Hi I flashed my phone today to cricket wireless. Everything seems to work fine faster than sprints 3g speeds tell you that. But my problem is I cant watch YouTube videos on 3G. When I was on the s3 I found the solution to be an app that let me change the streaming settings to 0.0.0.0 instead of sprint. Cant get it to work on my note 2. Also mms either. Can someone help me out please? Thanks alot

I would google "cricket wireless apn settings", to get your mms working.
It looks like you also need to set your mmsc to:
http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms

I'm trying to use chomp SMS app. SMS works. But when I try to send a mms it says check apn settings. Ive looked for it everywhere. Any advice??

For chomp it should be settings>mobile carrier settings>MMS network settings>APN settings
As for the settings themselves refer to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2017549
Thank you good sir.

So I've never really found any third party messaging apps that I thought were worth the time of installing and setting up, but 8sms looks/feels really good to me so far. My problem is trying to find the LS970 MMSC, MMS port, and MMS proxy settings to get my mms working again after freezing the stock app. If somebody would post up some settings that have worked for you I would appreciate it in a big way!
Thx everyone

To my knowledge, there is currently no way to fix MMS for 3rd party apps on this phone. You can check other devices to see how they got MMS working on their 3rd party apps, like the Galaxy S3, Moto Photon, etc.

This might get you started in the right direction... Good luck brother.

I'm currently on 4.4.2 Beastalk and I can't send MMS when i'm connected to wifi? Is there anyway to do this? I read on other forums that you should try to turn on wifi calling instead, but i can't find that option anywhere
Wifi calling is a Tmobile Touchwiz Feature. It doesn't exist on AOSP.

A better question would be how can it be setup to automatically turn wifi off for outbound mms?
Is there any news on this? I'd love to be able to send/receive MMS while on wifi instead of receiving the error message.
You could use Tasker to turn wifi off and on when you send the message.

What about to receive a message?
You may be able to set a context for that as well. Tasker is extremely powerful. I'm just not sure as I haven't tried to set contexts for that kind of trigger.
