top of screen a bit separated from the frame? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Is that normal the screen haves a tiny and I mean almost micro separation from the metal frame it seems normal but the bottom of the screen isn't like that?

I have that too.
I thought it was from dropping it or something.
I almost noticed that gunk gets stuck in between it as well.

Bottom of touchscreen doesnt respond?

Anyone else notice that the bottom 1/4" or so of the screen has no reaction to touch?
Really sucks when typing as the space bar is only reactove for half its size. Also causes some problems in games. Happens in all orientations. This really bugs me.

I just tried both Swype and Samsung Keypad. Both had full range touch for the spacebar.
It's obvious then that your phone is defective.

No problem here. Looks like yours has an issue. Try a factory reset.

.. Andddd I'm an idiot. I use an app called wave launcher that requires a swipe up from bottom of the screen and therefore has this space dedicated for its users input. I can shrink the size of the space in its options.

S pen issues

Has anyone else had Issues with the S pen 'making contact' when its only meant to be hovering?
I had a N7105 for a week with no issues...sent it back and picked up this N7100 yesterday. Starting noticing the issue today with a drawing app. I kept making marks when I was hovering!
Any ideas? Do I need to take it back?

I'm getting similar issues so would be great to find out if this is a common occurrence.

I also face same issues and its practically UNUSABLE due to this issue. I found an advise on youtube where removing the cap on the button on S pen expose a potentiometer and slightly turning the screw clockwise reduces the sensitivity of the S pen and can fix the issue. I haven't tried it yet but will certainly do in the near future and update here.
I still have the N7105 boxed and ready to be returned... could I swap the pens or do they only work with the device they are shipped with?

Stylus sensitivity
This is fixable by turning the tiny screw under the button of the stylus there's a thread about it

Cheers, I should have searched for this first.
It was suggested on this thread...

That a firm tap on a hard surface can fix the issue. Some people seem to have had success with that. I've tried it, but its too soon to say if its worked.
I don't plan on tweeking the sensitivity adjustment, because I've only had the handset for 2 days and would rather just return it as faulty.

Well thats that fixed then, a notice board pin and a bent staple later my s-pen is working perfectly!

Dirt in the home button (white version)

I had dirt in the device since day 1, but now it's just getting really annoying seeing it. It's a little black spot on the top inside of my home button. I tried scratching it out but I couldn't, any advice on how to take it out?

Possible to have a like imagine burn in

Whenever I have white on my phone I can see the original home screen like the one I had when I first got it. Is it a burn in? Cause ik the icons aren't from my phone now say like when I open Google chrome I can see just slightly the home screen apps from when it was new.

Pinhole in plastic strip on back of phone

I noticed today there is a pinhole sized hole in the top plastic strip on the back of my M8. Looking at the press shot for the M8 on the Verizon website, it looks to be there too. Does anyone know what it's for?

That's the active noise cancellation mic
I thought it might be a mic but my cutout looks all jacked up so I wasn't sure. Thanks.
