Can't download anything from web!!oh em gee

Everything I try to download from the web ends up being xxxxx.html..wth?! I have download any file from the web enabled in astro and unknown sources enabled. Any suggestions?

what r u dl'ing? most everything works for me.
.apk .cab .mp3 and .jpg for the most part but other stuff too and im not having any issues

Stock browser

So I want to keep comp kids rom but I need stock browser such as the one in the frozen rom then the rom would be a dream does anyone have a stock browser apk file or a flashable file that would work with ec05 ;-) thanks in advance

You can just pull the browser out of one ROM zip in the system/app folder and put it into the other ROM package and flash.

So I figured it out however my computer will not allow me to cut paste in system app nor copy paste its like it is write protected

Try using 7zip to open the ROM package and extract the browser from one and then drag and drop onto other ROM package.

Zip compression app

I'm looking for the best zip file compression app that the android market has to offer i use root explorer but I feel it does not compress the files enough. Please do not respond to this thread telling me what your favorite file manager is that's not what I'm looking for I need a specific function done more compression

Solid explorer works for my needs but I know you do most direct from your phone. That being the case I'd use zarchiver.

U can compile 7zip from sources. Also "zip" binary is there - just add maximum compression options.
As for da best - u can port Kzip from sources.

Total Commander is best and its free too !!!

EXE file extension only works on PC. It may be a compressed file with the actual book inside it. You could try downloading WinRAR, change the extension to .zip and see if you can open it.

It's most likely encrypted. So, unless they have an Android app, you are out of legally accessible luck.
Then there's the whole DRM argument.

Help! ? Good app to recover deleted ext card files

Man I was deleting some junk files but didnt realize I had mulit select chosen on all my family photos using es file explorer. .. deleted 52% then canceled when realized what was happening...
Any way any app to dig deep and recover them.These were all ext sd files.

Just go to the play store and search for recover lost pictures. You'll get a bunch. I've personally used easeus on my computer if those don't work. Great program, but expensive
