No need to change icons in the App Drawer or these are inside a folder.
We are interested only what we can see.
For any icon you want to make for you, please send me a screenshot of the icon in black background.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Instructions
Just download and unzip the file. Save the folder at your extrenal SD Card.
Press and hold the icon you want to change and select "Replace/Custom icon".
Select the folder with my icons and press on that you want.
ATTENTION: at the next step you have to click on the "No Crop" and then "Save"
Some icons they have at them title the word DOCK. For example PHONE_DOCK.png These are for using like Dock Icons.
Thats all.
Thanks to the OP... but how about this one

Sorry but I didn't understand the meaning of your post.
I write at my post: I try to make some icons so as to match with the GoLauncher icons (icon Folder).
Sorry if i offended you... it was never my intention... great to have some themer here... Thanks...
I just installed Go Launcher Ex. Is it possible to have the normal moto dock with Go Launcher?
The normal moto dock has the blue and red buttons for dialer and contacts. I'm not very fond of the Go Launcher dock which has transparent buttons...
Help please?

Im not sure about getting the Motoblur buttons but there are plenty of themes available for GoLauncherEX. Just check out the GoStore and get another theme.
You can also simply long press on the dock icon and chose replace/Custom Icon to change the icon from the transparent ones to one of your choice, or pick default icon to choose the Apps default icon.
The more themes you have, the more icons you can pick from.
hope that helps
Stick with GoLauncher, its got so many good things
Check this out.
Thanks for your reply pprakash.
It doesn't create the desired effect . There's no option for transparent icons on GoLauncher...
Is there any way to replace the GoLauncher dock with the original Motorola dock? (3simple buttons for call, app drawer & contacts)??
The second attachement is the Transparent icons. You can replace the DOCK background with the first attachement in the post and the individual icons with the Transparent one. You need to set two places for same action. For Ex. Left two positions should be dialer and right two positions to be Contacts.
@Prakash: Dude you're a genius! Thanks to you it worked perfectly!! Now I have the same old Motorola dock with GoLauncher installed. This is awesome!
One more question: Is it possible to remove the "Home" button/icon that appears at the bottom of the app drawer? It takes up an entire row of space which could have been utilized to show more app icons. As it is I can use the capacitive button to go back to the homescreen anyway.

@gamefrk ... I am not genius. Just sharing back what I learnt here .. Regarding the Home Button .. Not yet. It can't be disabled anyway as of now. Probably you can contact GO team for that ... they may release it in future I think. The workaround I use is Vertical scrolling. This makes Home button to be un-noticed
Even I use vertical scrolling, the home button doesnt go unnoticed for me...

Hi Welshandy.
I might be wrong but I don't believe that there are any themes available for Leedroid yet. In terms of icons, you can use any icon pack that you want. Try ColdFusion HD. they are my personal favorites. to apply them you will need to be using a custom launcher such as Apex. Long press on the icon you want to change and then select the icon you want from you icon pack
You can use Desktop Visualizer for changing icons. It's a freeware from Market.
Are you stock rom user and feel bored with stock launcher.
why don't you make it more beautiful by read this little guide.
well, you can decompile Launcher.apk to edit anything you want but I won't explain this. we will use two module exposed, resflux and holo themer (root access is needed). Check this out!
Change color tile with your own color
open resflux> go to laboratory> find Launcher> tap color and there are so many resource
What should be changed:
icon_bg_blue
icon_bg_dark_blue
icon_bg_green
icon_bg_orange
icon_bg_pink
icon_bg_purple
icon_bg_gray (setting)
folder_bg (folder)
Done, reboot
Set background image on Launcher
open resflux> go to laboratory> find Launcher> tap color> find "Black" and make it transparent. I will use #00000001 for full transparent. Don't reboot, now move to holo themer.
Open holo themer> find Launcher> tap and change default to user wallpaper (don't choose "user wallpaper no titlebar" or you will get "Launcher has stopped"). Okay, reboot
Is it possible to use live wallpaper?
-yes, but only homescreen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762794
For fastlane
Go to resflux> Laboratory> System (framework-res.apk)> tap drawble and search notification_template_fastlane_bg_normal
Make it transparent or just change the color, finish then reboot
Thanks for reading this little guide, I hope you enjoy it
good guide...

It's me again. Thank you so much for the guide!

I managed to change the background and the icon color become transparent.
But i can't find the "notification_template" on resflux. where is it exactly?
Also, i know i'm biting more than i can chew, but can we also change the widget color into transparent?
Thank you so much in advance
P.S. I really want to post my screenshot here, but i don't know how. I tried to insert my image url from blogspot but it seems like i can't insert link from outside xda.
