I am having issues flashing the stock HTC kernel. I have the newest clockworkmod and it aborts installation because it uses a different script to flash the kernel. How do I get around this as I don't want to keep flashing my roms over and over anytime I want the stock Kernel? Any help would be appreciated.

Try flashing it from recovery.

That's what I was doing. I was trying to flash it from recovery and it kept giving me that error because of the newer version of clockworkmod. It appears that the stock kernel is not compatible with the newest version of clockwork mod

I think what he means is don't use Rom manager. Boot straight into recovery and do it all there.

Anyone got a clockwork 2.5 pb image. I upgraded to the newest one through rom manager before I discovered the issues. I got a flashable one but it reverts back when I reboot. So I got to flash it every time I use recovery.

Here you go.. hope it helps..
PS: its not a flashable file so extract it to use it..

So I've got ROM Manager, and I'm just curious since it doesn't have CWM Recovery for the Continuum, which Samsung phone should I choose?
Anyone of them cause they won't work. Cwm 3+ uses edify and we amend script. That's my understanding. I know we have used 3.0 before but for few things.

You need to update your recovery. Either use ROM manager or find the .img and flash a newer recovery through terminal emulator.

Hi folks,
so i have created boot animation enabler for our device
1.)Download CWM_CustomBootanimation_Enable.zip, CWM_CustomBootanimation_Disable.zip and bootanimation.zip and place them at your internal sdcard.
2.)Boot into CWM and Flash CWM_CustomBootanimation_Enable.zip
3.)Reboot system and open file manager with root acess such as root explorer
4.)Move bootanimation.zip to data/local and reboot
5.) Enjoy
Hit THANKS if this helps
flashed enabler through stock recovery but got "signature verification failed error". any idea how it can be fixed?
btw, zip file had to be placed on extsd, not intsd.
put in int sd and flash
