Hey I wanna try some new roms, is there any New one?

I'm using VirusRom Gingersense Rev B3, Its a 2.3.3 port with sense 2.1, but it runs pretty smooth. It has a lot of sense 3.0 apps and features added in and there should be some more added in the next update. I recommend it.

I used it and it was amazing but I noticed that I was receiving the text messages way too.late like someone txtd me at 3 and I received it at 6 lol but great rom tho

wanna iphone feel? try miui (havent tried it myself)

Are you sure they sent the at 3? I saw someone mention that the time stamp on received texts was way off. That could be what happened.

I also recommend KingsROM UNleashed R5. It is a very fast, smooth, and stable rom.

I'm currently running Vaelpak 3.2 RC2 and IMO it's great. It's a nonsense rom, no sense launcher and his Vaelpak Settings app adds alot of customization options.

I Bulit this rom as a STABLE build of MIUI, If you do not like to update your phone every week this build might be for you as this version gets updated every so often (monthly).
I am currently focusing on the theme at this point, all features SHOULD be working and STABLE.

So far so good its android 2.3.7 minuit gravely themed. Very snappy and responsive so far will give more feed back when I have a full day or 2 on it. Thank-you Dev. For ur help keeping mytouch 4g's alive.

Might be cause he edited the screen res.
I just changed mine back to 240

[REQ]Ginger Bread Based theme for EI22

Before I rooted the damn phone I had Ginger Bread on it, and quite frankly I enjoyed looking at the notification bar and seeing how basic it was. To me the whole concept of the stock theme was pretty sweet because it was just simple. I'm sure there's a theme that looks like this but I haven't been able to find one, so I decided to post here hoping for a few links from the people who know what I'm talking about. If you can't tell by reading this I am a n00b so id appreciate it if you guys weren't dicks about this... thanks!

EI22 IS Gingerbread. If u want a "stock Gingerbread look", why not just flash Toad's Clean GB ROM, its the closest thing to stock untouched GB with lots of little goodies/tweaks

Yeah I know its ei22, I was jus5 being specific so nobody thinks I want it for el30, and I think I mixed up gb with froyo. So if you know of any froyo themes for ei22 id appreciate it!

??? Why would you want a crappy theme? Just flash cm7 and find cm7 themes on the market. There is one called cm7 galaxy s theme that is like our froyo. If you attempted at grammar and didn't swear I could probably help better. I don't even know what version/rom your phone is on...

2. What is your android version (2.2/2.3/4.0)
3. What theme do you want (2.2/2.3)
4. If you are on gingerbread, just flash cleangb or stockish rom.

If all you want is the EI22 modem, why not just odin back to stock froyo and just flash the EI22 modem?

Yea I'm well aware my grammar was bad as it was 3 in the morning when I posted that and I was tired, but when I flash to cleangb my colors are, well they're just weird... they are way off from where they are when I'm marcusant rom... and I download voodoo controls but it says my kernel isn't support when it is (samurai). And the color thing is the same for cm7... I appreciate your help!

Yes, the hue and tint is very off. But I fixed it and put my magic to the works and got it working! All I did was open the zip on my pc and change the kernels lol but its fixed now. I'm on Clean GB 1.1.2 and is fitting me well. My only complain is that the notification bar is black, I'm not a themer do I don't know if that's the framework.apk or not so I'll just let it be until a theme I like is released!

Miui Google now broken

I just installed the newest version of miui but I cannot get Google now search to work. It seems 2 load up a desktop version of the page then freeze and close when I try to scroll. Has any body else had this problem...any help? Example is attached photo. Thx.

Jellybean was never meant for the Evo. The devs here are quite amazing that they bring it to the OG via ports and source builds. But the fact of the matter is that Miui Gingerbread is about the only really stable build for the evo. The problems your having is a combo of miui 4.1 instability and the evo just being an older phone.
If you like the look of miui, flash Decks Reloaded and a cm7 skin of miui...in the long run you'll appreciate the advice. Good luck

Is the messaging app a stock android ? or its just themed that way. and also what about the dialer. I can't flash at the moment since my phone is at like 3 percent >_<. Thanks for the other screens tho!

Is not the stock one. Dialer is not themed yet. There's way more goodies coming this way. Just time consuming and crazy work schedule.

Features
First off, thanks for the hard work to all developers that have made fk23 available to the community.
Been running fk09 (thanks dan) w/fk23 modem and kernel. I saw this and said f YEAH! After flashing successfully on the first try and began playing with it, I noticed some differences of course between the two.
fk09:
1. In app drawer, continuous scroll was possible but not in fk23 and ways to arrange order is missing.
2. Long press on home screen gives options to add apps/widgets or change wallpaper on home screen/lock screen or both.
3. When pressing settings on bottom left of phone, missing other options.
If I'm missing something here on how to do these thing please advise because I love the theme that has been applied so far and am looking forward to the update.

On another note, I love the other features that this has that fk09 doesn't e.g. keyboard, gallery, the BOOT SOUND that almost made me spew my drink, etc.
