I have leeDroid 3.2 (sense removed)
and leeDroid recommended radio
Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2
I have a very weak gps signal , it is never able to get my location. However if i turn wifi on , it gives a better location , but with mobile data on it gives my location in some other neighbourhood.
I have replaced ntp server in gps.conf
Im from Pakistan.
I have also tried Gps Status app to reset AData
None of the above worked.
Any help ?

Hello,
You are suggested to test your GPS on other roms such as Revolution HD or an updated stock rom.
Test on a ROM which needs different radio version , as the radio is controlling hardware behavioure.

I flashed CM7 RC 1 and 3 but my GPS does not work at all. I have tried with Google Maps and GPS test but got no result, my GPS is dead....
I have a HTC Desire HD with:
Baseband 12.28e.60.140fP_ 26.04.02.17_M2
Kernel 2.6.32.28-cyanogenmod-gb17f070 android at giulio - desktop#1

I installed cyanogenmod 6.1.3 and GPS works great..... I was thinking that the problem may have been the radio but the same radio with the 6.1.3 works great, so I guess something wrong in the ROM CM7

Update your radio to the latest radio and it should work fine
SOLVED - GPS Problem with CM7
Last night I flashed Build # 6 of the RC1 and everything now works fine.....
which radio are we talking about? link?
You could try FasterFix from the Market. It should help.
You could also try to flash the Radio which the Devs recommend.

GPS status says I have 2 fixed satellites and fixes on them within seconds. Google maps cannot find my location when only gps is enabled. HTC desire hd cm7 rc4.

For my Desire HD a Speck case killed the GPS signal. Remove the case, GPS is fine???? A problem like this could mask a lot of suspected software problems since who would suspect the case?
I ve tried one or Two Roms but they all seem to have Problems getting a GPS fix

Can you tell me how to push this file like it mentions in the post.
Have been having problems with GPS since CM7 stable, never had problems with it before.

Could be just the rom. I know that some roms don't work properly for everyone. Just keep trying roms and if they all fail, then check to see if your GPS is actually working properly.
GPS is fine on InsertCoin A2SD V29
Using Ginger Villain 2.3 in combination with radio 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08 and HTC-Ril_2.2.1.1003G no problem with the GPS.
I had a problem with GPS freeze but tried some different radios and get a fix in 30 seconds....
I think ALL Gingerbread ROM has a working GPS..I've tried a lot of ROM and it always works.

Radio works great for the last few days.
Today I flashed radio-RIL_2.2.1003G and so far so good.
My data plan does not work with ril 2.2.1003 went back to 2.2.0028 and data works fine

I can just say that for now battery life is excellent ...39h - on 61% with "normal" use. GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth and data works ok.
P.S. I'm on MIUI 1.5.6 rom
No poblem here ... I'm on RcMix S 1.4 .
There is no newer RIL coming from Desire , there are several from Desire HD and S , didn't tried them .
All looking good here, Telus Desire, Reflex S 1.9.9.9 Lite

So if I just installed the latest CM7 (7.0.3), will installing a later radio improve anything? I dunno what version comes with CM7 but the call quality is pretty crap, although I think thats just the area I live in.
My current radio version is 5.11.05.27.

Got the fastest Speedtest result I've ever had. Seems to be functioning well.

I originally had LeeDriod ROM on my Desire which worked well, and WiFi was always showing 3 bars (full) when at home. Now I've tried Oxygen and Gingervillian, which I like but only get 1 or 2 bars on WiFi at best (Oxygen seems to be the worst though I like the ROM.
I'm currently on MIUI ROM but only get 2 bars max. Does this mean that I should change my Radio? I'm confused by radios and wouldn't know what to change to if this is what I need to do.
My current radio is 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2
Any suggestions please?

EDIT: Found the answer to this now
After flashing Blackout 3.1.0 i had none or very bad connection to the mobile network. I tried a lot of different ideas but it didn't worked. Mobile Network on Blackout 3.0.0 and ARHD 6.3.2 just worked fine on the same place.
Then i decided to update my radio from 26.03.02.26 to 26.17.14.11 (newest one jet).

Now it acutally works. Maybe this helps anyone
But the RIL in the post above seems to be incompatible. I didn't found an compatible one for 26.17.14.11. Do i need one? Or is it integrated in Blackout 3.1.0? Network seems to be a bit slower ^^
It most likely has nothing to do with the radio. Anyhow, you don't need RIL. Just use the one with the ROM.

If you want Android 4 on your phone , use JellyTime , It's a 4.1.1 (JellyBean) and it's very smooth .... The best Rom up to now
