Yep, I'm sure

Try 4.0.0.5 im using it since today and its very good, looks like all bug fixes fixed eg. mounting problem/ext wipe - it works great for me.

2.5.0.7 never had problems with this version so never seen a need to upgrade!

If you have s-off you can use fastboot to flash any recovery of any version, as long as you can find the img file for the particular version you want.

Are you S-off?If not then androidflasher won't work as i read somewhere in the forum that it won't work with s-on device.
if you are s-off then try this
after you flash the recovery image your phone should reboot.Did it rebooted when you flashed?if not then something is wrong.
check your android usb driver and also boot into fastboot and see if your device connect with your pc then try to reflash from there.

I am unsure of mac commands but on windows through ADB you unzip the system image until you see the recover.img, system.img, and such. Place the system.img file into you adb platform tools file and then open command prompt and type fastboot flash system system.img and let it install then you reboot

It either means the drivers are not installed correctly or outdated android sdk/fastboot...
Or the usb port might not be working?

Trying to unbrick phone, help please?

I just rooted my one v a few days ago and originally flashed myOne ROM which ran fine other than the wifi not working. Yesterday I tried flashing the Pacman ROM and it was stuck in a boot loop, tried re clearing everything with no luck. So then I tried the xtremeSense v5 ROM and the same thing stuck in a boot loop.
I'm trying to start over and reflash the stock ROM. But when I tried to restore on CWM, i get an MD% mismatch. I mount the SD card and open the folder for the backup and theres no MD5 folder.
I'm attempting to fix that following this guide the 1st (Good) part
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835914
The first time I tried I was able to get to the cmd window and successfully entered adb shell, then when I try to enter the following syntax
cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2013-04-24.01.37.06

neither of them are getting me anywhere
and now after closing and trying again after putting in adb shell, i get
C:\ONE V\ADB>adb shell

[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.8.7.0 recovery for Huawei Watch

Hi guys, this is the TWRP for the Huawei Watch.
To Flash:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.8.7.0-Sturgeon.img
Source:
Device tree
Modded TWRP source
Big thanks to @Dees_Troy for the help and, of course, for the TWRP source.
Do we have to rename/delete the recovery-from-boot.p file while in TWRP or via ADB?

There is a file /system/recovery-from-boot.p that, on Nexus devices at least, reflashes the stock recovery on system boot. I think the idea is that that is how they upgrade the recovery. It is a good system for ota--it makes sure the system update is good before it replaces your recovery. Usually have to rename it or delete it to stop TWRP from being overwritten.
It's not a huge deal...I am actually thinking of just fastbooting recovery as I am not very likely to change my firmware on the go anyway.
Now we just need to get one of these things into the hands of a ROM dev. :highfive:
When I try and load this I get the following error..
fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.8.7.0-Sturgeon.img
target reported max download size of 63963136 bytes
error: cannot load 'TWRP2.8.7.0-Sturgeon.img': No error

You are unlocked, right? Ran the command "fastboot oem unlock" in fastboot mode? (Warning: this will factory reset your device)
Try fastboot booting the image instead of flashing it:
