Google Play - Cannot install Apps "Error processing purchase" - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

When I click, Accept & Download when trying to install an app from the phone, I get, "Error processing purchase". This happens on free apps & paid, I tested.
Also, if I'm on the web version of Play Store, and select install, nothing happens.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried clearing app cache and data?

No, I read some stuff about that, but not sure how to go about doing this?

Settings - apps - Google play - make sure everything is clear.

Found the settings, but still having issue.

There are a few different things you can try:
1. Clear cache/data on just Downloads + Download Manager.
2. Clear cache/data on just Google Play Store.
3. Clear cache/data on Play Store + Downloads + Download Manager.
4. Uninstall Play Store updates.
5. Wait a few days (sometimes if it's on the server side things just need to timeout and then they'll work again).
If those fail there is one other I stumbled upon when I was getting Error -101 trying to download/update apps (I also had incorrect Installed Apps numbers showing) after the IMM76I update:
6. Remove your Google account from Accounts & Sync. Readded and everything should show up and work again!
That even fixed a FC I was getting from gapps related to Browser Sync. Worth a shot! Good luck!

If I select Uninstall Updates, it seems to uninstall Google Play. Is there a download to get it back?

Nevermind, I see what the deal is,

uninstalling the market actualizations and leting it update again solved the proble for me

[Q] market issues

My market is not showing my apps its go to a white screen and said (your apps that you downloaded will be here)
I've deleted the market updates ,I also logged out of my Gmail account to see if that would fix but no it doesn't
Anyone know what I should do?
Two things
1st - Clear the data and cache from the market app in settings.
2nd - If that doesn't work, search for the market .apk file on here, drop it on your phones, untick "unknown sources" option and reinstall it.
Good luck
I tried that and still nothing this is BS

Google Play Error DF-BPA-13

I flashed my Rom and Loaded Google Play using directions from some earlier posts. Once I got in I was able to open Google Play and create an account. From there I started looking at apps but each time i try to download an app I get the following error.
Error processing purchase [DF-BPA-13]
Bear in mind these are all free apps.
Go to Settings > Apps to clear data and cache and see if that helps.

That sucks man. I did a little digging and their project has a site on googlecode: https://code.google.com/p/ebookdroid/downloads/detail?name=ebookdroid-1.6.6.apk
Sounds like you may have gotten a bad playstore apk... have you tried this?
Go to Settings
Select Applications ->Manage Applications or Apps
Select All (Look for ALL on top menu or swipe to the right to get to ALL)
Select Google Play Store
Tap Force Stop and tap Uninstall updates.
Go back to All and select Google Services Framework.
Select Clear Data.
Turn off (shut down) your device and turn it back on.
Open Play Store and see if you can log into your account and download apps again.

Well if you uninstall your updates/clear cache/ and re login you will not loose any apps. It would just force your tab to download whatever apps have failed, and request new info from google (hopefully clearing your errors). From what I have seen, that 497 error has been happening a lot lately and when it does it fails on all downloads. Let me know if you try it, and what your results are. I am curious...

[Q] Google Play Store installation problem

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace S5380i running on android 2.3.6. I have already rooted my mobile and transferred most of the applications on SD card to clear some internal space. I actually also deleted Google Play services, Google Play Books and Gmail as I am not using them. All other apps I re-installed such as Google Maps are OK apart from Google Play Store. It was initially showing No connection Retry.
I tried some methods posted on the website but nothing works. I tried clearing data and force-stopping the app, then reboot but after a while the app crashed when I tried downloading an application. I got this message: "The application Google Play Store (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
I wiped also cache through the system reboot but I had the same problem but also sth strange happened, Google Play Books app re-appeared in my menu.
I tried also deleting hosts.txt from \system\etc folder and even editing it as suggested (There was only one line on my hosts.txt: 127.0.0.1 localhost):
127.0.0.1 localhost
#74.125.93.113 android.clients.google.com
but I had the same problem after a while.
I finally tried changing my Google account password and this helped only for a little bit as I got the same message. I get this message even when I am trying to download an app from the web version of Google play.
Can somebody help me please? Any ideas?

