When I attempt to backup my SD card by copying all of its contents to my desktop I get an error near the end of copying that says that 4 files names are too long to be copied. And to manually change the name and copy. How can I copy my whole SD card over without getting these error messages?

So somehow, my microSD has compacted all the files into one huge corrupt file with characters that the computer doesn't recognize. Is there anyway to recover the files?
Is there any way to turn the file folders in the phone directory to write? I was try to move/copy a file from the sd card to the phone and I keep getting a copy error.
I am using a new SanDisk 32GB card and software version V20H. I downloaded some MP3 files using uTorrent. However, if I select to save the files to the SD card directly, uTorrent gives an error "cannot write to disk" after downloading 10-15%. But when I choose to save to the internal memory, everything downloads fine. So I downloaded them to the internal storage and used the File Manager app to transfer the files from the internal storage to the SD card. However, even that fails after 10-15%. What's going wrong? The card is 100% fine as I can install apps and save pics/videos to it.
I had a similar problem with a Samsung 32GB card - transferring a large file (~1GB) directly to the card using wifi file sharing would fail at some random point, but the same transfer to the internal memory always worked. Copying the file from internal to external SD card also worked. When I switched to another card (Samsung 64GB) the direct file transfer problem disappeared.

In my case even internal -> external is failing. The files are a collection of small mp3 music files. I don't even have a clue to what's going wrong!
I tried to delete the android folder in my sd card multiple time but I keep getting an error
Having SD card issues with certain apps, specifically titanium backup and astro file manager. When I try to bakup with titanium backup to the sd card, I get this message: "Batch Backup interrupted: Insufficient free storage space". When I try to copy something to my sd card with astro I get the message: "Device missing label Due to a bug in Android to be able to write to an SD card or usb the device must have a label. . . ."
I am able to backup with TiB using internal storage, and able to copy things to the sd card with the stock file manager.
I have tried unchecking the "mount namespace separation" option in supersu and did not work. I also added made sure to name the card on my laptop, as suggested by the Astro help message. Neither worked.
It has been the same on two g4s, with two different sd cards, one formated exfat and one fat32.
Is anyone able to use an sd card to backup TiB?
Using internal storage now but would rather use sd card because of the size of the backup.
