[Q] Anyone using CVpcs Emerald AOSP rom?

I was browsing thru Rom manager Rom list and ive seen a new adder, Cvpcs roms.. its a AOSP rom in alpha, ive only heard of the dev once by him booting a custom rom on the Droid x.
So far ive booted it and it seem fine

Im still sticking with cyan for the moment. but this could be a good test.. we need more AOSP devs

4g working?

No 4g or mms. Im running it now its basically cm6 but ALL stock Android even the stock launcher

i installed and for some reason it keeps giving me a error message wtf!

More customizable rom?

I'm currently using virtuous 3.1 and i've been craving more customization lately. What are some roms with more options? Can people possibly post screen shots?
Also what rom is everyone using?

Search all post by wes342 and you will find it.
I haven't updated my Rom in a while but I'm almost done with it.

Aosp and themes

Are all themes made for aosp compatible with any aosp based rom.

I don't think so. Each theme is made to my knowledge on a version base thus some themes don't work for cm6 because they are intended for cm7 and vise versa.
Now if you are talking of say cm7 and the destroyer Rom by Magnus then in a sense they have the same base so chances are they should use the same theme. Best to just check with the dev to ensure the theme works with certain Roms.

pretty much any cm7 theme works on decks rom...

check the first blood link in my sig. sweet red theme made by Modnation, a team i'm a (small) part of. spring cleaning is also good, but i personally love first blood.

first blood is sick..my fav theme by far..some reason i kept bootlooping..went back to cm 7.0.3.1 with first blood theme thanks for your input guys..much appreciated!

yea nightly's based on 2.3.4 will bootloop. we'll upgrade once 7.1 stable is out.

[Q] Calkulin's E4GT v2.8.1 Questions

Did he remove CIQ? and would there be an issue flashing LoS experimental kernel? 10 lockscreen mod. where can i find it? is it only with certain roms? can i CWM it to Calkulin's? thanks!!

CiQ is natively removed and there is no need to flash that kernel since the LoS issue has basically been wiped even though some report getting it. What modem you on? If you flash the lockscreen mod you're bound to experience some issues. I've tried some themes with the lockmod for calk and haven't had issues.

I wanted a great stable kernel that i can achieve 1.6ghz. i want the lockscreen mod and calk's rom. will that work?

You can try Desperado kernel. It's great and stable. Well if you just want the lockmod you could flash it but you're bound to kill some of calk's tweaks. Just flash a compatible theme for calk that also includes the lockmod.
