I've got some issue with SH not showing accounts in it's overview.
I'm going to try yours with SHP to see if that's also the case with SHP.

Please report the results of your testing as I love SHP and need it too.

XPKH2 ? ... mmh ... well, i'm not sure about this.
Thif firmware is different from the original XPKH2 (YouTube icon changed, new font type, new icon for "Sound&Vibration", etc...). All of the new aspects are mentioned on the new XPKH3. So: your firmware is really the "old" XPKH2 with SocialHubPremium implemented or it's the new XPKH3 with SHP?
Also I'm registering a lot of problem logging-in with my Samsung's account (as declared on the XPKH3)[This cause that I can't download any app from the market due to the lack of the "Password" box during the "logging"]

Seems there are issues with socialhub working as usual in this firmware. I activated socialhub premium in OXC csc for this firmware, it worked great throughout the first day. I later relashed to bada 1.2 in order to activate and extract Route 66 license. Now when I flashed back to the same bada 2.0 firmware with SHP, phone reboots each time I press on "Accounts". So boring. I finally flashed without SHP and phone is working excellently. No problems, so far so good.
Almost all apps that did not work in previous bada 2.0 firmware, now work in this one. Good, I am enjoying it. And Route 66 works great.

social hup premium works fine

It is XPKH2. Issue that the accounts aren't shown in accounts overview in SocialHub is also in Premium. I guess it's fixed in XPKH3 (read: I hope).
Logging in into SamsungApps works from First-Run-Wizard, haven't tried the other way, as it's known to fail.

True, SHP premium works fine. The trouble I discovered has to do with the Samsung Accounts. To avoid problems, don't sign in to the Samsung Accounts. Ignore it when you are prompted to sign in. Just click on "Done" instead of the "Continue". The only disadvantage of not signing in here is that you cannot download your old apps directly on the mobile (but you can from kies).
All in all, this present firmware has lots of bugs compared to previous ones. Only noticeable improvement is that lots of apps that worked in bada 1.2 now work in this firmware.

Is there an country where it works? I see this in every Firmware...
At the moment no chance to make it visible.
Best Regards
you could make it visible by changing customer.xml file. search for social hub tag and replace basic or basic plus to premium. after that you have to reinstall the preconfig of the region whoes customer.xml file was edited previously.
will that make the basic social hub to premium one? will this work here in the Philippines? please give us a detailed instructions. Thank you/
sorry for giving uncomplete info. actually i was not allowed to post two posts consicutively thats why i was not able to edit my previous post.
When you enable social hub by this method. it goes checking for samsung website and after 2-3 tries premium gets disabled and palringo comes back.
Although i was successfully blocked it by creating a new application using sdk. But my phone broke down due to some resion and i give a hault to this experiment. I had made some post regarding this in ipmart forum since at that time bada was not included in xda.
I've checked OXA CSC...
For all countries...
<SocialHubType>basic</SocialHubType>
Only KOR has:
<SocialHubType>basicplus</SocialHubType>
Strange, because I changed into String premium...
Is premium and basicplus the same?
Best Regards
in basicplus only push email option is available (i am not talking about exchange active sync but a real time push email) and the messanger remains old palringo but in premium, not only ypu get push email but also messangers for different client as you can see in your new modded fw.
what i have done is created a new dummy application using sdk named sevenIM and replaced its res folder content with the one in contents with 0rq06e23py. and run it as target release. after that using stune i have replaced exe file with one in 0rq06e23py. after that when i run the app on my phone i can see all the messanger but when i tap on them it did not proceed any further.

[Q] Route 66 in Bada 2.0.1 [XPKH1]

guys, has anyone paid a license for "Navigation" ? I can't find a "License Synchronization" option in the program, and wonder whether it's safe to pay or if it still is too early for such a payment.

Unfortunately, Route 66 does not sync paid license in bada 2.0.
In KG6 and KG7, it was a total zero. But in the current PH1, paid license for Safety Camera allows you to sync. But Navigation license does not sync. The maps in bada 2.0 is better than that of bada 1.2. 3D buildings are now free.
We still have to wait for further bada 2.0 beta firmwares (or maybe the official one in Sept) and hopefully the option to sync paid license will be available. Let's watch and pray.

Hi,
do you have licences like in the second capture?
yes, I do. But navigation still asks me to buy a license whenever I plan a route and attempt to start navigation.
--EDIT: Never mind, I got it working!!I apparently missed some files when copying. Thanks again!

