Trying to install mobile 6

Hi guys,
I have a new htc trinity, and i have a xda tool to install wm6.
But.. htc give me the following screen:

Doesn't it depend on the ROM he's trying to flash? I thought so too at first, but then I didn't see the Olipro behind the SPL...

I have run the utility tool n times but nothing, always the same screen.. as it is.. and the htp looses the usb connection.. of course...

The ROM you have is for a Wizard. Do not try to flash that!
You need one of the Trinity ROMs - you're in the right place!
With a Trinity ROM - it will go into bootloader mode (the coloured bars on the screen) and then you will see a progress% bar.
Once it gets to 100% - you have successfully flashed

Hi have finally tryed to upgrade trin... but...
I always get the 3 color screen...

I try to flash htc and it looses sinc with pc..
does someone have a idea?

Everytime I try it shows the 3 color mod, and ROMUpdateUtility looses sync... this happens after I say yes in htc to bootloader...
Is it dificult to unlock a network locked htc? if so I probably will stop trying..

No problem...
When RomUpdateUtility looses sync just close and reopen it, but DON'T TOUCH THE PHONE!!! Is absolutely normal!
Believe me, I flash almost once a week, and everytime I have your "problem", note brackets cause is not a problem...

yeah just restart the update... if you follow the guide and manually place your device in bootloader, you won't have this problem.

I need some help please
Somehow i lost root, and now every time i start revoked it hangs on ' waiting for root ', i tried many things to solve this problem.. full wipe,reflash rom,use revoked for linux, but still thw same problem
I also lost my '/system/bin/sh' directory.

I tried to flash 'RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.15.405.4_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_122704.exe'
but it couldn't find the phone... says 'make sure usb cable connected'
am using unbranded phone.

Can't you get into recovery at all? (Assuming you used unrevoked you should be able to).
Then I'd do a full wipe/reflash from there.

I full wiped and reflashed at least 3 times, but that didn't fix the broken root
i want someone to help me find the right RUU for my phone

try this one:
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.8_Radio_32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20_release_140022_signed.exe
you need a froyo.

1) Please post in the correct section first [Q&A, not DEV]
2) There's a selection of pre-rooted stock roms available via SEARCH at the top
3) Flash via renaming to update.zip and sticking on the root of your SD card
3a) If fails, name it pb99img.zip and do it via voldown+power

How you lost root rights and delete this directory? I think to you need Froyo release RUU

1-Oops.. i thought posting here is ok, because i saw many posts about bricked phones in this section.. sorry for that.

I think while trying to run .sh script that copy Hebrew/Arabic support files to system.

I can't find a working RUU
is it ok to use
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.10.405.2_R_Radio_32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_142828_signed.exe
or does it contain 0.93 HBoot?

The RUU can't find the Device without HTC Sync, and it must be the latest version.

follow this guide and flash a stock ROM again and flash Cyanogen MOD 6.1.3 and flash some other custom ROMs u wnt. i followed this guide and its working good fr me.

did your computer ever recognize your phone? Try re-installing HTC sync and go to where you have "ADB" installed and do: adb devices
ohh and that error comes from not making the gold card properly. when making your gold card, make sure your phone is in disk mode, not charge!

Radio S off but the issue still remaining

[Q] Stock A510e updating main version is older error

I'm currently running 2.35 on my WFS and I want to reflash my ROM because I have the dialler error and can't seem to fix it. The phone is unrooted, uneverything. It's stock. I tried updating with the RUU and get error 140. When I use the SD method I get the 'main version is older' error. Any tips?

becaue the hboot only update by RUU，your hboot1.080099 is very high，so you need found one hboot 1.080099 or even higher 1.090099 and flash it.

I get that error when I tried doing it. And I just checked my HBOOT version and it's 1.08.0000

ahh sorry. didn't realise I had to go through HTCDEV to update my bootloader. So my boot loader is now at 1.090099. I can't post this in simonsutiltiy thread(because I don't have 10 posts yet) but I'm getting stuck when it tries booting into recovery mode. The phone just goes to the red triangle and stops doing anything. I pulled that battery and it's still locked.
Do I even have to unlock it? Or can I just reflash the 2.13 rom?

Ok. New update and I could use some help. My bootloader is now unlocked and on 1.090099 on ROM 2.13. But I still can't update to ROM 2.14 or ref lash ROM 2.13. The RUU gives me the error 155. I went through USB fastboot but still the same error. Could anybody else help me?

You simply Unlock the Bootloader, and again reset HBoot using Supervision(I hope so), Then flash out the RUU file. But the only problm s it will be relocked again, then u need to proceed to unlock(if uy need to break rules) means>>>>>

i own an htc one x (international version ) (Tegra 3 ) ..and after reading some interesting articles about installing custom roms on the one x , i rooted it and put some rom , it was working perfectly , but i was not satisfied with the rom , so i downloaded a new rom and put it on the phone and installed the rom (some nexus rom) ... i booted the phone and it was stuck on the nexus logo and nothing else would happen , so i read some articles on the internet , one of them told me to reset the phone to factory setting , after doing that i've lost CWM Recovery , now all i can do is, get to Hboot or something like that., aND all i can see here is fastboot and recovery...(recovery crashes .. if i select recovery it shows me a htc logo and then it comes back to the bootloader :'( .... ) .. , I've tried everything , but it just wont work , i'm a noob , please help me fix my phone up ! here are a few details about my phone -

Try to flash the recovery.img using the command prompt:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

it tells me that the recovery is writing and then i get this error that says <remote:not allowed>

Do u have adb drives installed on your pc?

We are not here to SPOONFEED you ! If you search (yes there is a button for that) you find a lot of helpfull things
I suggest you go to the htcdev site and unlock it.
