You're in the Rhodium forum. Go ask in the Touch Dual forum. Last I heard, they had NAND Android builds rolling out.

You have downloaded it from the Microsoft website?
Well, yea I did. But now it sounds that there is no official 6.1 update for some phones. I don't know, im new to this stuff.
Mh, there is no choice for a download from microsoft. Are you sure you download an update to Windows Mobile 6.1 and NOT to Windows OFFICE Mobile 6.1?
Like here: Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1: Upgrade
Later there will be an update also for the HTC touch but not now...
Hey, what you've downloaded is a smartphone edition. Your HTC Touch requires a Touch-screen version, which is known as the 'Professional' edition eg. WM 6.1 Professional. You should go to the 'Elf' section in this forum instead of this. This section is for users who do not possess a HTC-built Windows Mobile devices.

so an HTC touch is not made by HTC?
=p
no, this section. its in general discussion and is called unlocking modifying and upgrading. its for like dell, asus and other makers who arent htc, but need somewhere to mode and post their roms. i wold head here if i were you
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366424
and if your touch has 128mb ram, its called an elfin, and if it has 64, its called an elf. its very important u dont get them mixed up.
the amount of ram you have can be found by going to settings, then the system tab then device information
Hope ive helped
and remember to use the search button in the top left.

I know you can put android on windows mobile phones so how do I put windows mobile on my android phone?? Thankss
oh and does anyone have any new info on the htc supersonic? Do you think anyone will make a rom for it so it has the touchflo 3D that the hd2 has because I really like the hd2.
1. you can't
2. the supersonic is an android phone which looks like the hd2. If you want a HD2, why don't you just buy one?

Because I have sprint and the hd2 isn't on the sprint network.
But I've seen people put android on their windows mobile devices so why ant it work the other way around? Also I saw a YouTube video and someone had the htc hero which is an android device and they had Manila 2.1 touchoflo 3D on it.

This is the most failed thread I've ever read.
where can i get windows 7 for my dopod 818pro..is it possible to install it
Ok everyone listen... There is no device on the market that will support Windows Phone 7.
Windows Phone 7 has very steep hardware requirements.
1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor
8GB Flash Storage
3.5mm Head-Phone
GPS, Compass, Accelerometer, Bluetooth, FM Radio Support
800x480 or 480x320 screen Resolution
4-Point Capacitive Display.
Only 3 Front Facing Hardware Buttons
There's only one device that even comes close and that's the HTC HD2 and it's not even getting a upgrade because of the buttons, well not officially. I believe in you XDA-Dev's

it is possible, as the hardware is better then some phones running Windows Mobile, but why would you wan it on your beloved Desire?!
With the HTC M8 Windows phone now available, Wondering if the Windows Mobile OS can be backported to the M7?
Just curios.
Is the OS activated just like big brother?
Thanks,
