I want a detailed log of what is using the battery on my GSII, but spare parts keeps displaying an error message. If anyone has any other app(s) that might do this, or knows how to fix this. Please let me know.

Betterbatterystats in the market. Spare parts can't teas the battery stats in GB for some reason

I tried it, its not as neat as spare parts, and not worth that much money. Thanks for your input though.

As promised here are a few ways.
One is using root explorer. And the other is my preferred...find the app using "activities" with launcher pro and find the one you need.

What are the changes from 3.8.15?

don't really understand the point of this. It'll update on it's own and probably before you even install on yourself.

New version mainly allows you to Redeem Play Store gift cards which went live today. :good:
The only thing I had on which I recently turned off was update location automatically. Anything else I might be overlooking.

Google Now uses maps. So if you have it enabled, that could be why. Mine uses a little, but I do not use it much for commutes so that might be why it does not use much battery.

I had the same issue but keeping GPS off (when not needed) fixed it.

This is what my battery usage for maps looks like. It used to not drain this much. I haven't even turned on Google Now on a fresh ROM install.

What did the new Google now update on 12/13 bring?
Bath salts..
No I really don't know. Could just be a stability update.

LoL, I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, they did not change the log on store. I presume it was bug fixes based on last update. Everything is working great for me though.

Does this mean that i should change the kernel to get better battery ?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Dropbox is causing a high wakelock
If you are using a custom rom derived from stock, yes try stock rom with stock kernel
Seeing how your two highest kernel wakelocks are kind of hard to diagnose, i suggest you try a different kernel. The other wakelocks aren't big issues. Is your wifi signal weak?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
No wifi is good in my house and on all the roms I have had on my phone the wifi has been 24/7 without any problems.
Will change the kernel and see what happens.
I am using liquid cm 10.1

Ok used redphil kernel for a day now and battery life is so much better now.