Please can you simplify how you were able to activate your old license in bada 2.0.
I cannot find the file "product info" in the folder "Res".
What files did you copy from bada 1.2 Route 66 that activated Route 66 in bada 2.0?
Thanks.

will be enough to Copy one file from from old navigation location (1.2)
/SamsungNavigator/Data/Res/Extras/Europe.navd
to New Location
/SamsungLBS/Data/Res/Extras/

Doing as stated I was able to navigate. Though when you check "Navigation" in the menu, it still ask for license purchase. Simply ignore this menu, and navigate.
Thanks Raitis.
After few days of using Route 66 in bada 2.0, my observations are that lots need to be done to improve this navigation software compared to its bada 1.2 version.
In most cases, Route 66 in bada 2.0 will take you on a roundabout navigation, taking you round and round without an end destination. Even in routes you have travelled severally with same Route 66 in bada 1.2.
The is no option to change travel mode (Fastest or shortest) once you have started navigating. You are offered the choice before navigating. In bada 1.2, you can always change travel mode (even at the mid of the journey).
Colorschemes are unchangeable. I downloaded several colorschemes. Each time I changed to, example say color scheme A, the default colorscheme will still display. Change to B, or C, or D, etc, only the default colorScheme showed.
Maybe this will be solved when Route 66 in bada 2.0 will automatically sync your purchased license without us having to do "copy and paste" in order to activate.
For now, Route 66 in bada 2.0, just like the bada 2.0 itself, is all looks, good looks, plenty of new features, charming designs, but full of CHAOTIC FUNCTIONALITY.
Hi all,
Updated method that works fine for me: sorry it's in french.
http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/gsmgpspda/smartphone/unique-samsung-version-sujet_21066_733.htm#t712940
Yes, I confirm that the method above works perfectly
Please can you confirm that the "product info" is available in your bada 1.2 Route 66 file.
I cannot find that file in mine. See screenshot
Copying only the europe.navd works fine, but in most cases navigation is not correct. At times the Route 66 in bada 2.0 will take you on an infinite roundabout journey without end.
Please let's know where this "product info" is hidden, or possibly is only visible for customers who used a voucher/pin code (and not the Route 66 sync activation online).

update!
This the latest beta firmware of bada 2.0 for the Wave I & Wave II. Samsung has compiled both firmwares on Monday 8th August. Below you will find a short list with some things that has been changed or improved:
- New icon (Sound & vibrate) in the statusbar
- Better Graphics startup screen Chaton app
- Slightly changed keyboard
- New startup screen Twitter app
- Slightly changed Youtube icon (Menu)
- Faster scrolling through photos
- Voice output, you download German test voicefiles. With voice output your device can read incoming sms text messages, email and more. I haven’t test this feature at the moment.
- Can’t log into my Samsung account.
Problems:
With this firmware I faced for the first time some real problems, because it will crash on some (stranges) moments (mainly using the twitter app). I advice you to set the debug level on low, so you won’t get a blue screen with detailed crashlogs instead your device will reboot automatically.
For the ones who are using KIES for backups, I can advice you to backup only the contacts and sms text messaging. I won’t suggest to use a full backup, I’ve tried it 2 times but both times my device crashed and it got stuck into a reboot loop.
Overall I can say that the devices are a bit faster (snappier) but it also crashed often than before. Since this is just a beta firmware its normal that it crashed.
Once again I’m warning people that they should be aware of these things. If you want a stable 2.0 firmware you should wait till 2.0 is ready!!
- How to fix Samsung account problem...
There is a new Samsung Account login in this beta Firmware and it doesnt work, users cannot type in passwort and after klicking on logon bada crashes. But there is a workaround, so everyone can use the downloads in samsung apps.
At the first startup page to configure language time, and samsung account there is still the old login page.
You can trick the wave by removing your simcard starting the phone with it, then it forgets that it was already the first time started.
After that simply add your simcard and logon on the first startup page, after that you will not see in settings/accounts any account but you can use them as always.
Email accounts can be handeled over the settings/email and so on.
You will see Samsung Account over samsungapps.
Things I've seen already:
- much faster and smoother than before
- font much easier on the eyes (clearer)
- bootsplash black again (no blueish like in XPKH1) / dialogs still blue
- the 3 info pop-ups after first-run have been revamped
- several icons revamped
That's nice, but based on what I have read on the SamFirmware changelog, I decided to NOT flash my phone with this firmware, mainly because I don't particularly like (frequent) crashes....
I'll stick to XPKH1 for now...
20 more min of downloading (hotfile is piss slow as usual .. 100kb/s )
Then i'll flash as well

Not to burst your bubble but the others apparently also crash a lot ... i haven't experienced that in particular but i'm just saying.
He did mention its mainly in the new twitter app.... so normal use of the phone should be fine.

