I like the Lockscreen and new styles of CM7.2,
but my some software can't work well in CM7.2, just 7.1
someone help me ?
First tell us what doesn't work or what's the problem in 7.2. It isn't too easy to backport features from newer rom versions. 7.2 has a slew of new features. If its an issue with apps not showing on the market that may be easily fixable.

The google maps and Careland Navigation gets gps for a while, lose the signal soon.
In the GPS source of settings
if i chose the use internal gps ,then the problem is happenning.
default---no chose
when I first use CM7.2.
I think the gps source use the external so i change it.
and i can‘t change it back.
Today i flash it again,
after i installed all the software ,don't change anything,
try the Careland Navigation,it works well.
but sometime later, the problem happens again,
The google maps and Careland Navigation
Sorry my english!
I've not had a GPS issue that I know of on cm 7.2. I also use Google navigation but didn't have any weird GPS drops while using the incredible.

I've never tried it because I don't want to pay all the money for it but Widget locker would probably work. I've used Go Locker and it worked fine, so it should work as well. Like tiny said though, I've never had any problems with cm7.2 and Google Navigation so I don't see why you would unless you had some sort of conflicting app on there. CM7.2 is full of fixes from 7.1 though so logically it wouldn't make sense for you to experience problems in 7.2 that didn't exist in 7.1. That being said, the 7.2 Stable release became available on 6/16 so you may want to give it a run, if you haven't already
Hi,I just have a few questions I would like to ask
1. Is there any battery drain?I know the factory 4.2 rom has it , but how about PARANOIDANDROID?
2. In 2.54,there's a "cm colour" option under advance settings , is that option still available in 2.99?
Thanks
The battery drain is going to be there on 4.2 depending on how you have your Google services set up regardless of rom.
As to #2, it is now aosp based, and some cm tweaks are being merged in. It may or may not make it in. Right now their focus is on working toward the stable release.
Remember, 2.99 is beta, and although very usable as a daily driver, isn't quite what the devs feel is suitable as a final product. If stability and optimal battery are paramount, you might want to refrain from flashing beta software. Conversely, if you want to live on the bleeding edge and are willing to live with a bit of instability, betas are a good peek at what you might be able to expect in the upcoming stable release.

Thanks for the prompt reply,I think there is a misunderstanding here.
Where I said "cm colour" , I meant the colour profile which PA 2.54 came with. Now I know that PA 2.99 has a new kernel, I just want to ask if that particular profile is still there.
Is there anyone who had tried PA 2.99 knows whether there is a significant battery drain?
Thanks again though.
Its not just a new kernel. The rom is built from an entirely new base. It was previously based on cyanogenmod 10, but is now using soap as a base. As such, its not going to have many of the cm tweaks that were present in 2.54 and earlier. Some, but not all, may eventually make their way into the stable release, which will be PA 3.0.
As for battery drain, yes. Its essentially a given with 4.2. If you check battery stats, Google services are the generally the culprit.
As I've said PA 2.99 is beta software, and various bugs should be expected.

Haven't experienced any battery drain, but i agree it would depend on your user settings, etc.

Running the recently released nightly variant of CM 10.1 with Nova Launcher Prime.
Whenever the phone shuts off, Nova Launcher seems to forget where apps go in their folders. I'm noticing this is happening primarily with apps that are located in the "SD card".
Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Any fixes?
At this point I'm thinking it may be due to CM 10.1, and that I may have to go to a Sense ROM. To add to the Nova Launcher woes, I've also had several issues with significant lag and random reboots (both with unofficial CM variants and the recently released nightlies). Damn shame too, the phone absolutely FLIES on CM 10.1 when it's working properly (it smokes my Nexus 7 by a landslide).
Thanks for the help, guys.

I have the same problem and wish someone could answer. I'm using an SGS2 and the issue has happened both on CM 10.1 AND SuperNexus Rom [which I think has some elements of CM in it].
I can't figure out what triggers it. It's extremely annoying. I love Nova but it's making me want to change.
Hi,
I am talking about those cm-11-201312??-NIGHTLY-maguro.zip from: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=maguro&type=nightly
Maybe something is completely broken there?
Runs faster than CM10.2 stable?

gots it on my toro as of today. wanted to check out the screen record feature/app but cyanogen still says i dont have a device capable of running it lies
Running CM11 Nightly since 7 december.
Everything is working, its stable and smooth.
For my daily use it's ok.
Had only problems with auto-restore, solved with the right gapps package.
Try SlimKat
I tried the CM11 and wasn't impressed. Try the latest SlimKat Beta. I've been running SlimKat since their first Alpha release, and it has improved significantly over the past couple weeks. SlimKat Beta is updated to the latest Android 4.4.1 software which improved the camera's functionality. Only issue remains an occasional random reboot...maybe once per day, if that.

I've been running the nightlies since they became available and I've never had any problems. No reboots, graphic glitches etc.

Using the 1209 nightly, and the stability improved significantly compared to Euroskank's CM11 KitKang. That's all I can say, since performance stays largely the same.

I am running swordrune10's version for toro. I am having some trouble with the wifi switching, google backup/auto install apps on wipe and google play killing my battery but it runs great with art besides those issues.
I can say they work flawlessly. Huge improvement from 4.3, never had a crash / freeze, etc. It does lag a bit on received call, not a major issue for me though.
I've had wifi switching problems since 4.3 dropped. Its ok on CM11 but just barely
CM 11 nightlies since 12-6 have a major issues with LTE. Some users are either not getting it at all or having issues toggling between 3G and 4G in which 4G will not turn back on.
I have been using cm 11 since unofficial alphas and have had very minimal issues. I think the hand off issue fix was merged in the latest nightly as in the one you can flash tomorrow.
First of all, I bought a second Nexus 7 2012 3G recently.
It's at Android 4.4.4 which runs slowly and performed bad in Chrome, Facebook App, and even Settings.
It's unacceptable on such a quad-core device so I downgraded the device to Android 4.2.2.
It performed much better and no major lags in frequently used apps.
I've been search around xda and Google and only Tethering mod for 4.2 , 4.2.1 , 4.3 or Kitkat. So I made the mod for 4.2.2
Tested and works, but it SEEMS to have a side effect that made the Data Usage activity in the Settings App inaccessable.
The mod provided here is of pure Google and does not contains any other mods as shown in the screenshot.
No doubt, the LTE icon in the screenshot is fake and again this is for Nexus 7 2012. Do not use in 2013 version.
