please i need a help.
i have a tp2 with original htc rom 2.07.408.1 80803 (win 6.5, sense and radio 4.49.25.91).
on yesterday i tryed to install the tomtom software and after the usual problem with bluethoot i notice that the radio stop to work.
when i run the link for the radio a general error message appear with any description.
i try to reinstall the radio with the cab file that i found in the forum but nothing change.
is there someone that can help me? i don't know what to do.

i'm trying and trying to look for a solution but i can't.
i try to uninstall all the latest programs installed (tomtom included) but nothing change.
i saw just one thing in HKLM\software\widcom\fm seems that the fmradio need a BTFMLandscapeVDG.jpg and BTFMPortraitVGA.jpg in windows folder.
pls can someone send me those file, i haven't them in my folder.

i found a thread similar to mine in this forum, but i can't found a solution for my problem.
i didn't recive any answere from you so the only way to fix the problem was an hard reset-
now the radio works but i renounced to install tomtom.

I have official ROM 2.11.255.1 with radio version 1.38.00.10.
I´m trying to update to new official WM6 rom but when upgrade begins activesync connection closes and upgrade software terminate with error 260.
I´ve already tried upgrade hardSPL V7 but rom upgrades keeps same error.
Solutions?
Can i copy rom upgrade files to micro SD card and upgrade without activesync?
Please help me.

Have you updated your .NET framework to AT LEAST 2.0? That is usually a different error, but what the heck.
Are you successfully connecting to ActiveSync?
All else fails, try the SD Card method. No connection required.
Hi everyone
I have used the fanstatic guides & software on this forum to update my Orange SPV M3100 to WM6 successfully (for the second time - had to return my first M3100 due to white screen of death).
However, this time, despite trying every Orange settings CAB I can find, I can't send Text Messages ("Your text message cannot be sent") and my voicemail light is stuck on (even though I have no voicemails) (I have tried the Voicemail fix CAB on the wiki without success).
If anyone can help I'd be really grateful
Goto the link and download the cab to your phone, execute it and soft reset the device, see if it fixes the problem.

Thanks Starfury. I tried what you suggested, but to no avail. Messages sit in the outbox for a minute or so, then I get the Cannot Send message. Voicemail indicator stuck on too. Have tried hard reset. Not sure what to do next
This always works for me on OrangeUk M3100 with any version of WM6 mate.

I think there is a deeper problem here...
I can see what you are saying regarding the CAB files fixing the problem however I had this problem with my first ever WM6 flash as I only upgraded the ROM not the Radio and was using a really early radio version.
My messages would not send and also when I fixed this my voicemails would get 'stuck' and the voicemail light was always on.
Which ROM are you using? which Radio version etc?
Personally I fixed mine by flashing to black magik and uprading to radio 1.48

I unlocked the phone using "HTC Hermes SIM & CID Unlock - v3a"
Then flashed "HTC_TyTN_WWE_3.54.255.3_6275_1.48.00.10_108"
How can I update my Radio? Can you point me in the direction of the right file?

Try this, this is a guide to upgrading to radio 1.43, the principle is the same though for all radio versions. Ensure you have HardSPL installed etc.etc.
(read all the guides lol!)
You should be able to find newer radio version on this forum, I use 1.50 at the moment on Orange UK and works a treat

Thanks for the tips Raven. I have successfully flashed to Radio version 1.5 - but there's no change to the problem at all.
I've totally run out of ideas on this one, gonna throw the damn thing out the window its so frustrating!
All I can suggest is flash to another 'cooked' rom.
I'm using black X (RC) at the moment, super fast and just enough apps to keep me going. Having no trouble at all with this rom and radio 1.50.
hi i m new to flashing radio on ppc. i m using the custom software to flash radio and when it is flashing suddenly i lost my activesync connectionand it is stuck at zero percen. flashing is unsuccessful. so do the activesyncauto go off during flashing or there is some prob with my activesync? can anyone help me? thanks!
Activesync disconnecting during flash is normal. Regarding the 0% issue see my sig and please stop opening useless threads. That's just proof you're either unable to read or search.

Like it has been said before, use the SEARCH function of the forum.
Also try to use a more "descriptive" thread title next time, like for example "Problem with Activesync while flashing radio" or similar.

it has no gsm message, no radio version,no protocol version.or IMEI.
i have tried to flash serveral different radios and wm6 upgrade, but nothing seems to work. i always get some kind of error or update stops at 11 or 12 %.
not sure what to do next. any help would be very appreciated.

im having the same problem that you are having. i have an htc 6800 and id like some help on what i might be screwing up on. this is my first flash and im not quite how to fix it. it seems like some one might know whats happening to us.
this is my first flash. and this is what i know. i know i have bl 1.20 and which was successfully installed.... then i tried to install a rom. alltel as it was required to flash the phone to cricket. that didn't work so well. about 11-12% my comp made a thinking noise like it was starting to load something then my 6800 flashed red and went back to the red green blue screen... so ive been at it all day and found lots of useful info on the internet learning lots about this phone and flashing procedures. found a place online where it instructed me to "force feed the rom" mind you this wasn't something that would fix my problem just a different way to install the rom. so i used a blank RUU and that for the moment looked like it would work. it to had a communication error but it got to 59% the error code was 260. it asked me to unplug everything and plug everything. i have been at this a while i have tried many configurations and different computers and different usb ports. i don't even have a full drasp on this yet. some one tell me how to fix this or what i did wrong. im interested in somthing i read about that i cant find now about loading the rom by resting the phone and the rom installing from the sd card???? can i do this if my usb is acting up?
well i've bought a htc s620 on ebay and it has windows mobile 6 standard beta on it. CE OS 5.2.1215. i've tried installing wm 6.1 by kavana on it but at 3% it just exits and said image is corrupt but that very same image worked on a BT s620. i've tried application unlock on the s620 and it says "phone is not unlockable". what can i do to remove the beta version and install 6.1? btw i've to set a wrong date to be able to use the beta version else it will lock the phone and i won't be able to use it

i've read everything tried everything but that **** refuses to update. i've tried a lot of roms but everytime i get " image corrupted" whilst the same roms work on another s620. i've tried to application unlock it but i get "phone is not unlockable". help please
