THIS IS STRICTLY FOR SPRINT TAB ONLY.
Here is all the step you need to get your tab updated to Gingerbread. Thanks to ZoinksS2k for the guide and pvtjoker42 for the file.
First you have to have stock EB28 on the tab. If not follow these steps:
Download the E24 flasher
Find a copy of Odin (1.3 worked for me)
Extract the flasher, look in \Models\Binary, strip the .MD5 extension from the file SPH-P100.EA24.SECURE.REV07-FULL_CL871413.tar.md5
Load Odin
Connect device via USB
Reboot into recovery (power off, hold power and down volume keys or do a "adb reboot download")
Select the newly renamed .TAR file in the PDA slot in Odin
Select start (flashing should commence)
Boot, then you will be prompt for EB28 update, allow the EB28 update to complete
Then follow these step to update to Gingerbread:
Download the Gingerbread update (Special thanks to pvtjoker42 for this. Source)
Copy the update_from_EB28_to_EF17.zip file to the root of your SD card, rename it to update.zip
Reboot into recovery (power off, hold power and up volume keys or do a "adb reboot recovery")
Use volume rocker to select apply update.zip (or whatever)
Touch the home button to select
NOTE: If you got stuck during the update, try to reformat the sd card with your tab or use a different one, then try again
Warning: You will lose root on the tab, and there is not a solution to root Gingerbread yet...
Enjoy!
Downloaded, renamed and flashing using the recovery.
Now I'm at a screen with little android with triangle with ! sign..
is this normal?
Hold in power for like 20 seconds (power off), then power on like usual.
Boot normal? Yeah!
Stuck at samsung logo? Bad flash. Return to step one.
i am also stuck at the screen with the android guy and the triangle

I had to reformat the SD card on the tab itself and then try the update.zip in recovery. Don't reformat the card via windows, that didn't work for me.
I posted this in the GB update thread as well.....
Can someone pull a nandroid, and a roto for me of the sprint gb stock after install, pm me and ill give you an ftp account to upload it.
Make sure....for the love of god, please remove your personal data first.
I could use a clean system dump to start on some roms in gb.

Do a Factory reset before you do a nandroid or a roto. That way no personal data will be there before you send it to Oldmacnut

Sorry for the noob question but can you instruct how to do this? Would save me sometimes researching. Thanks
Thanks! I was spamming the update firmware button and getting nothing. i knew someone on XDA would have my back. That's why i love this community!
I dont have root or cwm. Everything installed fine. The only possible issue I see that wasnt happening with ea24 and eb28 is the battery isnt charging when connected to a computer. There is a red X in the battery. Before, this happened when I had cwm 3000 on with eb28. When I flashed back to complete stock and only rooted, it started charging through usb like it used to. Can anyone say if they are experiencing this also? I am thinking something is not right here.
Update
Hey darkpal, its oldmacnut not oldmacunt. Lol
To my knowledge the Tab will NOT charge via computer USB. It has to be plugged in to the stock power adapter. Something about the voltage or amperage (I don't remember which) is too low from a pc USB port. It will run off the USB without draining the battery, but it will not charge.
im assuming someone is working on the root? :]

It was charging fine via USB in Froyo builds EA24 and EB28, so this must be some kernel issue with EF17. We should report this to Sprint and Samsung (and Google?) as an issue.

Google patched the Gingerbreak exploit so we'll most likely only see root once there is a custom kernel. Hopefully we'll see that soon..

Speaking of custom kernels, are there any developers working on that? Kernel sources for Sprint Tab were released by Sprint/Samsung last week, but I haven't seen any interest on XDA.
IMO... Tab looks the same as before. Are there any differences than Froyo besides it saying build: Gingerbread & battery not charging with usb? I just changed SD cards and it updated fine.
Edit: Quadrant Advance running @ 1615
I don't know if it's my imagination or not but it seems like the four action buttons on the bottom aren't registering a touch as easy as they used to. Reminds me of my old moment. I'm clearly touching dead center of it yet nothing is happening right away. Speed wise, I'm not noticing anything of an improvement.
Guys, need your help!
The following are the steps i tried, and failed:
Step 1. 2GB Micro SD - Lexar
Formatted FAT32 - NO GO
Formatted inside my tab - NO GO
I figured may be the card is bad
Step 2. 2GB Micro SD - Kingston
Formatted FAT32 - NO GO
Formatted Inside my tab - No Go
I figured may be because i am 'rooted', so i wiped the tab clean (Power + Vol UP), Wipe Cache clean
Step 3. 8GB Micro SD - SanDisk
Formatted FAT32 - No GO
Formatted Inside my tab - NO GO
Problem: the update goes about 1/4 and then the triangle with "!" appears
I dont mean to sound like a dufus, but can anyone point me to the right directions?
Thank you

Ok so, this is my first android phone and after being prompted to install the 2.2 update on my European htc desire, i downloaded and started it installing. It gets to about 23% and says process system unavailible and after reading what people said i cleared the phone and tried to install the update manually from the SD card. This didn't work
My phone currently does this
Will boot into what it says is 2.2 but with no wifi, no service, and no SD card showing up
then after about 5 minutes it will reboot.
I have no idea what i can do to fix this? could someone please help me, i'm a noob with android so a clear step by step would be much appreciated
anyone
I am having the same issue... Anyone some help please...

how did you create a blank goldcard, i can't access my SD card on my phone while it's in the phone so how did you do it
Do you have a WIFI connection? I do, and did the OTA 2.2 upgrade over WiFi with no problems, on my Unbranded European HTC Desire.
If youre phone won't boot properly, there are a few answers; 1) Return in to HTC, they're getit working and back to you, 2) Return it to th place of purchase, 3) Root/reflash (but sounds like it might not be an option).

When I got in touch with HTC they wanted £50 to do a reflash, falsely accusing me of rooting my device..
was that 50$ to send it to them? or can they do it without having it there. Because if THEIR update screwed up my phone i don't see why i should have to pay for a fix
maybe a silly question but did you try a factory reset?

Tell me about it, so thankful I managed to fix it myself!
It sounds like you are alll applying an OTA update for the standard ROM to what was a branded device. There are lots of explanations as to how to fix this if this is the case
In summary
Download update from mentioned here
Copy this to root of your goldcard and rename to update.zip
Turn off phone
Turn on holding down vol down
Select Bootloader then Recovery (an image of device should appear with exclamation mark over)
In menu (sorry forgot how you get in, if it does not appear then try power+vol down or power + back). From there choose apply update.zip
Wait while update applied
After update select reboot and wait for device to boot
Video of it here

I've just tried this again, installation looked like it went through ok, rebooted and relaoded into sense, then it shows me a status bar counting, normally this gets to about 10% then says ?Sorry process system is not responing, so i can either click wait or force close, then in continues upto about 97% then reboots and reloads only to load a white screen showing htc and continues counting in percentages, gets to about 15% then says force close, then onto about 91% then reboots this goes on for a while until it just shows me a sorta bricked phone with no wifi, gsm or any real functionailty and it continues to reboot every 5 mins, back to where I started showing 2.2 as installed
One strange thing I have noticed is that my CID is
CID: 00000000000000000049E917D100A69E
Reversing CID
CID: 00A600D117E949000000000000000000
Can't find update.zip on SD card during recovery
Tried all this, thanks. Goldcard created using Gold Card Tool 0.0.5 (awesome job Klutsh) . I get the error message:
"E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory)" even though it is in the root dir when I look at the card on my PC.
Should it be in a directory called /sdcard ?

I had to format the card in a card reader in my PC, then use the Gold Card Creator mentioned elsewhere in the thread. You have to install HTC Sync because enough drivers are in there to at least allow the apps to 'see' the card at physical level, even if the bricked Android doesn't. Set the phone to USB debug mode in Settings/Applications - the phone stays 'on' long enough between reboots to do that and get a CID out of it! Then Gold Card Creator works well enough to get the CID from the SD.
I'm trying this again with a 2GB card to see if makes any difference.

Quick update to this. Make sure you have extensions of known file types SHOWING in your folder settings. I was naming the file update.zip.zip!!

You can hack your PS3 with your evo. Please refer to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=778202 for the files and informations....
Some points of interest.
1) If you run any rom but fresh, your evo will freeze during the white loading screen, its normal, it will still do the hack. (have not verified myself, I run cyanogen and it freezes on white loading screen, still hacked my ps3)
2) You must have Amon Ra 1.8 or higher or the latest Clockwork Recovery or else you cannot flash the hack to your phone. It will give a digest error.
3) You must have firmware 3.41 installed on your PS3, not 3.15 not 3.42. If you have any other firmware, your ps3 just will not show anything on the screen. If the hack is installed correctly, it will take about 10 seconds, no more.
In order to install firmware 3.41 you can download it from PS3 - Hacks - firmware 3.41 and then visit Playstations Website for installation directions. In order to learn how to update your ps3 WITHOUT doing an auto update which WILL MAKE SURE YOU CANNOT INSTALL THE HACK.
4) Whatever device you load the backup manager package on, will be the only device you can do add backups to. IE: if you load backup manager on your evo in USB storage mode, you will only be able to back up to your evo. I suggest, swallowing 100 bucks and getting an external drive, install device manager to that, then do all your backups to the drive. ORRRRRRRR Buy a 2.5 terabyte drive and install it internally to your ps3.
5) Now instead of a nandrestore there is a disable file you can flash. Check out http://wiki.psfreedom.com/wiki/HTC_EVO
--------------------- Instructions for installing PSfreedom hack with your EVO ---------------------------
1) Bakckup your nandroid then Flash the zip to your evo
2) Reboot your evo (most likely will freeze on reboot, its normal)
3) Make sure you have Firmware 3.41 on your PS3, if not, use an SD card, DVD, or Flash Drive to install the proper firmware.
4) Unplug your power cable to the ps3
5) Plug your EVO into the PS3 via USB cable
6) Plug in your ps3 power cable
7) Press the power buttom immediately followed by the eject button on your ps3 (will beep twice)
8) Wait no longer than 60 seconds for your ps3 to boot, if it does not, refer to the above information about firmwares and files.
9) Once the PS3 boots go to the game menu, and look for install packages.
10) Flash the disable zip file or do a nand restore to your evo.
If you have the option to install packages, its official! You are hacked.
kamitsuna said:
5) Once you have installed Backup Manager to your permanent storage solution, you WILL NOT NEED TO USE YOUR EVO to boot your ps3 anymore. You only need this hack in order to install unsigned code. Once the code is installed, its there permanently. (Have not verified myself).
Definitely NOT true, you will need to have the device plugged in every time.

#5 sounds wrong. I doubt the PS3 will ever run your unsigned code without the PSFreedom hack enabled by the Evo at every bootup, even if successfully installed on a previous boot.

You can now install package files. Google for backup manager.
I see no point on using my phone to play games on the PS3... why not to make it work with old phones (the ones that you just use as a paper weight). I have two PS3's at home and believe me I still see no point on using my evo to play games on the ps3 hehe. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea but, what about if somebody calls you and you are playing.
This will be much more streamlined when a psfreedom AMON_RA is released for our phones. Then you can just open Rom manager, click boot into Recovery, and hack the ps3, then reboot and you phone is normal again.
At that time, Bart will be my hero. (even more)
technically you rent using it to play games youa re using yor phone to put your ps3 in dev mode. while in dev mode you can play games (if you install back up mamager) or use homebrew apps with out the aid of your phone once in dev mode.. Personally i still think it is a hassle and i think Sony will crack down on those they can catch. It is kind of a pain to have to flash your phone start your ps3 and either flash or annd restore your phone back each time you want to power on your ps3 and use it in dev mode (which is needed to play the back ups).
just me. I am sure the kiddies that have nothing better to do and no jobs will love this and wont mind though.

You dont have to leave your phone plugged in. Once the ps3 has booted up you can remove it. takes 10 seconds.
Guys this literally takes 5 minutes.
-flash the enabler
-plug phone into ps3
-unplug ps3
-plug in ps3
-power on then hit eject
-unplug phone and restore from nandroid
Piece of cake.
then you wait 10 minutes while your phone finishes restoring. thats also assuming you are ok with the nand back up you have and havent changed anything since you made it if you have you either have to manually make the changes or make a nand back up first. 5 minutes is now 15-25. and that is EVERY time you turn on the ps3. is it cool that you can do it sure, is it hard to do no it isnt, but if you find this as an optimal solution or even a sustainable one then i don't know what to tell you.

