I recently picked up a dinc on cl with a cracked digitizer for 10$ and it has the super amoled display. Is the LCD fuzed to the digitizer like the galaxy s phones? Or is it safe to replace?

Nope, they are separate but a real ***** to get apart.

Those are Super AMOLED screens. The technology pretty much requires them to be fused. Dinc is the old regular AMOLED or LCD, which have them separated.

Does anyone know where I can find a quality OEM replacement glass for my dinc2? Cracked mine today, fortunately I didn't blow the LCD itself. Don't want to spend a lot if I can help it.

It doesn't come with any adhesive or tools though, you need to buy those separate.

Does it still turn on? How is the touch response ? Make sure you dont need to replace the lcd as well. May actually be easier to just buy a whole new housing complete with the front assembly and bezel. OG EVO parts are pretty cheap now and that way all you have to do is take the Motherboard and place it in the new housing.
Still works fully, just can't use screen aka glass. It literally is shattered.

make sure you will use a heat gun/at least dryer or you can damage the screen.
Amazon & or Ebay is your best bet cost wise. Easier access= Sprint Store
Were all the front parts the same ribbon style. My phone is the version 0004.

All the screen/digitizer are the same as far as I know. It's the LCD ribbons that are different (either narrow or wide). I just replaced both on my evo a few weeks back. I played 7 bucks for my digitizer and 15 to my LCD.

Hi all,
I have cracked the glass on my Marble White Note 2 and was wondering if I could replace this with a Titanium Gray Note 2 screen?
I can only find Titanium Gray to purchase in the UK.

Technically it will work. If you're fine with having a gray screen and a white back cover, go ahead and do it! Will the screen replacement come with a home button? You have to replace that too if you're coming from a white phone.
Replacing the screen is no easy task. If you're replacing the entire assembly, including the LCD, it's much simpler; but just the lens? It's laminated to the digitizer layer, the touch layer, and the LCD itself. You've very little chance of doing a quality replacement.
I broke my screen a couple of weeks ago. Very upset over it so I've looked into exactly what you're doing. I've settled for just putting a film protector over it and living with it for now.
Thank you both for replying and it is the whole lcd unit I will be replacing, and was unsure incase the white lcd was different to the gray and I can only get gray from a shop nearby.
And sorry to hear you have broken yours too, mine is very noticeable, but I use a flip cover so I don't have to look at it all the time

The digitizer is exactly what i need. The LCD is fine it's just the glass that's broken.
That's not a bad price for the link you posted. I'll see which way my sister would like to take. More than likely the cheaper one with just the digitizer lol.

The screen of LG G2 was built by OGS technology. The repairing of cracked digitizer is very difficult and you can damage LCD very simply. You can buy digitizer and LCD only without frame. It will be cheaper.

Everything looks HD and clear right? I was reading a description to one and it says the resolution was 800x480 and I'm like wait what? I thought G2 were full HD lol
I'm going to get the one linked here it says 1920x1080 and True HD IPS. I just don't want to be disappointed..
