I have a dinc 2, but the housing is messed up, can I buy a full housing assembly for the incredible s, since the only one for the dinc 2 I have found is $80, Im wondering if the incredible s housing would fit the dinc 2?

I'm fairly certain there are slight differences between the two. The Icredible 2 is slightly thicker and the camera bumps out a tad more.

Does the Inc2 use the same plugs for the charging port and other stuff like that? I'm on the dinc and I am deeply considering upgrading to the sequel before the 7th.

I can only assume you meant to compare with the Dinc as you mentioned that after the sentence using a comparison with nothing else I don't know what the Dinc has so maybe someone else can answer that part.
The I2 has a microUSB port for charging and data, and a 3.5mm audio/mic port.
Yea. Sorry if the question wasn't worded clearly. Lol. I was meaning to compare it to the original Inc.
The incredible 2 is both taller, wider, and thicker than the incredible. Not by a lot, but maybe enough that a dock wouldn't work. The microUSB is on the same side, so it is possible that if you have an extra tenth of an inch in your dock that it might work.
*Note: I never had a Dinc, the Dinc2 is my first HTC phone. I am going on comparing pictures and dimensions given by HTC.*
It's important to note that the usb port on the incredible 2 is flipped compared to the port on the original incredible. Have both in front of me and I just discovered this.
So a cradle/dock for the incredible 2 WILL NOT work with the original.

Hi. I just got a big scratch on the metal rim of my Galaxy SII. Can this be replaced and where can buy this original part?

This is essentially the hardest part to change on the phone, since there is adhesive between the screen and the metal rim back piece. There are videos on youtube that can provide you with the process, but this is typically related with cracked screens due to the fact that to remove the adhesive is a relatively rough task. Parts can be sourced on Ebay for around $20~30.
Does anyone know where I can find a quality OEM replacement glass for my dinc2? Cracked mine today, fortunately I didn't blow the LCD itself. Don't want to spend a lot if I can help it.

It doesn't come with any adhesive or tools though, you need to buy those separate.

I recently picked up a dinc on cl with a cracked digitizer for 10$ and it has the super amoled display. Is the LCD fuzed to the digitizer like the galaxy s phones? Or is it safe to replace?

Nope, they are separate but a real ***** to get apart.

Those are Super AMOLED screens. The technology pretty much requires them to be fused. Dinc is the old regular AMOLED or LCD, which have them separated.

I dropped my onex and managed to break the screen. I replaced it with a galaxy note 2 but I still love the onex and would like to salvage it for use with my second line.
Has anyone had any success with having the the onex screen repaired?

I dropped mine too and replaced the screen myself. If you have a little experience you won't find it difficult. Btw you can watch many how to videos on YouTube and find fairly cheap genuine replacements on eBay.

I never did it myself, there are several guides on YouTube but I think the most crucial step is ordering the right part ie screen+digitizer already put together and not one of those parts seperately.
most likely only your digitizer is broken, not the screen itself but it is rely hard to place a new digitizer yourself, a big chance of misalignment or capturing air or dust
I have ordered mine from ebay screen+digitizer together, i tryed first to detach the digitizer but i broke the lcd its almost imposible to do so...believe me im quite skillfull with electronics.
Replaced two broken touches + lcds in my service. No problems, but this is my work
I replaced the screened on my atrix with a so called genuine one from eBay but it scratched right up in a few days so I'm guessing it wasn't quite as genuine gorilla glass as the original.
