running CM7 on the HTC desire.
As far as I can tell this is only recent. There are a handful of apps that are installed on my phone that dont seem to show up in the market app.
This seems to be a fairly common problem with the fix being - Settings - applications - all - find market - clear data.
Have tried this twice:
1) clearing the data then checking the market - no joy
2) clearing the data - reboot - check the market - no joy
Is this a known issue with CM7? Or is it relating to having apps moved to the SD card? (the app in question is google maps, although I'm sure there are a couple more just not showing up in the "my apps" section of the market.
Any help much appreciated.
Download Titanium Backup and you can find Market Doctor in it. That should do the job.

I have installed my Desire a few times, because there are so many nice roms to try.
On the last reinstall I found a folder "app" on the App2sd partition with all the .apk files. After the rom upgrade I copied this folder "app" from the pc (ubuntu) back to the normal partition on the sd card. I thought that this was a easy way to reinstall all my applications in a few seconds.
Now the apps works. but when I go to the market with the tab downloads they are not mentioned. Also update notifications of these apps will not work. Is there a way to register my apps in the market/update software ?
Titanium backup has "market doctor" add-on which should update market links. Unfortunately AFAIR this option is only available in "donated" version.
Download AppBrain from the market and when installed select "Manage my Apps" then select "Sync with AppBrain" then if there are any updates select "Perform Install".
The program itself acts as an alternative to the market.
Thanks for the answers. This will help.

Thanks.
Is AppBrain (or any other tool) capable to relink apps to their Android Market source ?
excellent post!
I was wondering why some apps were not showing updates when there were. Angry Bird being an example. Also installed AppBrain the other day and was curious what the Sync options was showing.
Makes sense now ta

Click to collapse
I use this too for a couple of random apps - but I also found if you re-download angry birds (it is available now) from the market place it will keep itself updated then
Of course, if you download from market ANY app, it will keep itself updated then...
What about if you install them from sd, as this topic refers to ?
I'm dealing with 200+ apks ...
Thnx
i changed to imui rom and some apps are not showing up in market. i did some searching and didnt find anything related to by dinc. please help!
Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All - scroll to Market.
Clear the data and clear the cache.
Back to Home, run Android Market however you usuallly do. It should act just like you have never run it and ask you to connect it to the proper GMail account.
Assuming you connect it to the same account you have always used, it should work again and the only thing lost is the search history.
I tried that and it didn't work. I am trying to download angrybirds. But it still does show it.
What apps shouldn't load when I boot my phone?
And what's a good app to control the startup of different apps?
For example:
I have the following apps that startup with my phone:
- "news & weather" (which I don't even use, ever)
- titanium backup
- google search
- gallery
- market
Why are these apps running even before I need them? Would there be a change in preformance/battery if I stop them from starting up with the system?
Grtz
My market is not showing my apps its go to a white screen and said (your apps that you downloaded will be here)
I've deleted the market updates ,I also logged out of my Gmail account to see if that would fix but no it doesn't
Anyone know what I should do?
Two things
1st - Clear the data and cache from the market app in settings.
2nd - If that doesn't work, search for the market .apk file on here, drop it on your phones, untick "unknown sources" option and reinstall it.
Good luck
I tried that and still nothing this is BS
When I click, Accept & Download when trying to install an app from the phone, I get, "Error processing purchase". This happens on free apps & paid, I tested.
Also, if I'm on the web version of Play Store, and select install, nothing happens.
Any suggestions?
Have you tried clearing app cache and data?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
No, I read some stuff about that, but not sure how to go about doing this?
Settings - apps - Google play - make sure everything is clear.

Found the settings, but still having issue.
There are a few different things you can try:
1. Clear cache/data on just Downloads + Download Manager.
2. Clear cache/data on just Google Play Store.
3. Clear cache/data on Play Store + Downloads + Download Manager.
4. Uninstall Play Store updates.
5. Wait a few days (sometimes if it's on the server side things just need to timeout and then they'll work again).
If those fail there is one other I stumbled upon when I was getting Error -101 trying to download/update apps (I also had incorrect Installed Apps numbers showing) after the IMM76I update:
6. Remove your Google account from Accounts & Sync. Readded and everything should show up and work again!
That even fixed a FC I was getting from gapps related to Browser Sync. Worth a shot! Good luck!
If I select Uninstall Updates, it seems to uninstall Google Play. Is there a download to get it back?
Nevermind, I see what the deal is,
uninstalling the market actualizations and leting it update again solved the proble for me
