1. i have a problem when my contact calling me is now showing up
in call history also just show unknow number
2. for new number calling me also not show any number even in call history
3. when the phone ring callrecorded keep pop up for force stop ...
anyone have any solution
Finally solve my problem .. is the cellar id problem
my network provider solve it for me

hi i bought my DHD last 1 month back.
From yesterday night im facing a weird problem. When ever i receive a call it always displays "Unknown" and no Number is displayed.
Can someone please help me to fix it.

No its not block any where. Yesterday it was displaying as normal. All of a sudden im facing it. I even googled it but no luck with it. Have seen some post with same issue but couldn't figure out a solution.
Can someone please help me. I have already missed lots of calls because of this issue.
Has some one found any fix for it. Please help me. I have missed lots of important calls because of this issue. Or i will hv to switch back to Windows mobile back.
While Incoming i dont see any number nor any name despite it being stored in my contact details. Instead I see "Unknown" and the number is not even retained in call history. It only says "Unknown"

Hi! My mom just bought a HTC Wildire S and she is very happy with it but she is having one problem with it. All her contacts are saved on her google account and linked to facebook. But when some contact calls the phone always shows Unknown.
I think the problem is that all her contacts are saved with "+354" in front of the phonenumber but when the contact calls it doesnt display the "+354" part, just the phone number. I have an Desire and my contacts are set up in the same way and work perfectly. Any ideas how I can fix this?
Its a common error. I have it on my wildfire s too. Think the problem started from android 2.3 but it happens in certain countries only. This is what HTC support told me.. The solution is either add a number twice for the same contact. Once with the country code and other one without.
You may also get a software called prefixer from the market. it will add the country code to incoming calls and the contact name will show after proper configuration.

I just bought a P6 and directly upgraded to B506 (so, for the comments that follow, I have no prior status to compare against).
What I noticed is that for all incoming calls, only the phone number is shown and not the caller id. For example, I created a contact 'John Doe' for my home phone number and placed a call. Phone number shows up, 'John Doe' does not. Same behavior when I replaced my home phone number (fixed line number) with my wife's mobile phone number.
Furthermore, when I checked the Dialer for the 'missed' call, same story: it shows the number, not the caller id.
At first, I thought that this behavior is attributed to my mobile Telco provider. Then, I downloaded and used a dialer from Play Store (Swipe Dialer Pro). Swipe Dialer's list of recent calls does show the caller id !
So, has anyone else experienced that ? Any clues on what might be causing this behavior on the stock dialer and how it can be resolved ?

After I installed KingSense Custom ROM there is a strange problem which I couldn't solved.
Eg: If make a call from another mobile to SIM one " If that contact saved as 077XXXX21 " then its shows that exact contact on the screen. but If I make a call to SIM2 from same mobile since it has saved as "077XXXX21" it doeasn't shows exact person and it shows the incoming call as unknown ( 77XXXX21 ). which shows contact no without "0". Therefore I have to save 077XXXX21 and 77XXXX21 under same contact to receive calls from same person to any SIM to show the specific contact.
Earlier if I receive calls as +9477XXXX21 , 077XXXX21 or 77XXXX21 it showed the specific contact when receiving the call to either SIM 1 or SIM2.

I have exactly the same issue.
There is no fix, you either have to deal with it or get a different phone.
I'm waiting for the OnePlus 9 in March.

No issue on NA rom - is it possible your contact is calling from a private number?
Otherwise, make sure phone app has contacts permission.

Hi, phone has all permissions granted and no they are not calling me from a private number and all incoming calls are coming as unknown dialer even if the caller is saved in my contacts, also sometime the phone shows who's calling me, it happens randomly on its own
