Is there a galaxy s3 rom for t989

Hi there i want to know if there is a rom that has the galaxy s3 features. If there is can anyone post a link for the rom. Thanks really appreciate it

None.
But you can extract launcher from leaked sg3 and push it to your sg2. Not sure if the launcher supports gb but I'm on ics and I love it so far.

Go here and download the file

Extract the files from system and lib folder and Unzip and push to system/lib and system/app and change the permission to rw-r-r (only for the apk not the lib file)
restart, now you should have the new launcher.
make sure to backup before you do anything this will save you time if something went wrong.

Stock is not zip its QMG file format .

i can't found it, I only see the "how to unlock the bootanimation" but i haven't note 2 i would to port the animation from note 2 to my phone

HERE is a video of the boot i would find....i found only in orginal samsung format but i need a bootanimation.zip

So you want it in a flash able format?
You will need to replace the respective files and set permissions.
Making a flash able zip would be harder.

How do I extract stock kernel from a ROM?

Trying to extract the stock gnex 4.2.1 kernel jop40g from jellyb tsm build17 ROM because I really can't find a zip for it anywhere can anyone help me identify the kernel. Not sure which boot.IMG file it is, there are a few. Thanks

There's only one boot.img inside a recovery-flash-ready ROM zip.

No there's a boot.IMG file by itself not in a folder, then theres a kernel folder with an mkbootimg, mkbootimg.sh, and unpackbootimg
Do I have to extract them all and compress them into one zip or do I just need one of them? I've searched a lot of threads and couldn't find anything that was specific enough to help.

mkbootimg/mkbootimg.sh and unpackbootimg are there most likely to unpack your current ramdisk

Stock Shutdown Animation

To replace your shutdown animation on your custom rom...
If you want to replace shutdown animation for stock animation:
navigate to /system/media/video/shutdown and replace/overwrite "shutdown.qmg"
(extract shutdown.qmg from rar file)
