Shouldn't be a problem. Just reflash clockwork mod from rom manager and it should fix it.

It might be that but it depends what clockwork your using. There's been a few bugs with 5.xxxx that a simple reflash will do. Like me I lost recovery image and couldn't flash roms or boot into recovery but I just reflashed clockwork and it worked fine

Help!!

I got the root part down. Even CMW is installed. No Roms are taking installation is aborted. Any Ideas???
What ROMs? What version of CWM? (I hope it's a 6.x.y.z.) Any more error messages?
As I so often say, "Need input!"

The rom installs but when reloading it takes me back to recovery.
Have you try downloading the recovery from cwm website and push it to your phone vie Odin?

CM10, then when I flashed a kernel it never booted again, and yes I could go to download mode,

Find a different cm10 compatible kernel and flash it through cwm or through Odin.

Have you tried going into recovery? Maybe there is still cwm? Since your flash back to stock seems to have been unsuccessful.

Just had a thought. It's easy to get stuck on boot when you flash back to stock without wiping.
If you can wipe it/factory reset that could solve you're problem.
And it'll boot up.
It's confusing cause it looks a lot like your phone not booting cause of the kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Yeah just take the battery out and get into android recovery by pressing volume up, power, and home button. Then wipe/factory reset and reboot system.
^^^^ just like the gentleman said. Reboot into recovery and factory reset it. It should boot up after that.

Recovery isn't there, any way I could do it from adb?
Sent from my HTC Ruby using xda app-developers app
If you can get into download mode, reflash the stock tar in Odin again or just flash the cwm or trwp recovery tar and reflash a different kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999
Here is a link to Odin-able recoveries that you can use. I also agree with the others that this is probably a mismatched ROM/Kernel that is preventing you from booting up. The only problem I foresee is that you Odin'd a stock image, so now you are not on CM10 anymore. Now you'll have to find a TW kernel that you can flash, like Morfic's or I think Ktoonez has one too. But you can ADB push the kernel to your SDcard so that when you flash the recovery above, you should be able to then go in and find your kernel and flash that.
What I suggest first is to Odin one of the recoveries (TWRP is what I use) and then once that is done, go in and Factory Reset and try to boot it up. If it works, great. If not, then you may need to move on to pushing a kernel and flashing that.
Volume up + Home + Power takes you to Recovery.
Have you tried that?

Tell people what worked so that it can be documented when it happens again and I can link them to something they didn't search for themselves.

TWRP v2.3.2.3 (11/28/12)

I am just re-posting this for simple reference purposes.
Tested and works for Sprint as well.
The only issue I have encountered is mounting does not work, but this is a known problem.
sk8erwitskil said:
so i have built a working twrp for the optimus g. everything is working great.
this has been confirmed to be working on att/sprint/rogers/telus devices.

How to install:
- you must be on an unlocked bootloader (use freegee)
- download the zip file and boot into recovery
- install TWRP-v2.3.2.3-LG-OptimusG-sk8erwitskil.zip
- enjoy
yes....everything is working fine in this recovery

Don't use compression while backing up. I had that issue and it broke my phone, I had to LGNPST back to stock, reroot, re-unlock, and re-flash TWRP.
Besides mounting, what other issues does it have. Seems like this is a better option than the clock work recovery
Is time issue fixed yet. I know it was when I left the s3

Okay, I'm not sure what you flashed with Odin. Download twrp and flash the recovery img in the past, with everything unchecked. Once you boot into recovery you have to flash the root file in the twrp root kit on that site.
