Tell him to wait. T-Mobile will have their version out very soon. And, no, your phone won't work. Sprint is CDMA and T-Mobile is GSM.

You can flash it to metro pcs or boostmobile and get 3g

Also, I think you'll need MSL's and stuff

Every GSM phone has a sim card while CDMA phones don't use sim cards so you wouldn't be able to put in a sim card to activate it

Dont waste your money. If you want an Android phone and on a GSM network you may look into the Samsung Infuse or something similar. But CDMA phones cant be used on GSM networks and GSM phones cant be used on CDMA networks.

so its not possible huh? cause I mean, the link I posted states "Once your cell phone is unlocked, you can use your mobile phone on any telephone network worldwide such as:HTC Evo 4G Orange (O2 UK), HTC Evo 4G T-Mobile, HTC Evo 4G Sprint, HTC Evo 4G AT&T, Evo 4G Vodaphone, Evo 4G Virgin, Evo 4G Bell, Evo 4G Telus, HTC Evo 4G Softbank, HTC Evo 4G US Cellular, HTC Evo 4G Verizon, HTC Evo 4G Cingular, HTC Evo 4G Airtel, HTC Evo 4G Rogers, and many more!
Get an HTC evo 3d, it has a sim slot.

Well heres the thing...I haven't had a phone since August and I'm on a tight budget right now. I've been looking at HD2's on Android but most of them are in New York (I'm in NJ)... The last phone I had was the Samsung Vibrant and it was terrible.. Phone calls were lost ETC (mind you, I had it rooted.) Before that, I had an HD2 and bricked it trying to get Android on it.. I've also been looking for a G2X, but still, thats a LOT more money than I was hoping to shell out.. I saw this add and kinda got really excited, since it was real cheap ($100..hes willing to go down to $75).

It works great, but only shows 3G for AT&T, no 4G as it shows when it's on T-Mobile sort of 3G/4G network..
Actually quite honestly, I don't see much difference in 4G/3G difference is there when we go to LTE

I was doing some research and saw that Tmobile is releasing an lte enabled s3 and I was wondering if it would be able to be used on the $30 4g plan. I was also wondering if that phone would still be capable of using hspa+ if it has an LTE radio. If any of you guys could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks
The T999L will be backwards compatible from LTE to HSDPA+. TMO is going to call it daul 4G.. So 4G on HSDPA+ and 4G LTE..
Dont know about the rate plans.
Thanks

The latest update removed the lte functions from the phone, so thats why they did that to charge more money for it!
