The theme apk's in the zip will be for both RFS and Ext4. But the zip file for ext4 must be coverted to use edify scripts. So you can not use a zip designed for ext4 on a RFS system or RFS on a ext4. From what I have seen #'s of downloads is ext4 is 4 to 1 ratio. That number might start to change with some the problems with ext4 causing FC's and random reboots.
Something nice is on the way rfs. Probably a week at the most. in the mean time if you like pink

the only one i got to successfully install was the Gingerbread theme

Can we not go from ext4 to rfs nandroids in cwm? It doesn't usually seem to work for me.

It works ok. But it doesn't change it.I'd you backup on ext4, switch to rfs, and restore that backup, you'll still be on rfs
sent from my cm7-ified epic
If it gives you trouble for some reason do an advanced restore data only.

So why doesn't it change the file system? Isn't that the whole point of a recovery is that it will make your phone identical to when you made that nandroid?

No. It is a backup of files and data, not the filesystem. Look at it like making a computer backup, formatting the hard drive as FAT32 instead of NTFS. The restore does not put your system back to NTFS.

You could dd it via adb if you really wanted to

Hi
I cant mount system to make backups..
Anyone knows how to fix??
Im running gioprio 1.4
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda premium
That happened to me, when I was using the "stock" cwm with CM7.1.
I had to flash another cwm which came with the rom. Maybe you should look around if the Giopro rom has one too.
(Or just simply try to flash a newer version)
I will try, do you know if gioprio uses rfs or ext4 file system??

I never used it, so I have no idea. But this post suggests, there are problems with ext4:

The changelog however says, 1.4 supports EXT3/EXT4

No its not

Then......what's the problem with it?
Sent From My Galaxy Gio Using XDA Premium
for me it's nearly 450mb. with programs.
Mine mostly about 600 mb
Use another recovery and try mounting system, data, cache, sdcard and backup

Ok tried another version of CWM and now it works...my nandroid backup is over 450 mb

that size is corrupt..
if you allready flashed to stockrom with odin.. its mean your system is RFS.. and if you want to nandroid backup... use recovery support rfs only... CWM 5.0.2.6 by hyriand.
go to this thread .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313215
but, if you have customized/ formated your stock with other kernel with ext4 system.. you have to use Recovery with ext4 support.. use this

Backup your ext2 and the files in the first partition and format your sd card the way you want

How can I access ext2 partition in windows 8? Softwares are not working, I tried some of em.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
try minitool partition wizard, with this you can make the ext2 partition bigger without formating.
