Help Needed Re: Unrooting - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I need help lads.
My Desire is suffering from the rebooting problem, so I thought I'd get it back to stock condition and get it fixed before the warranty runs out.
Ok, I need to unroot and restore the stock ROM on my HTC Desire.
I'm using an RUU from Shipped ROMs.It works fine until it gets to the radio part. The radio part is what is failing for some reason.
I get a message saying the radio part fails, but it's the same radio that is currently on my phone.
After I get the message about it failing, I get this come up on the white screen of the HBoot menu when I unplug the device.
For reference, this is what I get after the failed attempt.
BRAVO PVT1 SHIP S-ON

Just updated the first post with more information.
Is this fixable?
Can it be solved by sending it off to HTC? I am still within the two year warranty period.

Well if they replace whole motherboard in repair, broken radio doesn't matter. Propably it's a software problem and it will be overwritten. Of course if you want to try fixing the radio before getting it to recovery, you can root, s-off and try to flash another radio on fastboot.

bricked phone :(

I've already got a thread running in androidforums but I thought i'd try my luck here to.
i've tried flashing numerous stock ROMS using the .exe on shipped-roms and and have come to the conclusion my phone may be fubar'd
I have an o2 branded Desire and have tried 2 different ROMS
Currently my phone is in the current state :-

This is after trying to flash the froyo version for my phone.
I cannot get to a valid boot loader, the only option on my bootloader is RUU and it's not selectable.
It's on the wrong radio for a FroYo ROM, something's gone wrong...

[Q] Unroot - I can't get stock Hboot

Hello, I want to unroot my Desire because of warranty. When I flashed official RUU my phone still says AlphaRev Hboot and S-OFF. I don't know what should I do. I searched this forum but no results helped me...
Bootloader says this:
AlphaRev
BRAVO PVT3 SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-6.93.1002
MICROP-051d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-4.05.00.11

[4] BOOT - OK
[5] RECOVERY - OK
[6] SYSTEM - OK
[7] USERDATA - OK
[8] SPLASH1 - OK

Update Fail!
Thanks
EDIT: [6] System not failed but system is OK
....
in their newest releases, alpharev made hboot write-protected, so that users could restore to stock (to get any rom up and running for example) but not loose custom hboot S-OFF.
in order to go back to stock S-ON hboot, go to www.alpharev.nl and download BravoDowngrader.
flash it using fastboot and then run the RUU.exe
Ohhh, thank you so much! I don't know about Hboot locking. So, my problem is solved!

HOw many times a Phone can be flashed ?
i try but not work
your phone is not bricked, read this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275632
this helped me out when it happened to me.
The OP got a Radio-brick. And a Radio brick can only be fixed by HTC. So I am pretty sure we cannot help him.

how to solve this?
You got a radio brick = dead phone
They say you can try and run the RUU again and again because you might get lucky.
Check the troubleshooting guide on my sig to see if you have a chance of fixing it.
Otherwise you need to go to HTC.. or buy a new phone.
Maybe it's not too late. Like Stankyou said try to flash RUU again, and if doesn't work try to get s-off with revolutionary cause you can still enter bootloader. Then flash radio from fastboot.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
revolutionary doesn't work in this case... It needs a running system...
try couple of times ruu if no worky try freezer trick too, unfortunately you need to send it to htc

HTC G2 T-Mobile stuck on HTC screen

Hello there,
a friend tried to upgrade my HTC G2 T-Mobile phone and in the process, something happened and the phone wont boot completely anymore. It gets stuck at the HTC screen and wont load any further.
I read a few articles which suggested that I download some PC10IMG.zip file onto my memory card and boot the phone by holding the volume key and pressing power which I did. upon booting, this is what appeared on the phone:

Do not power off the device!
It actually gets stuck at the SYSTEM - Updating line forever.
Please, please and please again, someone help because I dont know jack about these stuff. I've been reading alot of stuff about ADB and Gingerbread and stuff, but I still dont get anything.
PLEASE HELP!
hopefully your ok, but you my want to log on to freenode for some real time help so you don't cause further damage. after the root process where you are is common as if you changed from ag2 hboot to a dz or whatever the system partition will change and it won't boot. all you would do at this point is flash a rom via recovery. but if you flash that pc10img then you may have restored the factory recovery and this may be more difficult.
so log onto freenode now so you can get some quick help

Thanks demkantor, haven't really used freenode before but will try. Thanks once again.
By the way it's possible that your phone is not True S-OFF, also you're using a SHIP hboot instead of an engineering, which might not let you update the partitions etc. I don't know much details on it but I'm using an engineering hboot as provided by the cyanogenmod unlocking/rooting guide.
