Not likely. I believe that it is more hardware related for htc beats phones. However, if you want your phone to sound like beats might as well set up the bass on the equalizer way up.

Beats has been put in other older htc phones and cooked into some roms as well like the desire hd ect.

Yeap. Just as I suspected.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1253447
Its more of an souped-up equalizer. DSP manager should work equally well. Just a quick question. Are you using the default ear phones? Or really nice expensive ones.
One last thing, to answer your question. This would not be possible as the HTC music app requires sense dependent frameworks. Bottom line, we need a htc sense port first.

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew/knows a way to fully integrate my beats by dre headset functionality to my desire. The only button that works is the play/pause & pick-/hang-up.. I was hoping to be able to turn the volume up and down and etc too.
I'm using ICS for desire from sandvold and data++ hboot. My headset is a beats by dre pro hd.
Thanks in advance!

i dont think that the solo hd can be full integreted with the desire thats why i bought my ibeats for desire
Well I imagined that someone might have made a port of the beats by dre integration in some of the newer HTC phones and made that available for the Desire. But well, I guess that's not the case.

Not sure if its what ur looking for but go the play store and search Beats audio. Theres some kind of software for it u can download. Also the ROM RunnyMede AIO s/e supports beats by dre
Sent from my HTC Desire
I tried installing that piece of software from the market and it didn't really change anything except for the fact that the sound out of the headset is better.
What I was looking for was some sort of way to enable the controls on the headset cord. All I can do at this point is pause/resume music and pick up/hang up incoming phone calls.
The headset is still a beats by dre pro hd, but I am planning on buying a pair of beats by dre studio in the near future.

I need a mod which increases the loudness of the one by at least twice.. I no there is already a mod here.. But it doesn't suit my needs.. Is there any other mod I can use? Or probably any app? Thanks...

You could flash and try the boomsound mod or flash PureXaudio, it really does improve the sound and makes it louder.

boomsound mod? link?
greeetings
2 x's louder kiss your speakers good bye
I have an s2... Which has had its volume increased by quite a lot.. And its lowest is like the max I would get before flashing that mod.. It works perfectly fine.. No damage to the speakers.. And if that phone can handle it.. I am sure this one can surely do..

The Devs and app designers on here have a fairly good idea of the max levels of the boomsound speakers,as the speakers pass their optimal performance level, sound ehancements and audio boosting mods simply distort the speakers.....until they go POP, there was a mod being worked on a while ago, where we trialed different adjustments to various files to improve loudness and quality and tested multiple music players, recording sound level(db) output, the loudest music player, with greatest adjustment was PowerAmp, full version, dunno if this helps, just my offering
Ill have a look to see if the guy is still working on files, or whether or not its workable with the new updated 4.2 onwards
ok here's the thread, not been updated recently - but Justin hasnt got his phone sorted yet - have a little look HERE may be what your after or may help

Being a bit of an audiophile, I find it hard to use this phone on anything but a Sense/GPE ROM due to lack of the "Beats" EQ (Beats sounds more direct while everything else is too open). Would it be possible to port whatever libraries said EQ needs to an AOSP ROM? Awesomebeats and similar things don't seem to work on 4.3

That's one of the primary reasons why I'm on a gpe instead of other AOSP Roms. I hope it could be an option or something, cause frankly the speakers sound like crap without it :/

I found a mod for beats for all apps for the rezound ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587168&highlight=beats ) it might help in what to do or look for for the BEATS MOD
just thought i through it out there to see if it could be used for reference.
Have you tried viper4android? You have to use the fx version but I find it works fairly well.

Seen this but would rather see the mod baked into the Rom itself.

Most audio guys here (including me) hate beats. So it's funny seeing someone trying to get it back.
I prefer AOSP with a very slight PowerAmp EQ.

Too open.... Meaning too many settings, or needs a bit of compression?

It seems to me that there's a good amount of white noise, I'm not sure if this is what he is referring to though.
Sounds like lack of compression maybe.

Hmm.... I have never noticed that. Maybe because I keep my preamp so low.
I like beats for movies and you tube but hate it for power amp. I disable it when I use PA and use the built in srs and eq

Too open as in compression. Sound seems to "echo" around the speaker instead of being directed like it does with the beats EQ.

I like this one better. Doesn't slacker radio have more music also?
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
I installed this on my phone and I feel like the sound output via earbuds is distorted. I listened to one song via Milk and the same exact song via Google Music and the one on Milk sounded distorted and not good. The Bass was entirely too blown out. I don't know if it is a conflict with Boomsound or what, but via stock music player and via Google Music everything sounds awesome.

Great to hear. I have noticed this problem as well actually. I get this with certain tracks on both this and Pandora. I'll confess to being a bit of an audiophile (yes, also a bitrate snob), and every once in a while I will just have to banish a song from playing on a station.

You'll see the option buried in sounds. Of course I'm sure you already know you can't disable it. Only when headphones are plugged in you can.

Out of curiosity, if one were to enable the equalizer in Google Play Music app, does it conflict with BoomSound? Every time I enable the former, the sound changes pretty dramatically, even when I leave the EQ set to FLAT.

I never used the EQ in Google play music. I don't believe in it Viper, Boomsound and hk are the best.

But don't you think that the Boomsound over-emphasizes treble...like much more than a tad?
