Anyone else having a bug on Chrome that when typing in a search bar and you press space it deletes the word?

Been using chrome since the day I got my galaxy. On stock rom and cm9. Haven't had any problems.

I usually use some windex and paper towels to get the bugs of chrome
on a serious note...
yeah that happens to me sometimes.

I have a problem occasionally when I got to delete a word in search it just adds the last few letters of the word before it over and over like this: applepplpplpplpplpplppl just as an example have to lock phone and cut back on to fix

Ya this happens for me with Swiftkey and Chrome. But I think it's only on the Google search because the auto corrects are somehow messing each other up. It does not seem to do it when you search with the address bar.
Okay so its very annoying I'm running running he latest omega v7.3 now but its happened on a few other ROMs as well unless it has to do with 4.1.2 but anyways while in the browser it happens a lot when scrolling with ONE finger my thumb sometimes it zooms in or zooms out for no reason like I put another finger on the screen when I didn't. Anyone know what this issue is?

Anyone else have this issue?

ROFL
This is because you holding it with one hand & it touches the screen from two points, 1 your thumbtip. 2 your thumb base
So when you scroll it looks like you are zooming in or out
Happened with me but i figured out why is it happening by taking side view when holding it with one hand
Hope i helped you

This confused me lots when I first installed 4.1.2. I thought the touchscreen was playing up and not registering my input correctly. Then I finally realised it was zooming on the edges of the screen. Very useful when using the S Pen otherwise just a little annoying. It would be good if it could be enabled only when the pen is out.
Does it only happen on 4.1.2?

Yes only with 4.1.2. It is browser feature which is really useful especially using with one hand
I'm running Jellyverse and I've noticed that when using SwiftKey sometimes the letters won't pop up or word suggestions load slow. Sometimes it won't notice I've input a word for a dew seconds. Is this normal? I'm really not that fast of a typist either.

swift key flow is in beta, normal swift key isnt. but if you are using flow, then what you expect its a beta. but if you running regular swift key i would wipe app data and do a reinstall, that fixes my app problems 95% of the time
So we all know the GS4 out of the box has some atrocious lag. Well I went through the steps to clear a lot of it out without rooting. Just stock, and changing some settings within the OS itself. But I was still noticing some small lag here and there. Well it turns out I put my GS4 on the charger and start using it, and I notice that there is significantly less lag, I unplug it, and then it goes back to usual lag. I have done this back and forth a couple of times, with the same results.
So could it be that Samsung ramps up the CPU when on the charger?

Your power save could be on?

I never experienced lag on this phone until yesterday and I noticed google services was using uo my battery. Went to the google settings and there is a new option call android device manager and I unchecked all the location settings and lag gone. Also if you have google currents go into settings and disable background sync.

Checked that and it's completely off. I wouldn't put it past Samsung do that, we've already seen them ramp up the processor and gpu for the benchmark rests, my guess is that they lower the clock speed when not charging or maybe below a certain percentage.

No lag here. Sorry to hear that bro

It's not like it's everywhere, it's just in a few places, like hangouts, where my One never lagged, or sometimes a jitter when swiping through apps or home screens. Guess I'm just not used to it coming from the One. But there is a difference in performance when plugged into a charger and not.

Watch a movie on the one or play a game. Its night and day compared to the S4.
My cousin has the one. YouTube takes at least 2 more seconds, worse quality, and skips.
Games skip/lag, and loading time is longer for the One.
You gotta take the good with the bad with either phone.

That is true, the YouTube app is much more solid on the GS4. But one small thing is that I get this huge black bar at the top of my YouTube app when I switch from portrait to landscape. Anyone know how to fix that?

That's just the app itself. That's not even a problem. If something like that REALLY bother you, then you're EXTREMELY anal about things.
P.s. I think you're a ONE fanboy that came on here to put down the S4.

I have the weird app issue, so does my brother, and my mom. Both have galaxy S4. Why can't YouTube/Google fix this. Shouldn't be to difficult?

Exactly what black line are you referring to?
I even took a screenshot of YouTube with the search bar left on. No double black bar on my phone.
Like I said before. Its a ROM/app issue. Or phone issue.

Is that normal the screen haves a tiny and I mean almost micro separation from the metal frame it seems normal but the bottom of the screen isn't like that?
I have that too.
I thought it was from dropping it or something.
I almost noticed that gunk gets stuck in between it as well.
