If you're on a custom rom, try going to manage apps - all - email - clear data

No, everything is back to normal. Thanks again for your help.
Seems as if Google has taken itself off my phone because all my contacts that were saved through Google are now gone.. and my gmail is no longer working
I just did the OTA update pushed this morning, but they disappeared before it
Anyone else have this happen? Thanks guys

That option is not there under sync.. I tried that first.
I did however try the Setup app.. when it gets to set up your google account it force closes every time..
Seems this is on Google's end?

Yeah.. but only the HTC gmail shows up.. no Google..
I read on some other forums that this has occurred a lot on different phones the past day. This seems all Google.
Google+ won't even work

FWIW, I'm not having any trouble syncing with Google, but I don't have a Google+ account.
If you have already rebooted, and even done a *228 and Option 1 to confirm programming, then knipp is probably right.
Market and Google apps were messed for me a couple days after the OTA Gingerbread update. Same thing happened to a couple other people. You need to factory reset.
My Google contacts disappeared after the last OTA..and I couldn't add an account... Factory reset is only thing that worked..
Sent from my ADR6350 using XDA App
Really? Ugh.. I don't wanna factory reset haha
Sent from my ADR6350 using XDA App
Well this blows. I havent lost any contacts but my phone seems very sluggish and some emails are not showing up. I restarted 2x and resynced my accts. Still nothing.
Will a factory reset cause me to lose all my contacts, pictures, apps, etc?!

It won't erase your pictures or anything else on your SD card. If your contacts are synced with Google, then they'll restore after you go through the setup again. Apps may be restored through Google, (not 100% sure if the stock rom does this), but you won't have your app data such as game saves, settings, etc.
Yea factory restore is kind of a pain. But it may help in the long run. It's always good to put a new OS on a clean system. Factory restore resolved my issues.

Factory restore should fix.

If I factory restore will it go back to 2.2 or 2.3.3?
I may be able to root..
Sent from my ADR6350 using XDA App
You will stay 2.3.3. If it were only that easy lol

What causes force closes on stock roms? How could one cause that to happen?
Thanks,
Cryous

I had to send my Dinc in due to a touch screen malfunction. Warranty replaced.

it could be corrupt data. try clearing the cache for the app that force closes via settings > manage applications.
I'm more so asking how to cause the issue the issue not how to fix it I guess. Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App

Reinstall a sense 3.0 rom over cm7 without wiping, then restore system data, pretty sure that would do it.
If ive helped you, please hit the damn thanks button!

ok... as long as your phone is rooted, it's easy to troubleshoot.
Hi guys, I am having a weird problem with my HTC one v. I am running a stock rom preloaded when I got the phone via contract. Haven't upgrade it or anything but just recently, I tried to watch videos on YouTube, and all the videos I attempted to watch said that it cannot be viewed!
Another thing is that whenever I try to launch the camera app, it just goes back to the home screen....... Anybody here having this issue or have any tips? Thanks!
