I was wondering if we could flash an AT&T ROM on our Tmobile phones and would it have any drawbacks? Can I still get full 4G? I don't care about WiFi calling.

hehe my thoughts exactly. These att roms will work on tmo. Anyone tried Sprint roms yet?
I've got the other case -- an unlocked AT&T GSIII and I'm on T-Mobile. Any problems loading up my AT&T phone with a T-Mobile ROM? How about a T-Mobile radio? Never mind, started my own thread, no need to derail this one...

Yep Sprint roms work the same, Verizon don't work yet because they have a sim verifier I haven't located yet. Forgot to mention, some AT&T and sprint roms do have carrier specific apns-conf.xml's but can be replaced with one from ours with ES file explorer. So that means no data, but most work out of the box. Be careful.

No to the radio question, you use the one you have installed. Factory reset, then wipe cache partition, then in advanced, wipe davlik cache. That's it, next flash rom.
As for a list,
I love Aristodemos, using a modified version daily.
Kyan rom is nice.
Ariel,
Triune,
blazer,
and Miui all work well from AT&T.
I'm running a SGS3 on verizon. I'm trying to install the nascar app, I doubt that I can get it to work but I was hoping I could have a copy of the sprint build.prop to see if I can trick it into working. Any help is appreciated. thanks!

You could just dl a sprint ROM and extract it
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Its a lot faster dl'ing a 3-4kb text file than a 400mb+ rom

let us know if you succeed, I would be interested in seeing if we can get the Verizon NFL app working on our sprint phones using your same method.
Thanks.
Ive searched, installed 5 different roms during tonites first half, none allow nfl mobile to work. I dont want to go stock, but even the stock rooted doesnt work. Anyone know how to fix this?

I take it you're on Verizon, if so do you have the Verizon login apk? if so then make sure when you login the first time that you're on 3g/4g and not wifi or else it wont let you login. needs to be able to tell you're on the Verizon network. Thats all i got without knowing exactly whats not working for you

Help please! Noob here, can anyone tell me if flashing The People's Rom, for the Sprint GS3, on the SGH-I747, AT&T GS3, works 100%? Will the phone and mobile data work more specifically? If not are there any tips or tweaks to get them working? Thanks in advance for any help.

If you'd like a very expensive paperweight..... Please use the search feature.
GS3 is carrier specific. You may be able to get away with flashing a tmo ROM and changing APNs but a sprint or Verizon ROM would almost definitely kill your device.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked around for a version ported to the sgh-i747 with no luck. I found some noob guides for porting so... I guess I'll get started

Its possible but like he said tmo and at&t are similar but sprint and Verizon can be more tricky.... Just make sure you back up everything you properly. Ask the dev who made it some questions and most will help if you are just doing it for personal use and not for others.

Radios are different, I believe virgin is more like Boost. You can use ROMS here but you must remove asserts from the ROM 1st to keep from getting errors in recovery.

You should definitely read post 1 and 2 carefully HERE. A lot of info to take in. I know from experience that you can only have 3g and MMS, or 4g and no MMS on AOSP roms. If you flash the 4g fix it breaks MMS.
