I posted about this couple of times in Virtuous forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16441969#post16441969 but did not get any answer. Red flags are useful and they are missing in my sense mail app. I just need the original HTC Sense Mail apk which has those flags. That's all I need. Googled and only found versions for other phones, none of them worked. Thanks in advance.
Founded a solution in Virtuous 2.0.0 forum. Thanks to monomer888:

Don't the red flags only appear with an Exchange account?

Oh yeah! I added exchange account by choosing POP/IMAP instead of Microsoft Exchange Activesync. Added it again through that option and the flags are there again. Thanks a lot! I feel stupid.

totally blown away by my desire, although, I still need to tick one more box.
I use my calendar a lot and utilise the busy/free option on windows mobile to mark entries as done. this functionality exists on google calendar but not on the android calendar.
can anyone offer any advice or suggest an alternative calendar that provides this ?

Try pure calendar grid. I use that. Maybe email the developer first. He gets back in good time.
thanks, given that a go but its just a widget that links into the existing calendar.
any other ideas ?

But it links to google calander.
yep, not disputing that. just need this one bit of functionality.
thought it would be widely used in android as its a standard part of google calendar itself.
just can't find the ability to use it on any apps.

Give the guy an email, maybe he can help.
I too have the same issue. I sync with Exchange via Activesync and it doesn't honour the free/busy option.
I use Vibrate During Meetings (VDM) which sets your phone onto vibrate during meetings. This has an option to only do this for appointments marked as "busy", but since the Desire calendar doesn't honour this setting it's no good to me.
I am on call for a week at a time, so put an appointment in my calendar for on call which is marked in Exchange as free. Unfortunately since the free setting doesn't propagate to the phone (by either HTC Sync or Activesync) the phone puts itself on vibrate for a week at a time.
I'd be interested in a solution if anyone finds one.
agreed.
can't believe that this functionality hasn't been considered in the android calendars.
this is probably not an issue to a lot of people but its key to my phone usage, especially after coming from winmob where this had been standard for years.

Hi, I was wondering is it possible to install the original Mail application from the Google Nexus S/One (like the mail app you would find on Stock Gingerbread) onto my Desire HD? HTC's mail app has some issues with Exchange, and every time I delete an E-Mail it just re-appears in the same folder. Thanks in advance.
Problem Solved - Changed the settings on my Hotmail account, should have checked there first.

When I was using Leedroid 2.3 Rom, there was an option for company directory which allowed me to find contact details of people within my company.
But I'm now using a sense 3.0 Rom and I can't find this option. Is it actually available?

Hey,
I'm looking for a gingerbread rom that has facebook calendar sync. I remember being on one that allowed it. But I don't remember which one and don't wanna try flash through each one to find it.

Virtuous 2.0 has it
Just checked my Virtuous 2.0 Calendar, and under the Menu -> More -> Calendars I see the facebook calendar as one of the ones I have.

That's a Sense feature. AOSP ROMs seem to not have it. Kinda sad. Maybe when Facebook hopefully updates the app to solve the Contact Sync policy issue with Google, they will add calendar support ? Fat chance, I know. But it's nice to dream

+1. Your best bet is to flash a Sense based ROM. I haven't seen any app (yet) that allows for your facebook calendar to be synced. If you do find one though (an app) let us know! As much of a fan as I am to Sense, I'm hooked on ICS at the moment and just waiting patiently for an ICS ROM with Sense 4.0 =)
Has anybody found a way to bypass exchange security policies for Sense Email in latest Sense 4.0?
Just moved from using TouchWiz email (that had policies bypassed), and I'm not sure if same hack is available for Sense email.
Thanks!

Enhanced email? Is that a separate app?
