[Q] Evo Battery Help please

I have a rooted Evo 4G and my battery has lasted no longer than 4 hours and change..... i already turned off all the recommended settings, 4g,gps, wifi, brightness, etc...
can anyone please help me...?
do i need to root my phone again?
please help!

WTF is WRONG with you? Do you think that posting the same problem 5 times is going to get you help faster? Most likely now we will all ignore you.

1) Try posting this in the Q&A section.
2) Try posting your problem in the thread DEDICATED to the ROM you are using.
3) Use f**king search, and find out about other peoples solutions re: batt life.
4) Come to terms with the fact that no one wants to help a forum spammer.

S-off root

Could someone link me to an easy s-off root. It's not for me, I'm rooting a friends phone. I have a evo lte and an evo shift and I know how to root. I'm just lazy and don't want to spend 10000 hours with his phone hooked up to computer. And please don't troll me with the "use your search" never works for me. Just a link is all I ask. Thank you in advance!

To answer the questions... as there may be some terminology mix up here.
S-Off: Not yet
Root: Yes after HTC-Dev unlock. No exploit to avoid using HTC-Dev.

I earned 3/4 of my thanks helping people with either Epic, Epic Touch, NS4G, or GNex and I am scared as hell to unlock and root my One X. I paid someone $25 to link to my laptop with TeamViewer and handle it for me on my EVO LTE. I may do the same again if someone is down. Everything is so different.

It isn't that bad. It is pretty much impossible to brick this thing since we have S-On yet and people aren't running around flashing bootloaders on low battery and other stuff.
All it is literally is getting the oem token from fastboot, pasting it into the htc dev website, then flashing the bin file they give you. It does format /data (factory reset) on the device once you accept the agreement that shows on the device but you are then unlocked. All you have to do then is flash cwm and install supersu/superuser zip.

[Q] I want to go back to complete stock for warranty. but how?

Hi guys, as you know the G3 is awesome but has a problem with random hard crashes. I've had this issue since I bought the phone.
I didn't take it to warranty then because I didn't have a spare phone to use in the meantime. I do now and I'd like to go back to complete stock so I can get take it into warranty.
Can anybody tell me if there is a guide online? or steps to take?

Sorry I did a search but didn't find anything at first I found the thread. this question can be removed by mods or locked.

Bought a used M9 and its really messed up

I bought a used HTC One M9, and everything seems to work fine until I try to update it (Its on Android 5.0.2) it looks normal but then goes to this screen (See attached photo). I guess the phone has S-off? I'm not really very good with any of this stuff, if anyone can help me get back to stock so I can get OTA's that'd be great. I tried doing all the research I could but have gotten nowhere. The phone is an unlocked model, I was told it's a developers edition but IDK how to tell the difference. There is no carrier branding so I'm assuming he didn't lie, and that the phone actually is unlocked. If anyone can help it'd be very greatly appreciated, I planned to use this phone as my main phone but I cant use it on almost 3 year old software.

MAN THAT WAS ALOT OF GUESSWORK AND CLINKING LINKS BUT I THINK I DID IT HAHA! Thanks so much man it wasn't actually that hard I just needed to get pointed in the right direction, I'll let you know if it all goes through well. Thanks again.

Glad to see you helped this person out. I spent all day with them on reddit trying to get it sorted out. But I wasn't able to discord.
Thanks for helping them and it sounds like you refused money. Good on you.
Im curious though, what was the problem? I pointed him to several instructions including the official razer firmware flash instructions. I felt so bad for him! Nothing I suggested worked!

You had to run the flashing process in couple parts amd let the phone to charge.