Help with spin forever
I need some help with the spin forever error when going into recovery. Nothing seems to work I can't upgrade to ICS cant seem to erase the data for factory reset. The tablet works fine but I would like to upgrade please help with a method to get to stock or custom recovery.
you need to wipe your device
• Switch off
• Press Vol-up + Power
• If display goes on: Release power but hold vol-up
• Toggle Lockswitch (On->Off->On->Off)
I did it a few time before get it right. then it will write something on the screen and reboot really quick.
I did a few thing but that's what seem to fix the bootloop
So I have upgraded my i927 captivate glide using the ROM from , but I only Androidupdate com called I927UCLH2_I927ATTLH2_I927UCLH2_Home tar md5 but I get a black screen with a slide down menu saying the date ‘Ongoing’ and an option to change the way that the device connects to another computer.
The update stated pass, it booted and proceeded to tell me that it was updating apps or something like that, then a black screen with the pull down menu from the top of the screen near the usb symbol came up but nothing else. I got a message a few hours later stating that the update application or something like that was not responding and an option to wait or quit. I chose wait, but nothing came of it eventually.
I then proceeded to try reflashing the process with no success even after factory reset and rebooting.
I then tried the pre-release ICS update as per XDA developers and other websites. Same thing
I tried a few other ODIN programs and ROMs but no success. Same issues including the hang up on the Samsung logo. I tried rooting it once and for some reason it started up into what looked like the same pull down menu, but it was requesting that I needed an to input a lock code for the network. I assume that is because my sim card was in it by now, but maybe not. I got so frustrated that I tried the bootloader and update bootloader options using the official ICS update ROM for some stupid reason but nothing. The thing is that at least it booted into the pull down menu that i got with a black screen again.
I then flashed with an updated ICS, CWM6 but cannot do the:
Third: Reboot into CWM6 (Volume- and power) install from sdcard (superuser)
Link to superuser: Superuser-3.2-RC2-arm-signed zip
Forth: Repeat third step above but install keyboard fix.
Link to keyboard fix: CWM_keyboard_backlight_fix zip
since I do not have an SD card that is working. I did get the SD Card in the device but I have always had problems with the format of it and I cannot put the zips onto the card due to the computer Win7 not recognizing it. I tried reformatting the device is HPUSB format program and windows. I inserted the card into the device to hopefully have it recognized on windows, and i gave me an option to format the SD card. So I proceeded and success. I was able to put the Zips onto the card. However, I returned to the CWM6 screen by pressing the VOL- and power keys but the files were no where to be found on the SD Card.
I moved on after a few other tries at it, so I tried to go backwards to the Gingerbread ROM. No success, same hanging issue at the Samsung logo.
I then tried to reflash with the devices original ROM as provided by DroidAngel on androidupdate com. Both without success.
I wanted to try the process involved on the 'stuck on boot screen' thread, but I cannot access the zip files on the sdcard in order to be able to do that.
I also bought my phone unlocked from the US (ATT version) and had it sent to me in Canada unlocked so I cannot just return it to the seller to get a new one, so my new phone is pretty useless.
I have spent two days reading through and trying different fixes and updated ROMs on multiple sites but I just cannot figure out what the heck to do now. I know that this site is not to spoon feed people and I am a noob to all of this but I am out of ideas and cannot find anything else to help out.
Where do I go from here. Is there a possibility of reformatting EVERYTHING on the device including all partitions etc etc.? I mean the hardware is fine, it is just a software issue. I do this to my laptop whenever I get into a bind.
Have you tried booting into CWM and restoring factory?
sent from my captivate glide running ICS (NardROM 0.3 Rooted)
Just a note, the SD card you're seeing in CWMR isn't actually your physical SD card, its the internal phone memory. I don't think we have a version of CWMR that reads the real external SD unless modified. So anything you put on it won't show up there. The folder structure will look like ... /sdcard/external_sd/ where /sdcard/ is where you want to put your files for CMWR to see, /external_sd/ is your physical card you can take in/out.
I have tried to reflash with CWM6 using ODIN v3. I didn't realize that the SD card that came up was actually a part of the internal memory. Thanks to you both for the help.
Any other suggestions since no matter what I do now the phone simply stops at the Samsung logo and wont turn off? I press the power button for the required time to shut it down but it automatically restarts by itself to again sit at the Samsung logo.