thanks for the clarification, nevertheless I rely on the twitter client... Anyway, I'm sure the next beta will have these problems fixed, and I feel safe enough with XPKH1...
thanks again!
what i want to know is does it installs all apps? is it worth the download?
Seems SocialHub - at least here - (changed CSC to DBT) doesn't show my set-up Facebook account, though it properly display the feed and posts status updates.
You'll see that it actually added the account by checking feeds or "add account" there facebook won't show up anymore (obviously).
More I noticed:
- phone faster reacts after boot
- you can't switch pages by swiping in the gap between the bottom two rows (on menu, not homescreen)
SamsungApps always tells me "network not available", also I can't see any string in it's UI.

oh man, DAP??? it kinda reminds me of... 2000/2001 times and stuff!
But you're right, Hotfile is very slow generally...I paid for a premium account some months ago, and had been cursing every moment after I did that... Filesonic works for me like a charm for months now.
I also noticed:
- CPU usage in "About phone" is shown in real-time now
It was always in real time.
Is it safe to flash this one ? All the people who flashed.... are they experiencing loads of crashes ?
as other 2.0,, once get into contact.. then to get back to main screen will be difficult ... few home touch needed

Its exactingly the same as all the others. Nothing visually changes at all in the versions it just becomes more stable and less crashes and faster
Other than that nothing ever changes.... just sayin

There are crashes as before. But I was able to restore my yesterday's backup (with Apps ) and some of the stuff worked from the backup. Apps, background, internet connection settings. I tlost however my bookmarks, the homescreen settings, accounts and the ringtones...
But the biggest selling point of this fw is the SPEED. It's much faster. The browser flies compared to the KH1.

App for importing Bookmarks, for those who like the Stock Browser!

Hi Guys
I've tried so many different browsers, in the hope i would find one as good as the stock samsung offering, only with the option of importing/syncing bookmarks, but every one seems to have a fatal flaw that means i always come back to Stock. I've also just tried the new Firefox Beta, but found the font really ugly, and so another challenger falls by the wayside.
Well it matters not anymore, for a splendid chap by the name of cb56 has developed a superb little app that lets you import .htm files. It works in the stock browser and even supports folders! I've just tested it and can confirm it works a treat. Here's a link to his thread here on xda:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1387858
I'm using the free version, but in order for it to work you need to change the permissions for /data/data/com.android.browser/databases/browser.db by checking all the 'Other' boxes.
Enjoy!
Just thought i'd post this in the hope it helps out others.

[Q] Chinese version of the Nokia 900

Hi everyone,
This is my first thread here (and also first post) so i want to say hello and also bring up a situation i have with my new mobile.
Its a "Nokia 900" i bought in China, Shanghai, at the Nokia retail store. Its nice because its unlocked. But it wasnt that cheap... it was cheaper if you compare the price in Brazil, where i live and where i'm using the device. Taxes here are insanely high.
So, the problem i have now is that this mobile is the chinese version. That means it doesnt come with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn set as default accounts. So i cant add facebook contacts for example and its totally killing the social appeal of wp.
If i try to add an account i'll find Weibo, QQ and Sohu, i dont even know whats that for but i believe its the chinese social networks. Since facebook, twitter and so are blocked in China...
Then i had a little research and found this forum. This specific thread is actualy my only hope: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605144
Now my plan is to use the nokia care suite and try to up/downgrade the firmware/rom so i can have a euro/american like device...
Some information about the versions:
OS version 7.10.8779.8
firmware rev 2175.2101.8779.12201
hardware rev 112.1914.2.0
radio sw 2.1.75.20
radio hw 8055
bootloader 7.17.2.0
And since i couldnt post on the development forum cos i'm noob, here is the question
Do you guys think it could work? is it worth a try?
i can use everything else on the phone, including the facebook and twitter apps. everything works fine but lacking some features. I can't get the facebook chat working under the message tile for example... also the people tile only have the windows live contacts so no pictures... not cool D:
well, thank you in advance for any information!
Try this first:
settings / region+language / system locale (Try English (United states).
Hope it works...

yea thanks for the repply but i've tryed this and it didnt worked out.
i even tried settings > email + account > add an account > other account / advanced setup and set the facebook domain with pw but it didnt worked also...
One reason I hate China is that they censor every goddamn social networking site.
Well, you could try flashing another ROM to it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605144
I got your PM, and I don't know for sure if it will work. I tried to flash the Rogers ROM to my ATT US Lumia and it would not flash. I was trying to take it from an RM-808 (ATT) to an RM-823 (Rogers). That evidentially does not work.
I think someone said that if the RM-??? number is the same, you can flash another ROM.
It's worth a try, but be aware that it might hurt your phone. I tried Rogers, and it simply gave me a message that it would not flash, but I cannot say for certain that another ROM will not do damage.
PS: I'm sorry I don't have better or more certain news.
this is going so damn wrong that i couldnt even know my phone RM model D:
i had my lesson, never buy mobile phone in china again....
