do you think that this battery would work in the wfs link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-H...ultDomain_3&hash=item256597ed3d#ht_1615wt_927
wasnt sure but looks the same
Mayb but it is a 1200mah battery. Wildfire s's original is a 1350mah battery.even if it fits, you will lose battery life

I was a HD2 user, and both HD2 battery and Galaxy Nexus battery are 3.7V.
So I use two wire to connect the HD2 battery (+)sign and (-)sign to the Galaxy Nexus.
And it work.
Is there any module we can buy to just put the HD2 battery in use ?
Or Do you know how to make one ?

it works eh?... ill have to give it a try also. will have to make some sort of mod for it so a trip to Radio Shack will be in order. of course, would either have to leave battery cover off or "modify" it.
[EDIT] well, battery specs are slightly different:
G- Nexus: 3.7V 6.85Wh
HTC HD2: 3.7V 5.6Wh
so basically the battery will still work of course, it just won't last as long. but considering that the HD2 extended battery is 2400mAh compared to the GN's 2100mAh, it will still last a bit longer + the HD2 battery is only $8 online.

[EDIT 2] looks like the Droid Bionic is also 3.7V 5.6Wh and found 4000mAh batteries online for $12
Hello folks..
I have a HTC Desire CDMA and I bought a Extended battery (3500 mAh to be exact) and this battery lasts just about as long as my normal battery does. It is thick enough to be 3 of my regular batteries, and it is alot heavier, so i know it wasnt a scam, plus there was good reviews... but, The only difference that I get with this extended battery, is that it stays at 100% for about 3 hours, and then starts booming down the charts on battery level.. I mean, i normally have about 25% at the end of the day with this extended battery, but i figure that it should atleast last 2 days on a full charge.... with it being 3500 mAh.. I mean, wow... Can someone help me? Im using a trusted stable battery saving kernel and rom.. so I know that's not the problem..
bump.........?

Do you have a custom rom? Try to download SpareParts from the market and unplug the charger when it says "charged". For my Samsung i5500 and a cyanogen rom the phone says "charged" a lot of time before the real charge...i think that the batterystats file isn't calibrated on your new battery, and so it says charged before...if you have a custom rom i think it's useful (if not necessary) to do a battery ricalibration (i.e charge the phone until the 100% then wipe the battery stats via recovery and then let the phone discharge until the 0%)
I don't know if this will help you, i hope!
I think
When i go back home tomorrow and pick up my extended battery, i will try this. thanks.
edit: yes i have a custom rom. it's oxygen.
I want to buy another battery with higher maH for my Desire HD. So far I've been able to find 1500, 1600 and 1800 maH batteries. But do these really work better than stock battery? If there is one, please let me know the brand to go for. Thanks.
I am sorry for having this posted here. I should have done that in accessories. Sorry.

The batteries that are legit are the 1230mAh stock HTC replacement battery, 1230mAh OEM battery, 1300 Anker battery, 1500 MUGEN Power battery and some other trusted brand. Other than that are either fake or low quality built. You can also use the 1800mAh Sensation/Evo3D battery mod in the Accessories thread.
Mugen
Desire S • Fallout V2.0.0 • xda premium
some batteries can make power worse and system has his own capabilites and forcing it to use more power than it can iy will damage the power of ur device
ANKER 1600mah works great and much longer
I bought HTC Sensation Anker 1900mAh battery for my DHD and put it as explained here. My battery drain was very good i checked it is using Current Widget. Its was something between 3-8mA to minute drain with WIFI or data on.
I put my old original battery in my DHD because the Sensation battery gave me poor WIFI signal. Now when i check my battery drain it something between 10-14mA.
How it is possible? does the version of the battery effects on battery drain?

This question is a tricky one.. lets c if we can solve this one.shall we???
1. I dnt knw the relation between battery and wifi signal hvnt encountered one nor hv heard abt it before.
2. Seems like according to your question the extra wifi signal takes extra juice from ur old battery thts y the drain is high as compared to ur new battery with low wifi signal.
3. Yes battery lifetime can effect the battery drain. Plus DHD is only 1230mAh while the other one is 1700 mAh

Less signal results to more battery being used in the radios to try and pick up more signal, the capacities are very different, I would also imagine that your Desire HD battery is older

Hello, my old battery is not satisfying my needs anymore, so Im looking for a new one. I need much battery life, so Im curious is there a battery which last longer than a new genuine Htc desire battery ? I read that Anker are pretty good, but they are not making batteries for Htc desire.
why don't you just get another regular battery for the desire along with a desktop charger
so when your battery dies you can hotswap it for the charged battery thus doubling your battery life
I have done this and I believe it is the best option