A few questions about your situation right now:
Can you get into Download mode? (Turn off the device, in your case remove the battery. Press power en volume UP)
Can you get into CWM? (Turn off the device, in your case remove the battery. Press power en volume DOWN)
Does it keep asking you for the Network Key? Are you stuck at that particular point...?

Okay, so right now I can still get into the download mode to flash, the CWM6 to factory reset and reboot which I have tried already as stated, and I have not been asked for the network key again since the one time quite a long time ago. The network key is only asked when I load one of the other custom ROMS though, but I have not tried any of those in a while.
I am stuck at the black screen with white Samsung logo.
In CWM6, do you see "mounts and storage" (Second to last option)
If so, connect your phone with the USB cable and select "mounts and storage".
In there and select "mount USB storage" (Again, second to last option, you'll have to scroll to get to it)
Now your PC should see the USB storage which is in fact what is marked as internal SD. So the sdcard CWM can actually see and install things from.
Now you can copy a custom ROM to it, and install it through CWM. Or install anything that is in CWM format.
You may get the Network Key Request as before. I do not know if it can be bypassed by starting it without the SIM. If so, you could then try to unlock your device using one of the methods on the forum.
Alternatively, and highly recommended by yours truly, is to buy the unlock code.
It is somewhat common for these devices to re-lock, so having the code handy is very convenient. I used americanunlocker to get mine, and I put the code on the inside of the back-cover should I find myself re-locked in the middle of nowhere. The code works, and isn't that expensive. In fact, it's a steal if you look at your own time invested in all this in terms of hourly wage! Of course, you'll need the IMEI code. You can find that by removing the back-cover and the battery.
Good luck!
Got it running on Bio360 but 'Not Registered on Network' now

Thank you so much for the feedback, I actually had not thought about the unlock code idea, and since you put it into such perfect terms considering the time and effort that has to go into something like that, it is a good idea for sure to get one. The idea of keeping it on the inside of the back cover is another awesome idea. Kudos to you and thanks!
As for the rest of what you had stated about the mounting and what not; I actually mounted and successfully reflashed and installed all of the required files for the new ICS stock upgrade. The good news was that I got past the Samsung screen again and it said that it was updating all of the applications or whatever again, but then it just gave me the pull down menu again with very limited functionability.
I then used your suggestion to try out another ROM. I tried the Bio360 and followed all directions on the 'phone stuck on boot screen thread'. It worked! I finally have a functional phone again and will be able to get calls from my boss. Thanks!
Now that I know I have one option, I can explore any other options. I still cannot figure out how it is that I will be able to get the ICS upgrade but maybe I will try Kies.
However, I just found that I don't have network access anymore despite that I have a strong cell signal, so I presume that I will have to enter the unlock code somewhere. Where can I put that into? It didn't pop up to tell me anything.

You're very welcome! Glad to hear the phone is usable again. In order to get data back you will have to set your APN manually. Stock ROMs come with the APN settings for all providers it is expected to be sold with. But custom ROMs usually come without those settings. You can find the APN settings for your provider online, just do a search. There is even an app for it, but the name eludes me at the moment. You'll need wifi to get the app, though! Once the settings are in place (You put them in under wireless & Networks), you'll have data again.
As for the limited functionality, I had the same thing, at first. The upgrade was broken for me, I guess some settings/apps were causing problems. So, after flashing the upgrade, I did a factory reset in CWM. I also wiped the cache, and the Dalvik cache, for good measure(Under advanced in CWM). It rebooted, said it was upgrading and installing, and I let it sit for a few minutes. Then I was greeted by an initial setup screen, and the phone has been on a working ICS ever since! I did lose all my settings and such, but I had a back-up of those with Titanium Backup, and got those back that way.
Hope this will help as well.
Hello....I bricked my I927 when I accidently formatted my efs partition when using EFS professional .....my phone boots in download mode.....but only boots till samsung logo screen.....I tried various things like installing stock GB and ICS through odin and installing custom firmware but phone boots onle till samsung logo and then lights up with sone stange colored thin lines and screen goes off.....In TRWP I get a "unable to mount preload" error whenever I try to install somethiing.....I suspect that the EFS partiton is corrupted and needs to be repartioned....I had backupped the efs folder when my phone was working before.....its in a tar format.....I read somwhere that someone made a recovery.zip out of his backedup EFS.IMG and flashed it with CWM solved his problems which were exactly similar to mine.....can somebody on the forum make a recovery.zip for I927 with update binary and script so that I can add the backedup EFS image to it and flash it with CWM? Please.....this would also help many others who are facing similar issues.....and also what do I do regarding the "unable to mount preload" error? I need to repartition and tried to install hemdall.....but get the common .dll error even after following all the instructions and installing C++ 2010.....
Hi, k one thing after the other.
Do you have repartitioned anything?
Do you have adb in place and does adb works when in TWRP?
The easiest thing would be to connect by adb then mount /efs and then restore the efs backup. The good is that you will have a good chance to recover your device. Maybe you need to reformat /efs but that depends.
Which timezone do you live? Maybe a Teamviewer session would be helpful?
.
Thank you for your reply sir...
THANKS FOR THE REPLY SIR....YES I WAS ABLE TO GO INTO CWM RECOVERY AND CONNECT THE PHONE WITH MINIMAL ADB FASTBOOT.....AND AFTER SPENDING ALMOST 2 DAYS CONTINUOUSLY TRYING TO FIND THE PROBLEM USING GOOGLE, I TRIED DIFFERENT COMMANDS ON ADB TO GET EFS BACK OJ THE PHONE....BUT WITH NO SUCCESS...... MY EFS BACKUP IS IN TAR FORMAT......IT WAS MADE USING GALAXYSIMUNLOCK BY SPOCKY.....I LATER TYPED IN 'ADB MESG'.....OR SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THAT COMMAND, AND FOUND OUT THAT ALL THE PARTITIONS ON mmcblk0 were mangled up with strange letters.....for eg, p1, p2, p3 and so on had strange characters written next to them.....SO I TRIED TO RE-PARTITION THE WHOLE THING WITH SDPARTED......AND IT RE-PARTIONED THE SYSTEM (AROUND 7000MB).....MMCBLK01 (AROUND 500MB).....AND ANOTHER THING I CANT REMEMBER NOW.....BUT WHEN IT FINISHED THE JOB, IT GAVE ME A mmcblk02 ERROR.....AND WHEN WHEN I CHECKED MY PHONE ON CWM SCREEN, IT GAVE ME A LIST OF CACHE ERRORS.....AND WHEN I SWITCHED OFF THE PHONE AFTER THAT IT REFUSED TO POWER ON.....IT WAS NOT EVEN GOING INTO DOWNLOAD OR RECOVERY MODE.....BATTERY HAD ENOUGH POWER....SO ITS NOT BATTERY FAULT......I SUPPOSE THAT SINCE THE PARTITIONS WERE FORMATTED THE PHONE BECAME COMPLETELY DEAD......CAN YOU TELL ME IF THERE IS ANY WAY WHERE I COULD GET THE COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE MY PHONE USING A 'DEAD PHONE USB FLASH' OR SOMETHING.....AND THEN FLASH A BLANK BOOTLOADER AND THEN WRITE CWM?
I LIVE IN INDIA SIR.....+5.30 GMT.....I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TEAMVIEWER.....IS IT AN ANDROID APP? CAN YOU EXPLAIN MORE IN DETAIL SIR?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO GET THE COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE THE PHONE AGAIN......
Well.. that sounds not that good...
Teamviewer (www.teamviewer.com) is an easy to use and free remote control software for your PC (it runs on both Linux and Windows). We could do a remote control session if you like. I can try to help but cannot promise anything.
I live in Germany: GMT +1. Send me a PM if you want to give that a try. Next Monday. Tuesday or Thursday would be possible on my site. At least for getting a short overview.

