Hey just want to know if anyone has heard anything about extended batteries, I would be very interested, I know its a bit early but you never know. Thanks.
Yeah I'm hoping for one that won't need a bigger back to it =/ wishful thinking perhaps

I'm interested too. Something in the 2500-3000 mah range would be pretty amazing. Innocell have not released anything for the Vibrant yet though. Sigh.

most if not all batteries that are rated more then OEM and are the same size, are actually even worse then OEM with lower rating....
and same for oversized batteries, if not OEM, then all ratings are bs. but of course it will give you anywhere from 30-40% more juice.
Last night I was reading something about Seido batteries, they claim to be 1750 but when you rip them apart, undernearth the fake 1750 badge that Seido puts on them, underneath is some kind of serial number or something that shows they are really 1300 batteries made by another company. Ouch
Just do a google search, the consipiracy should come up.

Yeah, check out nexus forum, those 1650-1750 batteries are really somewhere around 1300
Amzer has a 1600 mah battery on their site.

Wow, only 100MaH more? Not worth it, IMO.
Ya so far that is all I've seen hoping to see some better ones soon

Lol...if its under 2000, there really is no point to it.
Just wanted to see if anyone has seen any news of an extended battery yet? I could really use one with the amount time I spend on the phone.

Not yet Im still looking, I really could use one.
Carry another battery with you and you just double your juice nice and easy.

here's one from amzer, but I don't think a 1600mah will make a huge difference since ours is 1500mah? plus I don't know how good amzer batteries are, haven't really bought any third party batteries.
EDIT: oops nm someone already mentioned this battery, didn't see it
That's absolutely ridiculous how dishonest people can be about the MAH that's within the battery. Why lie? Create a price and sell them... people will buy. I am anxious for the 3500MAH that i had with my Nexus one. It last for 1 day and 2 hours (26 hours) even though it had that thick back replacement. I wouldn't mind making this phone a little thicker (preferable heavier) to make up for this cheap quality which compares to the nexus as a TOY! lol But I am in-love with this phone and soo need an extended batter. this batter slightly sucks. It's just ok.
Here are the results after several days of use, it seems to be very good..
It also includes 1.2h of gps use with screen off (endomondo)...
I'm consistantly getting at least 10-12 hours of heavy use with around 5 hours screen time with these babies, so yeah they're all good.
Shame the spider-foot back cases are better built. The Momax supplied ones feel really flimsy.
Also, Tids2k has had overheating problems with the Momax, maybe it's a bad batch as I've had nothing of the sort. Just someting to be aware of.
Would it be too much to ask for some pix of the actual case? Particularly I'm interested on this battery because of the stand included with the case, what has been the experience with the stand.
I'm currently using the Spiderfoot and the performance has been good so far.
Thanks guys
I'll try to make some pictures of the cover, but it is really HORRIBLE, I had the momax battery for the galaxy S, and the cover was fine (althought very bad quality).
This one seems better quality but very bad designed... too bulky!
Thanks I would really appreciate it, is it really that bad? Is the stand not worth it?
It can't be as ugly as the spider foot haha, even though I'm using it I have to say the phone kind of losses its appeal, however, the extra juice is worth it.

Just gotten it from HK.
Not really asthetically nice but functionally, this battery definitely extended by usage by another 40%!
This is more for power users who values usage more than looks
OMG, You made your slim&sexy phone pregnant .
You just couldn't resist it could you?
...that's uuuuugly!
Ya man,
It's Fugly, but at least I won't have to hunt for charger by afternoon
Awesome battery life ..... But it is so ugly >.<"
The E4GT has been out for 1.5 years now and I've googled around with no results. There's a battery case (name=power pack) for S2 but I don't think that'll fit since it's for the 4.2 inch version. Has anyone seen or heard of a third party making one for the E4GT?
You mean something like what the iPhone has?
It would be a great accessory to have for this phone. I've been thinking about something similar that I can use my spare battery for...

something like this
Honestly, I'd rather just have a bigger battery. At least that would give me the full benefit of the extra capacity, instead of keeping my phone out of deep sleep by "charging" it.
I've had the extended battery (3800mah), it's not worth it bro. The battery loses it's capacity after 5-6 months. The majority of the weight is towards the bottom of the phone.
Isnt there a powerskin case for it?
They don't support the E4GT. I don't think there's one to be quite honest, that's why I'm asking.
I can not find any reviews on this specific battery or hyperion vs mugen for the note 2. I am eye'ing the mugen 6400 due to the size and the cover, but is this deal too good to be true, or are they roughly the same in terms of quality?
Also, what's everyone's opinion on one of these batteries with that mugen 6400 battery cover? Thanks in advance for any help.

I was planning to buy it till I saw the whole text.. i like this thickness and dont want it to be thicker.. but hey 6400? Thats super. ..

Tempted even tho I had no intention of getting an extended battery
Does anyone have any experience with that exact battery though? It seems too good to be true. What makes that battery so cheap yet the Mugen so expensive?
There really is no reason why mugen is so expensive. Check this thread out and look at what I pointed out with the Mugen case.

How would you know that about the battery if it hasn't shipped yet?
I'm just saying there is no justification of why the battery and rear case is $100 when you can find alternative that have been out and reviewed. Not to mentioned the poor quality of the photo they provided showing the case not even fully connecting.

Do you happen to have any of those reviews? I can't find any no matter how hard i look.
And what about the battery i linked> Is it too good to be true?
Bumping since I'm just getting some vague answers but nothing else.
Again, is that deal too good to be true? That, and what battereis have been reviewed for the note 2? The phone just came out days ago, so how many extended batteries could there possibly be that can compete with ones similar to mugen? I found that hyperion one, but i can't find any reviews or opinions on it.
i've read reviews on numerous extended life batteries via amazon, most of which seem not bad at all really but im concerned about phone protection. The cases you must use with these batteries quite frankly look cheap, lending not much protection. I currently have ballistic maxx.
So, Is it worth it? Battery isnt bad now, but...you know... can never have too much!
I've tried some extended batteries on my S3. However I always end up going back to stock. Main reason is to keep my phone light and thin as possible. Besides the kernel tweaks I use give me good life. I do agree with some that look cheap though. Guess it comes down to preference.

Yes, very true. I enjoy the feel of the phone with the ballistic case now. Protection wise, its awesome. Now I've since moved to the MOAR rom and am seeing just as good, if not better life on battery. So, I think I should just stick with what my dad always told me, "If it ain't broke, dont fix it!"

The couple I tried said they were high capacity, they weren't, worse than stock, with no NFC.
message brought to you by my GalaxyS3
It comes down to what you really want. If you want to keep the Phone thin, then the Stock Battery. With the Tweaks from THIS thread you can get some fairly amazing Battery life. Now if you want to go Extended Capacity, then a lot of people are having great luck with the ZERO Lemon 7000mAh Battery. A bit thicker than an SGS3 with an OtterBox. Plus it is NFC capable. The same company also makes a Stock size Extra capacity that people are saying is good. Again NFC capable. But ultimately the choice is yours .

I just got my zero lemon yesterday. We went about 20hrs on 94 percent battery capacity. I was on the phone for 8 straight hrs used lots of data and screen time.

I have the official extended Samsung battery, its not that bad and will get you atleast 4 1/2 hours of screen time while also keeping your phone slim. I use rubber cases that slide over your phone and didn't have to buy a special case for this battery.
