I want to use the "Deck ROM 1.2", and I need to know what's a good kernel to use with the Rom please. TIA.

i have been using deck's since way back when 1.0 was released. the cm kernel it comes with is perfectly fine for most things, and i personally like to stick with it because its easier to modify CPU settings, but if you don't wabt to muck around with that i'd recommend tiamat, either 3.3.7 or 3.3.8 - hope that helos.

I recommend the Tiamat kernel.

Tiamat-aosp 3.3.7, 4.0.2, 4.0.6 all SBC is what I recommend. You can also undervolt those with terminal emulator to get even more battery life. And of course use set CPU.
Also I would suggest using the miui app that comes with the rom. Its a much nicer place to go for help than here.

Hello!
I've installed the Rogue Kernel v1.1.3
"Outlaw"
How can I uninstall this kernel and install the Stock Kernel back? Please, give me a link on the stock kernel only?
I really need it. After I flashed this kernel I started to have some very strange errors.
Thank you!

I believe some have reported success using ca1ne's Underworld Sense Kernel v0.8 on Mikg's.
Hmmmmm alright, thank you :]

If you encounter lag at times while using the Underworld kernel, then consider using the Classic kernel instead.:good:
I flashed the Chop Suey 9.2.7 kernel (so I could use HDMI out) and that worked pretty well for me. I also was able to improve the battery life on my EVO 4G with an app called Screen Filter. You can set it so that the backlight on your softkeys is turned off.

I've been using netarchy-toastmod Stable: 4.3.1 Beta on MikG froyo for a year now and it runs like melted butter mate and battery life is brilliant.

I have been looking for and in need of a kernel for a non sense rom that supports SBC and fast charge. If anyone knows of a list of kernels that would be awesome too.
Currently running:
HTC EVO 4G
Android 2.3.5
Deck's ReLoaded .500 RLS
2.6.38.8-Mason G d15rc4 sbc

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Reloaded has ViperMod baked in and there are some controls there as far as kernel adjustment (voltages, etc.). Go to your terminal emulator app, type su, then vipermod. If you change any settings make sure you use the option to create an init.d file so your changes are saved and not lost when you reboot your phone. You can adjust things like your governor by going to Menu>Settings>Advanced> Performance>CPU Settings.

Been using this awesome rom for a long time, just curious why very little over clocking?

Because that's what Task chose. If you want more OC install a new kernel.

Right but is there a kernel that will work with this rom? Without messing something up?