Thank you sir,
Thanks for the reply Sir.....I believe using teamviewer requires a internet connection with good amount of data.....I have an extremely slow 2G internet connection here in India.....I searched google to find some solution for the bricked I927......and came across many posts where people have used the 'unbrick.img' which was specifically made for their samsung phone models on their SD cards to resurrect their dead phones.....The method involves creating a 'unbrick.img' with emmc files extracted from another working I927 and then writing the image on an external SD card with some linux commands or win2image software and then inserting the SD card into the dead phone and switch it on by which it goes to download mode.....once in download mode I can flash CWM or TWRP and also flash stock firmware through odin and recover the phone.....Since your a developer who is well versed in things pertaining to this, can you make a unbrick.img file for the I927 and upload it here Sir? It will be very helpful for others also on the samsung glide subforum, as there is no proper 'hard unbrick' thread for the glide on xda......Ill be very grateful and thankful to you for all your help Sir.....

Ok I have made one. It want to say it was VERY hard to find the correct instructions to do so and therefore I'm absolutely not sure if that will work for you!
Test it if you like but again: I have no idea if that would damage anything more than it is now!
See --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/cap...od-unbrick-debrick-hard-bricked-i927-t3285505
If it worked for you (would be like a miracle) then please report back!
If it does NOT work for you please report back, too!
thanks

UPDATE:
Besides the link I posted --> Could you please also try the following:
1) Power on your device and directly after that:
2) Press and hold down Vol Up + Vol Down (both the same time)
3) You should see a warning message like the attached one which is the APX mode
4) you need to release the vol buttons immediately after you see the APX mode otherwise it will continue to the non working download mode.
Does teamviewer require internet connection with a lot of data?

1927 wouldn't boot.....Help.
Ohhhh Thank you.....thank you.....thank you for your kind reply Sir.....how good of you to take all your precious time to help me.....I greatly appreciate all your hard work Sir.....wonderful...*.I wanted to download your img file to try it out and when I read the reply of brother Bubor, that the I927 woudnt boot from the SD card when the bootloader is bricked, I was very disappointed. Like I said before, I have a very very slow internet connection with very less data left....and according to brother bubor's reply I doubt this will work....It looked like he was sure that it wont work....I tried to get into APX mode as the link that brother bubor posted had mentioned, but no luck, as the phone is not going into APX mode.....I remember that when I was trying to get to the APX mode the first time, the computer flashed a notification that the APX driver was not successfully installed.....but after that I tried the method more than a dozen times, but the computer was not recognizing the phone to go into APX mode.....Does the phone go into APX mode when the full internal phone system is formatted? I tried your second method on trying to get to APX mode, but nothing happens.....the computer is not recognizing the phone.....The battery had about 30% power in it when the phone got bricked 2 weeks ago.....Dont know if the battery drained all these days of not using the phone.....And even if I get to the APX mode, I have no idea how to proceed from there to repartition the internal phone system and get back download mode.....In the link that brother bubor posted the person who made the thread has made some files to be used when one gets into APX mode.....The PIT and emmc files which are necessary for repartitioning the system and getting the bootloader work are found in that zip file.....But that zip file is for the I9103 Galaxy R.....there isnt something like that available for the I927 yet.....And is brother bubor sure that the unbrick.img file wont work on the I927?
Give it a try with my unbrick image.

Hi @alvcross: any update on this?
have you tried the SD card unbrick?
You said you cannot open the APX mode but what happens when you press the buttons for accessing the APX mode?
Try it even if you see a blank screen and then connect your Cappy with USB to your computer --> you should get a message about a missing driver or similar.
If that works I tell you how to proceed.

Ok could you please try these driver package here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/development/adb-fb-apx-driver-universal-naked-t1379875
Follow the instructions there for installing
The next step (if the driver would work for you) will be to flash a working PIT to your device to make sure you are using the correct partitions.
Afterwards we will flash the bootloader (may absolutely brick your device if not done correctly) and then --> if all goes fine --> you should be able to flash in download mode whatever you want to.
So it is still a long way to go and I need to check all the steps first before actually we can proceed.
That may take longer so do not expect that this will be something in the next days.. sorry.
Update:
If the above universal driver do NOT work for you: Test these one here View attachment apx_driver_samsung.zip

nvidia apx isnt fastboot/adb device. You can found tool on nvidia site ( more info https://ac100.grandou.net/nvflash ), this tool can read and write whole flash.
Before you could use nvidia's tool, you must send an uniq blob to your phone. APX mode is useless without this blob.
This blob is uniq for every phone.
