You should explain what exactly happens so someone may be able to troubleshoot ya.

I have been having this pop up error message come up on my phone for a week now and it basically says that it is a known issue with the software version and to call sprint and tell them. I have called 4 times now to no avail. Does anyone else have the same problem? Do you know what is causing it? And do you know how to stop it? Thanks in advance.

When u call sprint tell the rep to go to known issues with the device and reset the mediastream. Make sure ur calling from a different phone, turn ur evo off. Once the info is pushed to the device, turn the phone on and update profile... Issue resolved ....

Thanks for that info. I will call again and tell them just what you said. If they have done that and or do it this time, and the problem continues, what should I do? Should I just forget about trying to get the issue resolved and wait for an update to the phone? I just don't want to keep bugging them for something that can't be fixed or well keep happening.

With it being a known issue, that should fix it. If not find a corp store location (sprint.com > find a store link) and see the tech on duty

Ok Im having issues with my mt3gs. Damn thing started acting up more then it use to .. the phone doesn't receive or place calls when it wants to. The phone is unlocked, rooted, ron is cm6.1 and has the latest radio update and the phone is on simple Mobile . The phone works fine with data but called wont go out or in . I have to reset it like 2-3 and then it will work. But for a while then back to nothing .. before I would get incoming calls and out going would be iffy but found a way around that using Google voice call back app. Also the phone works grake with t-mo sim. So if any one has or had this issue please help ...

This might be a dumb question, but this is usually one of the first things I've ask.
Have you tried a different ROM?
As for Simple... Well, I know there's a few people out there who are on that, so I hope they browse by and maybe have some words of advice.
Well I jumped to cm 6.1 cuz in the stock rom the phone wouldn't make out going calls .. I would dile out it will then reboot itself when the call wouldn't go .and with the cm rom it will just hang it self up after like 30 sec..

I have been trying to get a APK that will actually work on the Nexus.
And I have already tried Google Voice and it sucks. I simply want VVM back.
It was simple and all I needed.
Is there an APK that will work on a stock Gnex from Sprint?
Do I have to Root?
I am a total noobie with this phone. Last phone I rooted was a Moment before my EVO 4G.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search for vvm.apk. I think I ran it on my hero when I was in cm6. Once you find the apk just install jt

He's done that already. He (and I) would like to find a modded apk that will work w/ICS or Jelly Bean.

I remember getting those notification texts from 9016 on my E4GT. Has that been fixed?
Vvm. Apk does not function. I've installed it 3 times. I get 2 texts from Sprint saying to call some number, but nothing happens.
I am going to attempt to root my phone today..... But I suck at this stuff.... LOL
I simply want the plain old sprint vvm....
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
There was a workaround for the 9016 issue, I think you can blacklist or block that number. I can't remember the exact procedure, but the Heroc guys had it working over a year ago. I switched to Google voice for voicemail and love it, but I know the vvm.apk can work on aosp roms

ALMOST There??
The site you linked to has a working zip for sprint VVM, (although it was a slightly older version, and I got a "404 not found" error, I managed to find it) I got it to flash on cwm touch to BB8 for Gnex... I flashed it, wiped cache and dalvik and ran a fix perm on it... It PROVISIONED! Yay, right?? Nope, while I am recieving 9016 messages now, and even alerts through the app reminding me that my Voice-Text Trial is about over, I still cant get the voicemails to receive and notify through the app...
I sent a vm to the:
activate @ vvm. sprint .com
using the app and that went through just fine...
So does anyone know how to integrate this the right way so that it will really work?
I am not receiving any error messages at all... All others I have tried give some sort of error. This one has not, so I am sure there is something small I am missing...Any takers?

hey guys, I just bought a galaxy note 2 and I have two problems
1- The ringtone starts very quiet for a pair of seconds and then it gets much louder. Well I find this really annoying and I wanted to know if there was any way to fix that. I dont have root. Anyone else experienced it?
2- When I send SMS with the default app, if they are a bit long, they get automatically converted to MMS. I already tried to change the "Creation Mode", even to restricted, but nothing.
is there a way to remove this option?
