I'm stuck here and I need help to resolve this problem.
I'm a noob and I tried to flash my HTC Touch Pro 2 SPRINT with the Rhodium-HardSPL_V1_10_R3 after reading some threads on how to do that now.
But it didn't work kept on displaying Connection Error.I tried so many times but it didn't work out. Then I tried using the SSPL Manual as alternative.
I extracted and copied it to my device ( can't remember if my device was still plugged to my PC or not) and then ran the program.
My device went blank screen and I waited for some time and it didn't come on ( I waited patiently).
when nothing happened,I then removed the battery and tried hard resetting but it won't still come on.
Now,I cannot synchronized my device with my PC because it kept requesting for driver software for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM (guess it no longer recognized my device) and my phone won't come. So I can't complete the flash.
Please I need help to resolve this problem...I have been a little unfortunate with HTC phones nd I need this to work.
I'm new here and will appreciate the help.

the blank screen is fine.
you have a USB driver issue.
reinstall activesync if you are on XP, or windows mobile device center if you are on vista or windows 7.

My HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125) is stuck in the bootloader mode. I had successfully flashed a new rom, and all was well until it started shutting down. After a couple of hard resets with no change, I tried to put it in bootloader mode to flash a downgraded rom. Now I can only get to the bootloader screen and the usb connection is not recognized by the computer or the device. Any suggestions?

I have a useless suggestion, just to keep this problem at the top of the list so you find help:
First, try using a different USB port on your computer. Maybe the one you're using fried, or perhaps for some reason the device is just not getting enough powre through it. Try one of the ports on the back of your computer, directly connected to the motherboard. I assume the USB port you're currently using is the one you always use, so this probably won't help at all. But worth a shot.
Also, have you posted this problem in the device specific forum? Someone there might be of more assistance.
Hi everyone! Ever since I went from Gingerbread to ICS on my S2 I've had nothing but problems! First off, my "goodbye" hangs...and hangs... and just won't go away unless I take the battery out! Now, I want to connect to Kies to download any current firmware updates that may be available, but when I plug it into my PC my phone is not recognized. It keeps saying "please connect a device". I can't even connect to Odin to re-root my phone because my PC keeps not recognizing my phone as being connected. I've downloaded and installed (and deleted and re-installed) the drivers for our phone from the Samsung website several times and even that doesn't work. I've even unrooted my phone and did two factory resets, and nothing still works! Any suggestions? Thanks!!!
The only thing I can think of then is to call t- mobile let them know that when u updated to ICS u some how lost ur drivers maybe they'll send u another. I hard bircked mine told them that is how it happened and got a new one so its worth a shot. Good luck!!
enjoying sith3, thank u to all
This may seem stupid and obvious but simply restarting both the PC and the Phone can help.
Meelo, I re-started both the phone and the PC with each new driver download. You're supposed to do that anyway. Still no recog.
I told a friend of mine who works for t-mobile of my problem - my friend immediately set up an insurance exchange and I should be getting a new S2 in the mail this week. Let's hope this fixes things!
Thanks you two for the good advice!!! It is much appreciated. - Sparkie
Hey,
I have looked everywhere found many tricks and tips, guides, programs, drivers, yet i'm still have problems. I think that it could be problems with my phone. I recently bricked my phone (installed a rom from a different note 2 version and was stuck in a boot loop). Went to go plug in the phone to restore back to stock and the phone wasn't detected. It was a new laptop so i figured it was a driver issue. Installed the drivers still nothing. Long story short I have installed multiple drivers, Note 2 toolkit (mskip big thanks), Samsung Kies, and Odin (all at separate times) all in an attempt to get this phone connected. I have tried 2 different USB cords, different plug-ins, different computers yet still nothing. Now I have gotten my phone back to stock but went to install a new rom and now it wont load past the boot screen. But that was after my trying for a whole day of plugging in and unplugging before 1 time it was connected. I can not understand the issue besides it being my phone. I don't have anything else to try besides plugging it in and out over and over for the 1 time it decides to work and connect. I am getting very frustrated with this because I currently have no phone. Is their a way to tell if the connector is messed up in any way? I'm really needing help because nothing i'm doing is working.

Have the same issue. I am trying fr a work computer, internet restricted, no kies. Now can only recognize note 2 as a camera. When I switch thw usb settings in android, I get the not supported box. Same thing happens at the home computer. I left bb for this??
This is a simple hardware fail and needs to be taken in for warranty repair. The fact that it's bricked, we'll you're just gonna have to cross your fingers and hope they don't charge you for a new one.
Or you can try a jig to get it into download mode and try to push a rom through.