Play Store needs the Google Play services (GMS) & Google Services Framework (GSF)!
You deleted them, so its your own fault.
Reinstall Play Services should fix it.
restore stock rom using odin and dont delete the files madron said and you should be good to go!
Problem solved

I didn't uninstall GSF, just GPS. However I found the solution to my problem. I downloaded GAPPS and flashed them, thus removed previous installation of Google Play Store and the rest of gapps. Immediately after rebooting my mobile, it started looking for updates. I uninstalled again the Google Play Services and everything works fine just to free some more space. The only difference is now that Google Play Store is installed in the internal phone memory and I don't intend to move it to the SD card again.

TIP: if you struggle with memory problem then you can move some essential apps like Google Play Store, G Maps, YouTube etc.
Just when you update an app from Play Store, lets say you update G Maps, you got 2 Google Maps in your device that lack your memory.
The first one Google Maps is in your system by the Rom and the second one is in your Root "Data/App/" (which is your Internal Memory).
So I suggest you to move all essential apps from Data/App to System/App and remove old apps which are outdated in your system. After that reboot and enjoy with your free memory.
Whatsapp will not work on my galaxy ace, it is in a perpetual loop asking if it can backup to google drive via my gmail account. I repeatedly answer yes, but then it asks me to install Google Play Store. I thought GPS was installed - checked applications and yes it is. I try to "skip" this step as this is an option, but just go round in a perpetual loop with whatsapp. I have uninstalled and reinstalled whatsapp - several times now for it to repeatedly ask for me to install Google Play Store. In desperation, I have just uninstalled GPS, and am now trying to re-install it.
I keep getting messages that "this browser is no longer supported" and a link to "Google Play Store app" which fails and connection times out every single time. What do I do? (Step by step instructions required!)

Google sync error, app update and download failure

Hey guys,
After the latest update, I have been getting Google sync error, and then there's the play store error where I cannot download apps.
Sync and app downloads happen at their own time and have tried from clearing playstore services cache to resetting the phone to factory settings.
Hard reset works but the issue returns. Does anyone else have this issue? Please do comment
Update: Tapzo was the culprit app, deleted it and cleared the cache. Restarted the phone and everything works fine.
Check for high ad serving and invasive apps, delete them one by one, cleaning play store cache and restarting the phone each time. Once the app that's causing issues is deleted everything should work fine.
Huawei might fix this in an update if all of us effected complain.
With L09 -B432-C183 I have the problem synonymous. Despite new installation and factory reset
Deleted Tapzo and cleaned cache off of play store and play services. Everything seems to be working including google sync(manual) and app updates and downloads, but still under observation.
delete apps that have more ads and seek more access to your information ie., gallery, contacts etc.... delete one by one and each time clear cache and restart, some app will be causing the problem and once you find that app everything will be back to normal
This might help:
Go to settings - Advance settings - Backup and Reset- Network settings reset
Should resume downloads.
I had similar issue. Truecaller app was an issue. Uninstalling and rebooting helps but issue will be back as soon as I install Truecaller app.
Temporary solution after lots of logs sent to R&D team.
Go to Settings- battery - lock screen clean up.
Untick all apps (Close all option must be greyed out).
Switch on Airplane Mode for 15 seconds . Turn it off.
Turn on WiFi and downloads should resume automatically .
Have you tried clearing the Cache files in the internal Storage and rebooting your device?
Only if I had seen this earlier.
I have been having this for a long time. Lost a bunch of pictures after doing a hard resets.
Finally this heped. Thanks!
If you use Truecaller either uninstall it or give all permission and also secondary app launch, trust app etc.
Once you download anything from olay store if it gets stuck, just open Truecaller and play store will start downloading.
