How do you change the order of events? I.e. for sms text notification, I have 2 apps, 1 announces the name of the sender, the other gives multiple vibrates and then I get the sms notification tone. So how can I reverse what happens first? > tone/announce/multi vibrate ?

Can I change the Exchange app's Notification sound? It's currently linked to the sound set in the Menu > Sounds > Notification Sound. This bugs me, I used to be able to set the one from Exchange to something totally different!
Is this possible under the HTC Desire with GB?
FYI: Search didn't show anything on the Desire, only on the Desire HD which has a different version of Sense and thus more options on that.
I checked and should say no, there is only sound notification on/off.

I checked this myself and there doesn't appear to be an option! Strange..

Setting is in the alarm itself, where you choose alarm tone

Had I done this in would have been very late for work this morning as despite not being on silent my various alarms that I use every day decided not to make a sound. Luckily the power and noise of the vibrate was enough to awake me from my slumber.
I am wondering if this is an extension of the bug that stops the messaging app notifying me of text messages occasionally.

how do i change the sms/message tone?
Unfortunaly you can only change the Notification Sound which will be applied on the SMS/MMS as well.
Open messaging app. Hit menu then settings. Option to change tone is in there

Hello,
I want to use the option to reject a call with the default message. I use the ARHD 6.4 rom and the meteo screensaver. But because of the screensaver, the menu button is not working when receiving a call, I can use only the screen to reject or answer the call. If the screen is active and I receive a call, I can press the menu button and reject the call with the message.
Is there a way to disable the screensaver ? Any other solution?
Thanks.
Where did you install that screensaver from?

You mean the lock screen? I don't remember HTC Sense or ARHD having any sort of screen saver.

I am referring to this option - see file attached. Could be a lock screen, but is not the one with password or points...
Can't find a setting for it but when on the phone I get a single beep when a new mail arrives. How do you turn that off?
Which email app are you using? Go to the settings on app, not on Android.

native Xperia email. No settings that I can find on the client side or the android side.

You are missing my point. Notification is not set to make any noise. My ringtone is set to "none". When you are on the phone (on a call) and an email comes in, the phone makes a beep in your ear....a distinct short beep almost like a call waiting tone. This is the thing I am trying to get rid of.