Thats what i'm going to do take it in and see if they can fix it but i want to get it back to stock firmware before but not being able to plug it in to update it is kinda ruining that plan.
Well I turned in 3 notes with custom roms that were rooted and I never got charged, but I always run a stockist rom.
What rom did you flash?

Are u able to boot in recovery?
PM me if u need help
Sent from MOON......
Can you boot into recovery? If so then you can push a file to your SD card using adb. If your having problems with Samsung drivers or what ever good way to test is connecting your phone to a Linux box and setting up udev and adb. Then you can do a adb device command and see if it sees it.
If you have the time to install Linux on a extra hard drive or duel boot you can connect using adb.
Nice thing about Linux is that you can connect directly to the USB device using udev and the device id and with ADB you can push a file onto your phones SD card. Here's a good how to

So yesterday at school, I logged on to the WIFI network, signed in from chrome browser using my login credentials , few seconds later phone frooze totally.
I have pulled the battery several times, charged the phone for a lot of hours. Gave me nothing
Download mode, seems stuck at the small logo "download mode" it won't go any future.
Hard reset, dosen't progress either. When I hit "Yes" it keeps stuck at "Life's Good LG Logo"
Recover mode, my pc won't recognize the usb driver, it keeps getting "unknown driver" (Phone is otherwise dead? How to solve the USB issue without a boot-able phone) "Perhaps LG's own tool, could recover the phone, if I could solve the driver issue, maybe a manuel .sis file to install the driver?
Phone behaviour keeps staying at boot logo "Life's Good LG" No LG, Life isnt so good.
Solutions are welcome, I will probably call and use my warrenty. Because I had not installed root, messed with bulildprop, anything at all. First phone I ever used totally stock, and then this happens.
The fact it's turning on and the PC is seeing that it is connected is good. My first G3 was completely hardbricked (my fault) Just keep trying different return to stock methods.

Thanks for your reply
I have tried almost anything. There's only two stock options for 'back2stock' "recovery, & download mode" neither of them work. My pc won't regonize the usb-driver in recovery mode, so I can't use any firmware flash tools. I have installed driver and so forth.
Seems useless to continue to same two stock options, when they seem to be "corrupt or somehow damaged"
But a big thanks for you optimisme

That is very weird situation... Just can't understand why your phone bricked after logged in WiFi,...
I reckon u should take it back for warranty.

You are right. My understanding of this issue is that, it's hardware related. I will use my warrenty, and see what happens from there

So I got my phone back from the "repair shop" today. It said on the repair note "Mainboard replaced"
Glad I diden't use to much time trying to flash/whatever. Thanks for your support and reply.
If you experience similar issues as mention in this thread by me. Chances are you'll need to use your warrenty or replace your 'mainboard'
Peace out..
I need some advice here since I don't know what else to do in order to get a S4 GT-I9190 UD un-bricked. For some reason, unknow to me, I promise I do nothing weird or touch it, my phone was working fine and from one moment to another just got restarted and never power on again.
I've found several post talking about flash stock ROM using Odin, others says there are some kind of unbrick.img file somewhere (I can't find for this model atm) and so others but none will works for me since phone doesn't power on so my question is: is the phone really dead? There is nothing I can do in order to get it back? Why the PC recognizes it as QHSUSB_DLOAD and some places says there is a way to get phone back? Can any give me some help on this?
Thanks in advace

Hi everyone,
I have the exact same problem on a S4 mini, GT-I9195. A few days ago, it shut down while playing a video and refused to restart. I thought it was the battery, so a few hours later i changed the battery ... it booted again, but came back to life just for a minute, before shutting down again. Since that moment, nothing i tried succeded. When the phone is plugged to a PC, the computer sees a Qualcomm Device connected (it uses the "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" v2.1.2.2 driver, to be precise), as reynierpm mentionned, but nothing else.
Do you think it could be worth a try to change the motherboard or another hardware piece ?
Thanks for reading !
i have the same problems, need a solution
i have same problem
Is there a way to recover data by switching a "memory chip" from a defective motherboard to a new one ?
i got the same issue with that S4 Mini
i found the tool "emmcdl" that it is supposed to dump the emmc into a file but when I try i got the error: Expecting SAHARA_END_TRANSFER but found: 0
i searched all of internet and maybe it could be the wrong programmer file (firehose) used within the tool
then i tried with other programmer files, like 8916, 8976, 8936... but i got always the same error
So:
- what is the right firehose programmer files for Samsung i9195 ??
- am i missing some other things related this "Sahara" ??
- is there another way to make a dump of emmc ??
