If you're on a custom rom, try going to manage apps - all - email - clear data

it could be corrupt data. try clearing the cache for the app that force closes via settings > manage applications.
I'm more so asking how to cause the issue the issue not how to fix it I guess. Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App

Reinstall a sense 3.0 rom over cm7 without wiping, then restore system data, pretty sure that would do it.
If ive helped you, please hit the damn thanks button!

On an unrooted phone, with stock rom. I'm trying to show something to my friend, but he wont let me root his phone
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
However XDA will open up, so as my browser but Words with friends won't work and the market of course isn't working I'm running SetDNS.
I tried disabling JD didn't do any good, tried disabling SetDNS no luck either. My phone has encountered this before.
I'm on CM7 with Seppuku 17.5 this just started happening during playing Words with friends mid game. And trust me its not a kernel issue it will happen on stock CM7 too.
Is this happening to any one you guys? TIA for help

Once in awhile I will get a connection error on CM7 but toggling Aitplane mode fixes it for me.

Didn't work for me I kept doing that and even uninstalled market updates, Nothing. I don't use download manager. And
Have toggled airplane mode on and off. Like I said its only the market. I'm still using wifi right now on XDA postin this.
Edit: Just cleared data from download manager still isn't working I tried rebooting, turning off and on. Also My date got reverted to jan. 1 2005?

Try turning off wifi, with 3G on, clear data in gmail, log in, sync, then clear data in the market and go to it. Hopefully that will refresh your market connection.

That means your in sync with google network you didn't happen to close out google services in running services? Cuz that would cause the green to go away

That update totally screwed my phone over.
I run a stock, rooted dinc 2. Last week the phone started hanging. I would turn it on and the clock was a couple of hours behind. Or, I would close an application and Sense would crash. Basically, something killing Sense randomly, and without that you can't do anything but power off and reboot.
I cleared the cache hoping that would help. No luck. Then I ran 'adb logcat' on it and noticed that Facebook was repeatedly trying to install a .jar and failing. This was burning my battery and crashing Sense.
I cleared Facebook's data and uninstalled it. Now, no problems for the last three days.
I deleted the sprint connection optimizer from my phone and am now getting download speeds of about 1Mbps whereas before I was getting 150-200Kbps. It might just be me but worth trying out if you are rooted.

And unlocked. You can't remove apps unless unlocked. Or you end up in a boot loop.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
I always remove it first thing on any ROM. Even on my GS3. It took up so much battery by itself by turning my wifi on and off and messing with my data.
So once rooted and bootloader unlocked would I just go to system/app and delete what? Is it the WiFiOffLoad.apk and the WiFiOffLoad.odex? Thanks

Has anyone tried it with a locked boot loader? I know removing Google and LG stuff causes Security error on boot, but I have frozen sprint apps no problem

Is there any merit to this? How is deleting C.O. making your download speeds faster?
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
Whether or not this works for anyone else or why it works for me is unknown. All I know is that before and after the deletion my download speeds increased. Whether or not it coincided with a network improvement that is causing my speed increase I don't know.
I have compared my results with a friend with the same phone but is completely stock and my download speeds are significantly more than his.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
Well it doesn't hurt to try. I'll check if it does anything to my speeds and report back.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
I'm not sure if it's a fluke but it does seem that I am getting better download speeds. Top 2 scores are with C.O. uninstalled and bottom 2 are with C.O. Installed. Maybe you are onto something. I'll perform more tests later on since there isn't sufficient data to prove this yet.
Edit: Before I tested with/without C.O, I updated the PRL. Both internal/external IPs were different. No speed changes were seen without updating PRL with/without C.O. I doubt removing C.O does anything to increase speeds.

If anything the connection optimizer is annoying and deleting it does clear up some resources.

I want to try this but I don't want to unlock again. Could I freeze the application? Or disable with autorun manager with no ill effects?
