Tiamat-aosp 3.3.7, 4.0.2, 4.0.6 all SBC is what I recommend. You can also undervolt those with terminal emulator to get even more battery life. And of course use set CPU.
Also I would suggest using the miui app that comes with the rom. Its a much nicer place to go for help than here.

I want to use the "Deck ROM 1.2", and I need to know what's a good kernel to use with the Rom please. TIA.

i have been using deck's since way back when 1.0 was released. the cm kernel it comes with is perfectly fine for most things, and i personally like to stick with it because its easier to modify CPU settings, but if you don't wabt to muck around with that i'd recommend tiamat, either 3.3.7 or 3.3.8 - hope that helos.

Yes, the thread is started by Cayniarb; should be within the first 3 pages.
Who is using the Godmode kernal with a rom? If so, what is the max overclock for you???

Using the godmode kernel I was able to overclock my 0003 hardware EVO to the highest setting allowed. I don't use this kernel anymore so I can't be exact on the numbers.
I tried it for the past 3 days... Set CPU showed it was set to max of 1119 but the actual speed was stopping itself at 998mhz
The kernel itself was decent tho.. already seemed quicker than tiamat or savagedzen, and battery life was much better so I will likely go back.

Haha. Why does everyone say kernal?
Gimme a couple a days to come up with a new sig that is cool.
Because its letting me overclock at the max but when using tiamat I overclocked alot more... Anybody know of a better kernal?

Has there been a release on a Overclocked Kernel for EG22, 2.3.4 rom ?
I'm loving the feel from 2.3.4, but i'd love the speed i had using genocide on EC05.
Thank you all ahead!

No, can't be a kernel without source code. Source code usually is not released until official is released. Some have had success with Tegrak an overclock app in the market.
dag, your right didn't even think about that.
Thank you!
I'll give the app try!

You can use Tegrak (in the market). It will OC the EG22 kernel from here:
http://chris41g.devphone.org/EG22PlusKernel.zip ACS Ext4 Kernel, I've run it and it does make EG22 run much faster. BUT - I noticed significant battery drain.
Hope that helps
The app also works with cm7

A little battery drain is a given with over clocking, lol

Yes Tegrak is awesome.

What kernel should I use with it? A kernel that has a good battery life c:

I remember it being gingerbread AOSP, so i would recommend tiamat 3.3.7, 4.1.0 or mason G series kernels.

I used the Savaged-Zen kernal on this rom and got nearly 48 hour battery (moderate use)

I believe some have reported success using ca1ne's Underworld Sense Kernel v0.8 on Mikg's.
Hmmmmm alright, thank you :]

If you encounter lag at times while using the Underworld kernel, then consider using the Classic kernel instead.:good:
I flashed the Chop Suey 9.2.7 kernel (so I could use HDMI out) and that worked pretty well for me. I also was able to improve the battery life on my EVO 4G with an app called Screen Filter. You can set it so that the backlight on your softkeys is turned off.

I've been using netarchy-toastmod Stable: 4.3.1 Beta on MikG froyo for a year now and it runs like melted butter mate and battery life is brilliant.
