Can someone on the MetroPCS network compile a list of the roms that work with the listed web and mms scripts in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182 ?
It would be greatly appreciated if we could get them all in one central location, specifically in the above thread.
I would have posted this in the aforementioned thread, but I do not have enough posts required to do so.
Thank you for your time.
Im a noob but I've been having a great time flashing roms on my EVO which is on MetroPCS... The only Rom that has given me trouble is these new 3.0 sense hybrids which I can't seem to get mms working on no matter what I tried 3 different mms scripts that I downloaded from blodykillers post, but mms still want work... Can anybody help with this n make a fix for mms to work on a MetroPCS EVO with at least one of the new 3.0 sense based roms...

First off let me say I have a HUGE appreciation for and the ROM developers and all the hard work you guys do, you are the the ppl that give us control of our phones.
After looking thru the various custom ROMs for the Evo, alot of information is given about what the given ROM has as part of its base, and that is very useful information. Is it possible to also add in the information what the given ROM has known issues with?? I know a few of the posts for ROMs do have some of that info, but there are alot of ROMS that only have info on what works, and not what does work. I find that the information of what tweaks you have added to your ROMs give us users, but I'd also like to know if you ROM has issues with say HDMI, or the video camera or Wifi or SMS/MMS. I know I would love to update to a ROM with a Sense 2.1/3.0 but many of them don't list what isn't working.
Just my $0.02
Does anybody knows if there is a way to change the MMS Server settings from Sprint to Boost on an AOSP ROM? I checked different threads but the majority of them talk about Sense ROM's. Don't see to much about AOSP. Any help will be appreciate it.

Well if you go to your fridge, you should find the pickle rom, or even the orange juice rom. I've heard they are the most stable.

Hmmmm.....
I think we can help....Click back on your browser, scroll down...and READ THE REST OF THIS FORUM FOR SENSE 3.5 ROMS. You obviously "no" how to post in the forums...surely you can figure out how to search.
That is mostly a matter of what hardware/ROM you are using. Different software behaves different ways depending on what hardware it's installed on. The easiest way to find out what's going to work for you is to experiment with a variety of ROMs. MikG works well for me. Just a suggestion for future burn prevention (getting flamed) post your questions over in the Q & A section. Development is usually reserved for active ROM development and how-to guides. You'll find people to be a bit more helpful with questions over in Q&A as well.

I am not a dev and therefore am not sure if this is possible with our SGSII, however I'm wondering if there is any way a dev could create a flashable zip that would allow us to have wifi calling like what comes with ICS on the sensation. I know some of the ICS ROM's with a t-mobile base do have wifi calling but it has the delay issue. I know this will probably solve itself once source is released but as a former HTC HD2 user, I came across a new wifi calling flashable zip for ics released by user tytung in which he included the latest ICS libs and the wifi calling app from the sensation. I am using that flashable zip on my HTC HD2 on an AOKP ROM right now and it works great. Anyways I know that a lot of people on here rely on wifi calling and feel as though a flashable zip with the wifi calling app, such as the one I have referenced below for the HD2 may be a great solution for many of us. This way even ROM's that aren't using a T-Mobile SGSII base could have wifi calling as a usable feature...such as AOKP, CM9, etc.

OK, I have Ting but this applies to Virgin Mobile, Boost and others too.
I have found tons of threads about how to change the MMS APN settings to get MMS working on other Sprint network based providers but I have not found anything about how to get LTE Working.
Do any ROM creators know what to edit on our SG3 running CM10 to use LTE?
Thanks,
Master K
Since the problem lies in the CM10 based roms, you may wanna try searching that forum for some pointers as it has been a hot issue with the rom... in the meantime here's the "fix" that's being tested currently for CM10 users. I've been running it for three days and not a single problem. Be sure to thank "detule" over in the CM10 forums for the flashable zip.
