[Q] Evo AOSP MMS Server On Boost - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anybody knows if there is a way to change the MMS Server settings from Sprint to Boost on an AOSP ROM? I checked different threads but the majority of them talk about Sense ROM's. Don't see to much about AOSP. Any help will be appreciate it.

[Q] MMS Question for people running 2.3 Sense ROMs

EVO 2.2 Sense based ROMs don't obey the MMS size settings for incoming pictures. Regardless whatever setting you use, incoming pictures are always compressed down. The MMS settings only seem to apply for outgoing messages..
This wasn't an issue with the 2.1 Sense based ROMs. I'm just wondering is this also the case with the 2.3 ROMs?
For people that want to test this out, take note of the size and dimensions of the picture you send and try sending them to yourself: http://www.pixdrop.com/
Or try sending yourself a pic through whatever messager application you have. I'm curious what the results are.
Thanks in advance.
Am I the only one curious about this?

[Q] MetroPCS users and rom devs, question for you...

Can someone on the MetroPCS network compile a list of the roms that work with the listed web and mms scripts in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182 ?
It would be greatly appreciated if we could get them all in one central location, specifically in the above thread.
I would have posted this in the aforementioned thread, but I do not have enough posts required to do so.
Thank you for your time.
Im a noob but I've been having a great time flashing roms on my EVO which is on MetroPCS... The only Rom that has given me trouble is these new 3.0 sense hybrids which I can't seem to get mms working on no matter what I tried 3 different mms scripts that I downloaded from blodykillers post, but mms still want work... Can anybody help with this n make a fix for mms to work on a MetroPCS EVO with at least one of the new 3.0 sense based roms...

[Q] seeking: ROM with AOSP mail

Hey all,
So our work activesync server is a bit out of whack, and _only_ the AOSP e-mail client will work with it. So far, the only ROM I've found for the E4GT with AOSP e-mail is the "EPIC AOSP Experience" one. That's a good ROM, but I lose several features (4G, some icons are wrong, etc). It's smooth, but I would love to try Blazer, etc.
However, Blazer and other ROMS with the AOSP e-mail.zip don't seem to actually flash the e-mail app. Nothing changes from Blazer stock to Blazer + AOSP e-mail.
So. Does anyone
1) know of a ROM with AOSP e-mail?
2) know how to get the .zip to work on Blazer? I asked in the dev thread but no joy.
thanks.

[Q] CM10 LTE for other MNVO's

OK, I have Ting but this applies to Virgin Mobile, Boost and others too.
I have found tons of threads about how to change the MMS APN settings to get MMS working on other Sprint network based providers but I have not found anything about how to get LTE Working.
Do any ROM creators know what to edit on our SG3 running CM10 to use LTE?
Thanks,
Master K
Since the problem lies in the CM10 based roms, you may wanna try searching that forum for some pointers as it has been a hot issue with the rom... in the meantime here's the "fix" that's being tested currently for CM10 users. I've been running it for three days and not a single problem. Be sure to thank "detule" over in the CM10 forums for the flashable zip.

AOKP New Zealand MMS Not downloading?

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone else in (especially in New Zealand) is having trouble with AOKP/AOSP roms not downloading MMS?
I've been to my carrier and they did everything I did troubleshooting wise, deleting APNs and recreating them, copying em identically off another phone that has a stock sense ROM on it and tested - they send but will NOT receive/download no matter what.
If i flash my phone back to a Sense rom it works again!
I've tried CM10.1, IJC (Which i use ATM and absolutely love), SlimBean, and pabx's great AOSP but not one of them will receive/download MMS.
MIUI and other sense variations will though... Its really frustrating >.<
