I leave my 4G on all of the time. I always charge to full before I crash out to see what kind of drain I get with no use. My battery has been between 92 and 94% when I wake up so I think 4G is properly sleeping. Now, Social Hub and a few of the other apps constantly running on their own is pissing me off. I guess its time to get rid of the bloat

I think its ok to leave 4G on without draining the battery much. Its becomes a pain when it loses signal and keeps trying to connect and disconnect. If we had steady signal all over we wouldn't have to worry about much in terms of battery .

It's definitely you're battery...I was having the same problem. I replaced it and I haven't had the issue since then

fk23 modem

How's everyone's experience been with the fk23 modem?
I know that my performance took a massive hit. I went from having a ping of 100ms and 1.1Mbps down .8 Mbps up on FI22 to a ping of 600-750 and .3Mbps up/down FK23. Not sure if it's just isolated to me or my area would be nice to see how it's for the community.
Im actually not on sprint but I can say that my service has gotten better with this modem vs others.

I started getting the emergency call issue this morning.
Also I started getting a really major this morning as well. The phone will boot up and after a minute or 2 just show the no signal icon. Then after a few more minutes just shut down on me. When I try to turn it back on, it goes through the boot screen and boot animation but then just goes dead. When I try to power it back up, same issue keeps happening. The battery is good, not swollen or anything, also it's fully charged.
I love it. Ping is a little high but I can fix that later. Not sure why it says network unknown though. This is the best since Calkulin and coming from a complete wipe. No issues with modem at all. Loving the battery life too.

Facebook

The big update finally hit android users. It's way faster. !!!

Doesn't seem any faster at all. I can't tell one bit of a difference. I have a 25 mbit connection and it still takes ages to load photo albums. Still a horrible app.

Idk dude every update that Facebook claims to be "faster" and have "less battery consumption" just seems like bull. It sucks battery no matter what and the app is no faster and completely identical to the mobile site. In fact if you just set your profile to send email notifications it notifies you on everything instantly

I have no problem with this, cause I'm one of the few that don't have a Facebook. I know I'm strange

Supposedly the app is a complete rewrite to be Android native...Testing it for myself...I've been a big fan of FriendCaster Pro, so I hope they took a few notes from them
I love the new ui. No problems on my end

Quick question guys anyway to disable the low battery popup and sound completely. With my zerolemon battery my once my battery hits 15% the popup warning starts but the funny thing is this battery last so long that it takes me 10 to 20 hours depending on usage to get it to 1% so the popups drive me nuts. Please help.

I'm not running this ROM at the moment, so I could be wrong, but is it not in settings/display/battery notifications? I know that particular ROM is heavily debloated, so it might have been removed.
I've checked everywhere and I guess its been de bloated cause I can't see it anywhere.

battery notifications
Do you have the pop up notifications found in display settings unchecked? I'm running this as well thats the only setting I'm aware of relating to battery notifications. I havent had my battery drain down that low yet to see if it still beeps yet since its only been a couple days.

Haha good one. Just the basic greenify and the use of app quarantine to stop the stuff I don't use. This zerolemon 7000mah battery is just insane. With the stock battery I was charging it every 8 to 10 hours of use.

VOLTE?

Does this eat more battery? Because it just came up in my area and now my battery is going down fast

I haven't seen any bad battery life. LTE is kind of like WiFi it's not as terrible on battery as HSPA is.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I think because now you're on 4G LTE while you're on a phone call it uses more battery I've noticed that not necessarily on standby but when I'm on a call I'm eating battery
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
My battery life has gotten quite a lot better, i use play music for most of the day and usually use 30% of my battery doing it.
