It's definitely you're battery...I was having the same problem. I replaced it and I haven't had the issue since then

Does anyone know why after obtaining root it takes forever to charge the battery? I did not have this problem pre-root, but since root a 2 hour charge nets me like 20% battery. Thanks.

Ugh... Did a search for bump charging and found my own answer. Please delete

This is honestly one of the reasons I'm back to stock at the moment. Hopefully someone figures this out soon where bump charging isn't necessary...

I leave my 4G on all of the time. I always charge to full before I crash out to see what kind of drain I get with no use. My battery has been between 92 and 94% when I wake up so I think 4G is properly sleeping. Now, Social Hub and a few of the other apps constantly running on their own is pissing me off. I guess its time to get rid of the bloat

I think its ok to leave 4G on without draining the battery much. Its becomes a pain when it loses signal and keeps trying to connect and disconnect. If we had steady signal all over we wouldn't have to worry about much in terms of battery .

Is anyone having battery issues with the update I didn't wait for mine and flashed it about a week or so before I was due for the update and my phone turns off when the battery is around 15 or 20 percent. The sprint animation doesn't come up it just dies and then I can't turn it back on while unless I plug it in and the white battery symbol shows up then I have to wait like 20 minutes to turn it in and it will turn on with about 3 to 5 percent battery. Does anyone know what's up or if this is normal with this phone.

Doesn't sound normal to me. I've run mine down to 5% before on stock. Bad battery perhaps?
I'm not sure on the battery settings it says it has good health status so I'm not sure...

If I were you try these few things.
Make sure the charger is working correctly.
See if there is an app killing the battery.
Try and see if the stock power save mode helps.
Try clearing the cache and rebooting.
And if all else fails do a clean install on LGNPST. This usually fixes most issues.

I had same problem about 1 year ago
Turn off ur phone and put it in change for 7 or 8 hours
It solved my problem
Maybe this can work for u too

Ok I will do it

It drains because of Sony bloatware and not a very fresh battery..there is many reasons but the main is bloat and battery that is old/not calibrated properly...get the battery out wait 5 min and press power button and hold for couple of seconds WITHOUT BATTERY put it back use the phone until it shutdown itself, connect charger turn it ON and then charge for 7-8 hours.and get rid of widgets.that is all you can do without root and stock.make sure GPS and Bluetooth is turned off when not needed and 3g/WiFi.if all this don't help after couple of days of use try juicedefender maybe but its heavy app that runs all the time it will slow the phone.

Battery Drain
Try the above suggestion.
Also I suggest that you root your phone for optimize usage.
In that way you will be able to remove the bloatware correctly.
I use Setcpu profile activation. When my lockscreen is off it lowers the cpu settings.
